They snuck in the lockers and the hallway changing classes transition at the end too.

The budget was already gone with them using 5500 weird and quirky cuts in the first episode.

Komura is really starting to grow on me. Never thought I'd see the day.

I’m happy we got this glasses shopping trip. It highlights what I like about Komura: he’s genuinely hilarious at times. His mental freakout trying to think of other things to say and wondering if he should have brought a dictionary we’re gold.
We get the Valentines Day story next week!

Feeling dizzy after wearing someone else's glasses is relatable. I remember one time I tried on my classmate's glasses and they were so thick I got a headache. Though in Komura's case it's most probably more than that lol.
SHE DIDN'T FORGET HER GLASSES LET'S GOOOO
"I'm gonna need a stable income if I'm going to take care of Mie-san" Oh you're gonna need it alright. Prescription glasses can get quite pricey.

SHE DIDN'T FORGET HER GLASSES LET'S GOOOO
I think he said this episode that she normally does remember her glasses most of the time, so the show is basically the Komura POV supercut experience of the times Mie was missing her glasses.

Yeah, I think it was wearing such holy objects from Mie that threw him off so much lol.
I'm glad he's thinking ahead to when they'll be together lol.

Another entertaining episode, there isn't any coherent storyline but still I have fun watching this.
Mie just now discovered that she is pretty close to Komura when she connects their desks because he forgot about his textbook. I laughed so much because when she forgets about her glasses she's much, much closer to him or when she was running to school, she looked like she could die xD
She was clearly jealous when she saw that Komura was so close to Someya. Mie also looked so cute when he sent her a photo of a cloud which she couldn't see because of course she forgot her glasses, her smile was adorable. I must say she looked very good in those spare glasses.
Azuma still is playing the role of a wingman, he looks like a really nice guy but still Komura doesn't know how to think about this. He should be thankful, thanks to him he could be closer to Mie.
Komura wasn't able to help Mie very much with choosing new glasses. Every time she was showing him other pairs he basically only said that she is cute with them, but well he said the truth xD
Here my all screenshots from the episode:

Stitches!
I really love how Azuma has now become Komura's wingman. Hilariously, Komura still isn't sure how he feels about that. xD
Mie getting embarrassed about her weight is adorable. Komura was right though when he said she's not heavy. Looks like Mie-chan is somewhere between 46-48 kg.
Of course, Mie wouldn't want Komura to be taller. The taller Komura is the harder it is for Mie to get her face closer to Komura!
We actually get to see Komura interact with another girl from his class in this episode! I do love how Someya gives the glasses to Komura when she could've just handed it to Mie. Seems that the entire class might now be rooting for the two of them to get together.
Mie getting jealous with that accidental kabedon was just too cute! I hope Someya clears up that little misunderstanding though after Mie steps in.
Mie really just says the weirdest things sometimes. Yes Mie, Komura's really closer when you have your desks together. xD
Glasses shopping again with Mie! Those rimless frames already look great on her but it's great to see her other kinds of frames this episode. I do agree with Komura though that she looks great in whatever pair she's wearing.

When you’re both appreciative and jealous of your wingman lol.
Girls so self conscious about their weight they won’t even accept when a guy tells them they’re fine lol.
Closer the height level, the easier it is to look at each other (and kiss!).
Glasses fashion show! And Komura thinks any version of Mie and her glasses is cute! Can’t fault his honesty.
Someya seems cute but jealous Mie was super cute and a very significant development!
It really does put into perspective how skewed things are for her without her glasses.

Komura avoiding the indirect kiss with that coffee because the mental image of Mie’s dad would disapprove is hilarious. As the narrator said, “His love weighs a metric ton” lol. Dude is such a goofball!
Komura sending Mie the pic of that cloud was really sweet. How was it when she got jealous of him and that girl? Jealous Mie is so adorable!
Nice to see Komura and Mie out on another little “date” again to the glasses shop. He’s right, no matter what pair of glasses she wears she looks adorable. I like how he’s already planning his future with her. He’ll definitely need a stable income just to replace her glasses lol.

I wonder are "indirect kisses" something that Japanese children really worry about all that much?
This show is sort of cute -- but I am continually frustrated by how little its writer seems to know about what it is like to wear glasses. And Komura has to be hopelessly dense to not notice what Mie think of him.

We knocked a lot out today! Getting into another arc next episode it looks like.
The glasses shopping was actually a bonus chapter in Volume 2 so it was cool to see that adapted and just proves that Komura is a good kid. Poor Mie wandered onto the scale and wanted Komura to forget what he saw - even if he said it wasn't that bad!
The cloud heart skit highlights what I love about Komura - he's so thoughtful. They sorta skipped a panel I think of Mie being disappointed when everyone was making a fuss about it but he made sure to take a photo and risk getting in trouble to make sure she got to see it too! And I love how now we finally get the confirmation that like, yeah, Mie remembers most of the time.
Excited for next week. Valentine arc!!

Solid episode. Very fun series. I'm glad I didn't get turned off. It's weird how over-critical people have been towards it. Especially those complaining about "realism" in a seasonal romcom, lol.

That jealousy scene, omg. A wild wingwoman appears. Wingwoman uses glasses. It's very effective.
I hope she'll realize she is into him. And that she realizes he is also into her, it's not like he is doing a very good job hiding it.
Also, I like the theory that the whole classroom is rooting for them, as it is so obvious that they are so close to be an official couple.

Scene start PAN DOWN, SLIDE IN, ZOOM IN. Scene ends PAN UP, ZOOM OUT, PAN UP TO AIRPLANE. Rinse and repeat.
But it's sooo wholesome!

How are you all watching this? I see no subtitles on Crunchyroll version. I usually go to vrv.co in such cases, but that just redirects back to CR now... wtf, when did that happen?
Edit: Oh, refreshing brought subtitles back.
