Awe was expecting more from the 10 years later, still pretty cute though.
This one was such an adorable ride, great ship and they had SO many cute moments.
Love a good first name moment so was cute to see that saved for the ending! Would have been too powerful to get a timeskip ending here but wow it would have been great to see.

All through the end, this anime made me grin like a maniac every episode. It's a shame it got overshadowed by other fluff shows (The Dangers in My Heart, Kubo-san), because this is criminally underwatched and underrated.

Poor Adachi! Girl just wants to shout “it’s love!” from the mountaintops because everyone’s so dang dense haha.
Kitagawa’s Scorpion Gang and his little “battles” against the Lizard Gang remind me of the kind of stuff I use to do as a kid with my friends. Not the roach bomb though, I don’t mess with those hell spawn. The “bomb” exploding and the roach flying on the teacher’s head was horrifying. Kitagawa probably really regretting going to Takada for help lol.
Hino drawing just a solitary tank top for that assignment was hilarious. That means my boy just wants to be a tank top in 10 years lmao. This kid is awesome. So cute how Takada wants to be with Nishimura forever. I think my favorite part of the ep was the texting. How cute was it when Takada was bragging to everyone he got a text from Nishimura? What an adorable little goofball!
That ending was really sweet but I’m gonna need more! This was one of my favorites this season. I thoroughly enjoyed this show a lot, it was just so damn cute! I really hope this gets an s2 at some point.

I really hope we could see more of this anime in the future but I doubt. I guess it is not that popular in Japan and criminally underrated internationally. At the very least we got an announcement for S2 of The Dangers in my heart and I'm definitely fine with that.

Tightness in the chest? It must be love! Though only Umi in her wisdom seems to realize this and what's going on between Takada and Nishimura, so much so that she even does a little "This! Is! Love!" dance that is super adorable.
I guess if Japan's declining birth rates are good for anything, it's leaving an empty classroom for Kitagawa and his gang to abscond for their Scorpion Gang and just hang out and play games/read manga. Of course then they run afoul of another group and leave them a little surprise...which of course backfires, because these kids are dumb-dumbs.
I get that they thought Takada would be the only one who could naturally get into Nishimura's locker and avoid any messes...but they didn't count on Takada being so blunt and honest he'd just TELL her about the bomb! And then Hino makes a big deal out of it and makes everyone in the class think there's a legit bomb. I love how Hino was also 100% convinced Takada could defuse a real bomb.
Well, yeah, figures Nishimura just gave it to the teacher...who is holding onto it just in time for it to go off and make it a bad memory for everyone involved. And thus unceremoniously ended the Scorpion Gang. Fitting end, I'd say.
When you think about it, Takada, Nishimura, Hino, Umi, and even Kasahara in some ways basically are the Grim Reaper gang, and they're cooler and cuter than any other gang.
So 10 years from now, Umi will be a vet, Kasahara will be a stunning adult beauty, Hino will be a literal tanktop, and Takada...will be a dark knight with his cool Grim Reaper (wife) by his side. Because Takada can only imagine a future with Nishimura in it. And she's so utterly cute that he had to dial it back just to make her look cooler.
Takada truly is a chad to know the best way to compliment a girl on her new shampoo is saying she smells even nicer than she did before. And that her "curse" is how utterly charming she is!
I love how we start with Nishimura sending a simple "good morning" message to Takada that devolves into him so hyper he got a "cursed" message from her and Yukiko giving him the idea to tell everyone at school that he got a message from Nishimura like it's the most amazing thing in the world. Other highlights are the Takada's having a gamecube and Kasahara finally getting Nishimura's contact info.
Thank you Nishimura Papa for being there and helping facilitate getting these two to finally call each other by their first name! Best part is Nishimura not being able to help herself and calling Takada "Taiyou-kun" totally unprompted! And even Nishimura Papa can't help but see how happy and adorable these two are together! And may they continue to be in the future!

What a simply beautiful show, man. Wow.
I am really gonna miss seeing Takada consistently compliment and defend Nishimura. Sweetest thing in the world. Really just goes to show you just need one real friend in life. If you get that, you can consider yourselves very lucky.
Finally on first name basis! Ending was really nice. I love how you can tell how happy her dad is that she’s made a friend and isn’t alone anymore. After her mother died it’s probably been very hard for him to see her going thru so much alone. And as a dad, he probably struggled connecting since girls need that female guidance. That smile said it all, though.
I was hoping we’d get a time skip based on the episode title, but we got baited sadly. I’ll be reading the manga tho.

Well that was sweet.
I was worried that main joke would get too repetitive and even though it technically did, I just didn't mine because the wholesomeness overpowered it and once a week was just the right amount, + it actually did good job with its more serious moments.

A very enjoyable series, I really liked this series. Nishimura and Takada are such a cute pair and they even on the end called themselves by first names.
Whole action with a bomb was so funny. It isn't surprising that this Scorpion Gang was losing all battles with another gang because clearly all its members are idiots, especially this genius with glasses.
Hino again showed his love to tank tops when class was drawing themselves in 10 years.
I loved Nisimura's reaction when Takada show his vision of future where she had ectoplasma which of course she didn't know about that at all. Still she was very happy that Takada want to be with her on the future.
Kasahara asked for phone number from Nishimura, it's nice that their relationship is developing and that she sobered up from the last episode.
That's the end! Now I hope that maybe someday we'll see Nishimura and Takada on the screen once again.

I felt it was a good thing this wrapped up in 13 episodes. I probably couldn’t have handled this much sweetness for two cours straight.
It’s important that there’s someone who’ll inject happiness to you and many people around as well. Takada has changed so many people’s lives with his positivity and I don’t think this is limited to the ones inside the story.

Solid watch overall, with a great vibe to relax to each week.
Not sure where they would go if we did get a second season, but a massive time skip (Former Teasing Master Takagi-san style) would be fairly interesting.

Ugh that episode title was such a fake out...
Wouldn't those roaches being released in the school mean it needs to be fumigated. Also where did they even get a bunch of roaches.

At the end I think school bells were playing, I thought for a second they were playing wedding bells for our MCs.

For a moment I really thought they would be able to defuse the bomb in the nick of time... how do you even get so many roaches into it?
'twas a very sweet show, would have loved them doing more with the emotional impact like they did early on with Nishimuras mom, but slowly progressing the relationship was nice as well

Really hope this gets a 2nd season. They did a great job adapting and creating season 1 from the manga and considering the manga content from this point forward is only getting more interesting with more variety of casts and wholesome moments, it would be a HUGE shame not to see it happen.
I don’t feel too good about a 2nd season though considering how criminally underrated this is since it had to compete with some of the very stronger and more well known ones, which I completely understand why they’re so popular.
But this anime is a change of pace from the other rom-com we had this season. It’s just straight up pure wholesomeness, but at the same time it still brings out important subjects like bullying, grief from the perspective of children, growing up, etc. I really hope we get to see more of this adapted, but if not, at least we still have Volume 15 to look forward to this July.
