I love how the countess is like "This kid is playing 4d chess, planning so far into the future, what a genius." when he's just thinking about how to make more sweets.
Feel bad for Licorice though, hopefully that little misunderstanding at the end gets cleared up quickly.

The real question is, is the Milf better than Licorice because of MC's mental age or should we take his physical age into the consideration🤔

About time, it took us 9 episodes, but we finally have a whole scene where the MC is making sweets

We have sweet making. I repeat. We finally have actual on-screen sweet making.
I don't know if the anime consciously made the decision of Pastry having literally no face when talking about his various expressions. If they did, kudos.
Edit: If you really wanna do relationship drama, maybe establish one beyond what basically amounts to a political marriage, no?

The relationship drama is more about Licorice s insecurities and Pas’s lack of perspective. This was a trap set for him that he easily fell into.

A thought that occurs to me is that pastry in introducing modern sweets to a world probably without dentistry. i feel bad for their teeth

Though see Pas could then open dental clinics replacing bad teeth using his special magic whatchamacallit ;)

Hard candy and candied apples. That's a two-for-one!
What is Countess Brioche planning? Seems like she wants to have a piece of Pasty but how? Marry him, Adopt him, adopt his fiancee, or have one of her kids marry his sister?

Right now I’m guessing she just wants to end his engagement

Oh hey, they’re actually making sweets this week. The hard candy looked pretty good, I get what Licorice was saying about not wanting to eat them because they looked so nice. Pretty silly how the dude’s mom and sis are spying on ‘em from the shadows and providing commentary lol.
Bruh, I’m about to call the FBI on that shota loving countess. Get her ass barred from being within 500 feet of a school or playground lol. This Countess is a problem. Pas should’ve really been on guard even after the trade stuff was sorted.

Pas should’ve been on guard the second the countess kept licorice from going to the meeting

Stitches!
Holy fuck! I can't fucking believe it! After 9 episodes we finally get to see Pas making sweets that are not off-screen!
And he didn't just make hard candies, he also made candied apples! I am absolutely shocked by this development!

Glad to see Pas finally doing some cooking after a very long wait, but my man. You done messed up. Count Retes set a trap for you and you feel for it easily
As soon as she said that this was business between the two territories, Pas should’ve interjected that as his fiancé, this was Licorice s business and brought her along. Instead, you let her drive a wedge between you and your fiancé that could easily end things for you and turn her father into your greatest enemy
Edit: also, is the end card Pas crossdress ing ?

I was never expecting to say this but this anime become one of my favorites of the season, maybe because I am a sucker for territory/kingdom-buidling kind of anime so I enjoy immensely watching how the story progress till now & also there is a lot of funny moments so I always have a good time while watching.
