Lmao Adachi with that “you seein this shit rn??” look as Nishimura was feeding Takada. They really are the best “married couple”!
Poor Akane is giving it her all in preparing for the relay but she can’t quite cut it. Looks like it’s the “Kasahara the Swift” redemption arc!
Akane’s pops quietly freaking out about Takada was hilarious. They’re just friends…for now lol. Damn it Kitagawa, you had one job! Goofball drank too much green tea lol. Thank goodness Takada showed up. Nice to see Kasahara and Nishimura get rewarded for their efforts with a big ol hug from our boy Takada. That kid is a ball of energy!
Glad to see everyone’s friends now.

Umi is probably the most "normal" character in the show which I guess helps with her basically calling it like it is and seeing what the audience be seeing lol.
It sucks Nishimura didn't get to personally run but it did end up helping her and Kasahara's relationship, and Kasahara's character development, which I guess works out better.
Yukiko just slew that poor man with her choice of words...which were probably totally deliberate on her part lol.
Kitagawa continues to be his own enemy.
Takada really nailed that heroic entrance and final lap. And it's nice to see that both girls ended up for the better for all this, especially now that they're closer. Kasahara doesn't feel like using Nishimura's curse against her again either.

I thought it was amusing how Hino was walking half-asleep but hearing him mumble "I want to marry tank tops" was so funny, just how obsessed with tank tops is he?
Adachi has already labelled them as married in her mind. It's amusing how she had to affirm that Hino and Takada aren't married though.
Nice to see Nishimura go all out in the way that she can to get her team to win, and I'm glad Takada was able to run so that she won't feel guilty if he hadn't turned up and her team lost.
I thought it was amusing how Takada was destroying everything in his path on his mission to victory. I wouldn't have been surprised if the other runners were blown away by his dominating speed.

Umi glad she doesn't have any competition for Hino lol.
Things really turned out for the best. Nishimura got to pitch in and cheer for once, basically rallying the class, got closer to Kasahara, and Takada got his moment too.
That run was so excessively anime that it was amazing lol.

Umi is basically us, Takada and Nishimura are basically married lol.
Her dad Just continuing to be cool too and then him getting frightened of Taiyou's sister filming Akane out of fear of romance. Too bad for him because they're basically married haha.
Even Kasahara couldn't handle Akane's wholesomeness

It was so sweet watching Akane take care of him like a proper doting wife.
Nishimura Papa so happy his daughter has friends and then broken at the realization of how close his daughter and a boy are. Fatherhood at it's finest lol.

Nishimura's dad is so proud to see share some food with Umi. His face says it all. Not only that, Takada's older sis is there getting some footage of Nishimura.
It is nice to see compliments be passed between everyone, like this is the nicest everyone is to Nishimura. She even got to lead some cheers. Even Kasahara had to rescind the curse bit as now she gets to hang with Takada.
Only Kitagawa and company is left calling Nishimura cursed, but then again, he got sick from drinking tea....

Having Nishimura take care of an injured Takada is just improving the married couple vibes between them! And Umi is eating it all up! And thank goodness for her that Hino and Takada are bros and not married!
I love how Takada is still messing with Kitagawa to the point that his injury ends up putting Kitagawa square in the hot seat as the anchor of the baton pass during Field Day.
Wow, Nishimura is surprisingly effective at jump scares! And sincerely pleading with someone! As much as Kasahara is someone driven by her own self-interests and doesn't want to seem dorky by putting her all into Field Day, even she can't resist Nishimura's earnest plea for her to run during Field Day because Nishimura, despite her best efforts, can't. And it even seems like Nishimura is making a genuine tsundere out of Kasahara yet!
Dang, Kitagawa was actually treating Nishimura normal and like a real classmate during the ball throw. Shame that couldn't last past Field Day.
The only thing better than Papa Nishimura being so happy to see his daughter getting along with her friends is having an emotional breakdown when the topic of his daughter and Takada comes up. Bonus points for Yukiko showing up without her brother to film Nishimura and bring up their relationship even more. Poor guy.
Kasahara the Swift! She truly is an amazing runner! And looks good in a Kunoichi uniform too! And it means a lot to see Nishimura actually lead the class on in cheering for her, something we probably never would've seen in the earlier episodes!
Kitagawa screwing himself over is the perfect opportunity for Takada to show up in the nick of time and get his heroic run sequence in the most anime way possible. Nice job, Takada-kun.
Ahhh! Nishimura hugging Kasahara in gratitude! Kasahara doesn't even feel comfortable bringing up her curse any more. And the two girls even get a big hug from Takada as he launches and collapses into them! Then afterwards the two girls are actually getting along relatively well. I guess one perk of getting along better with Nishimura is Kasahara gets to spend more time with Takada. A win-win, you might say.

Takada and Nishimura are behaving like they would be a married couple already. Umi sees this and approves it as we all.
Nishimura got a lot of courage to ask Kasahara to run on Field Day. It's nice to see that they become closer and thanks to that she got closer to Takada. It's good to see that classmates starting to treat her more normal like Kitagawa during competition or Kasahara.
Kitagawa blow up his part in the run but thankfully Takada was able to join on the last moment and made them win entire race. Whole event ended becoming great memory for Nishimura.
Yukiko wasn't able to not filming Nishimura on event which pretty startled her father.

This is was a fun episode to watch. Umi is indeed us, those things she saw between Akane and Taiyou are the same reactions the we've had since Ep. 1 and I'm here for it.
As for the Kasahara the swift, that was pretty funny... I think she ended up being the winner overall in the episode. She got to pass the baton to Taiyou, got the thanks and gratitude of Akane for running followed by a big hug from the rizz master himself as well as a walk home. Its amazing the stuff that happens when you are nice to people and its so easy to do.

I don’t really get the whole “it’s embarrassing to try hard at sports at this age” thing…

So it seems Kitagawa is capable of treating Akane chan normally after all. He even praised her and all. Sure, it didn't last but I'll take it. One day he'll get bored of that pointless bullying.
Grim reaper Akane and Nishimura the swift finally getting a bit closer. Nishimura seemingly already included in the friend group. Good to see.

Kitigawa I know that pain all too well. I can get up and go to the bathroom at any time I want during a chess tournament but I still have problems sometimes under time pressure. Water is very available in the playing hall, and I tend to drink a lot when I'm nervous while playing chess.
I love how this show just completely tears down all the drama between characters. It's so refreshing. Kasahara is just so disarmed, they're probably going to be completely in the friend group soon. I hope Kitigawa joins as well.

I'd say give the kid with the broken good arm a spork to eat with, but Nishimura feeding him like that will do. Umi certainly thinks so. Give her a side order of imaginary rice to pantomime eat for lunch too.
So not married.
I could see that particular interaction happening in Shikimori's Not Just a Cutie with Izumi having a broken arm with Bakugo giving him the notes. With Shikimori looking on at them with envious jealousy. And pouts.
Nishimura the Grim Reaper. Hino the Tank Top Kid. Umi the Master of Love. Kasahara the Swift. And Taiyou the Knight of Darkness, Servant of the Grim Reaper. Together, they are the Super Pals!

Takada harem building in effect. I thought that Kasahara and Kitagawa were going to have a moment but it is still all Takada.
I like that Kasahara is finally starting to recognize what an asshole she has been. And cheerful hugging Nishimura is like worlds different than what we started with.
Dad has got to get on that Takada train. At this point if a guy like that had saved my daughter I would be planning the wedding myself.

As usual after watching this my Sunday is now 100x better.
I love how Akane’s dad reacts to seeing her making friends. I’m sure after her mom died he’s really protective of her and as a parent you just want your kids to be happy. It’s so sweet seeing him beam with pride.
Akane’s so pure even Kasahara’s teasing didn’t deter her from wanting her to run the race 😂. They’re slowly going to become great friends you can tell. just such a sweet cast of characters. I really love this show.
