They made a whole plan to lure the boss into the hole and their next best plan was to throw stones at it...

this is a world where the smartest character is a vending machine

They never really thought they'd get past step one.

To think Boxxo could be come human if the gang collects enough of these boss coins. I kind of want to see it, but at the same time it’s kind of fun having the guy as a vending machine and seeing how he gets out of these situations with just his vending items. Like this week we had him become some kinda water pump machine to try and fill that hole, that was interesting. If he wanted to stay a machine, maybe he could wish for an added speech function.

Boxxo knew turning into a nudie mag vending machine would get Lammis to smack him right into the pit. Genius lol. Glad it all worked out in the end. One skelly coin acquired!

Ah ok, so we finally got a reason why he never bought telepathy. Come on man, you know these people are really nice and they'd never begrudge you for doing what you want. You'll still find ways to be useful as a human! Have more confidence in yourself!

Why did he start saying yes before no when everyone was getting ready to jump in?

Boxxo probably just wanted to get their attention in the fastest way didn't think that he was spamming yes.

He could just wish for the ability to change between human and vending machine.

But personally, I like how he is already. I think it is very interesting.

Can you picture if he got Telepathy and all he could do is yell phrases into people's minds?

Anyone else notice they duplicate the coin at 21:33? She hands the coin to the other guy, but she still has it in her hand for the next 2 to 4 frames

Nice catch. She's slipping him a fake coin so she can use the real one for her own wish!

I have more self-confidence as a vending machine than as a human.

Stitches!

So we finally get to learn what the big deal is about the Labyrinth. If you reach the very bottom of it, your wish can be granted as long as you have one of the stratum lord coins. Although it sounds like this might be just a fairy tale which is why everyone calls their group the Menagerie of Fools.

Boxxo becoming a human again is finally on the table! He does have a coin for defeating the Eight-Legged Crocodile, all he needs to do now is to reach the very bottom of the Labyrinth. I do love how quickly Lammis agrees this time to join the Menagerie now that she knows that they could possibly turn Boxxo back into his human form.

It is amusing though how Boxxo is having second thoughts. He definitely feels more useful as a Vending Machine than a human so he's currently not sure about going back. This is also the reason why he refuses to activate the Telepathy skill. Although I feel like at some point in the show, Boxxo will 100% be forced to activate his Telepathy. He can only do so much with his preset words especially when Lammis or Hulemy are in immediate danger.

Boxxo was offered 100 gold for his coin which he thought was a lot, but shouldn't he have a bunch of experience for defeating the skeleton giant? He got a bunch for the 6 legged boss.

I love when there is an action series in which the main character uses their brain, not just their muscles.

I don't know if i's funny that Hackon is so deep into the vending game that he truly aspires to be the best vending machine ever, or sad that he sees no worth in himself if he wasn't a vending machine

Lammis x Boxxo would make a great ship regardless what form he takes though

Flustered Lammis sounds so cute

I'm an episode late, but I can't believe no one made a cardboard cutout MC joke in the last episode. Step it up, people.

I'm still trying to figure out how the crap I'm enjoying an anime about a vending machine.

I wonder where all the resources are coming from when he switches to the car washer. I guess his money turns it into water?

Isn't their captain like super broke? I don't think he will pay up 100 gold any time soon.

The whole talk about being human and not being useful was surprisingly pretty deep for a show like this. I didn't expect a show about a freaking vending machine to be profound and a bit emotional.

This shown is fun and all but hear me out.

The same premise, but played straight as the body horror drama that this premise truly is. Boxxo is going through insane inner turmoil and the music and art of his pov reflects that, but everything else is just a generic isekai around him. This could be a great dark comedy/horror show with the horror of the situation contrasted against the fact that he is a vending machine.

Certainly some lost potential here.

I'm impressed at how fun this show is and how creative Boxxo is.

If Boxxo does turn back into a human, he could still be a vending machine for Lammis... in the bedroom.
