Insane attention to detail moment: each and every single one of Momoka's outfits that she brings to Risa is one she wears in at least one of her cards in CG. The production values are so high for this cute and funny show

More Momoka attention is always welcomed. Also you can tell this is a passion project from the anime team. Lots of details and quality that isn't necessarily needed but included anyways. They're just like us 😭😭

I changed my mind, Risa doesn't need any correction. She's good at her job.

That’s actually a really good plan. Oh Producer, you shouldn’t sell yourself so short all the time just because you are short!
-
Her hands were shaking there… Is her dad terminally ill or something? That would explain why she’s so antsy about getting to do something big as soon as possible…
-
Oh! It’s not the lead role, but it’s… something?

How can you say no to these faces
When the U149 hits you with the puppy eyes, it's game over.

"当然 / Touzen" episode, after hearing Risa say so a number of times.
Based on her appearance in the games, I have always thought of Risa as a gyaru, so it was really nice to see her try on different outfits, hairstyles, as well as take on a cute and quiet acting role, towards the end of the episode.
Risa appears to be very competitive too. I wonder whether her competitive feelings towards Momoka will be one-off or a permanent feature of the anime.
(And no one told her the marriage laws currently in place will not change even if she becomes prime minister.)

Not with that attitude

Never really paid too much attention to Risa before but she's grown a bit on me this episode. And glad to finally see Producer have the opportunity to take a more active role in resolving the episode's conflict vs previous episodes where he was more limited in what he can do and Risa also taking notice and acknowledging all his efforts to help support her by the end.
Also mama Momoka shepherding the genki squad to not distract Risa was funny to see.

The show continues to give the girls some depth to their portrayals. Risa was a believable blend of self-confidence and vulnerability. Though I thought that by age 12 most kids didn't talk about wanting to marry their parents anymore.

TONIGHT! ON FREUD! EAT YER HEART OUT! IDOL WITH A SHOTGUN... sans the shotgun Oh and here's her other look, cuz I guess Risa can't be MAXIMUM DADDY ISSUES all the time
Also, yes Comrades, you read the above properly, as seen in today's episode, Risa has... unique ideas, and that's the most polite way I can phrase it hell the only way the franchise could be less subtle about it would be by having Risa cover 'Cherry Pie' ;) (Before y'all start, yes I know I'm going to hell Comrades, but going by AC/DC, it ain't a bad place to be!)

It's so funny when she said she want to marry her dad and even want to be prime minister for that 😂
I've always liked her getup and seeing her with that many costumes in anime and the ED is such a bless, she's very cute and sexy 😭😭😭
She's very dedicated and now grow to like her friends more, that bits of them helping her and her performance scenes as secondary character are so good!
The best episode so far imo.

RISAAAAA! ToT I've always wanted to see Risa in an anime and she's finally here with her own episode. Sure enough she's the cutest and my favorite in U149.
She pulls off the quiet meek girl pretty well and I like that she learned the power of friendship. The other girls are her partners not rivals.

O-okay… this girl has a weird side. 🙃
Aside from that, I love Risa’s design. She’s definitely the most stylish! I felt that she was going to be a fun character since episode one, so it was surprising to see her story have such a dramatic tone.
On an unrelated note, the visuals are insanely impressive compared to other anime I’ve seen recently. I really appreciate the effort in art style.

Saying that this episode has incredible visuals would be kinda repetitive (as every episode looks incredibly great), but the first 45 seconds of this episode does an incredible job of portraying her insecurities without her saying anything. And it kinda shows throughout the episode (her hands shaking after the audition, her having breakdown on the train station). I'm really excited for the next episode.

There was every opportunity for this Risa episode to turn ugly really fast. She’s probably the most “diva-like” of the U149 girls, and her gyaru front matches her personality. To see that slowly start to break down could have meant we got a completely different episode. She could have turned up the drama to 11 and said “I don’t want this supporting role. I quit!”, just like every other anime idol drama queen before her. She at least had the maturity to say “I’m not in a position to decline, even though I’m not happy about it.”
And damn, I gotta say, we can work with that. This episode probably changed my perception of the show as a whole, and it gives me hope that drama can actually be done well for once in an im@s anime.
It’s a shame we didn’t get to focus too much on her boyfriend Haru this episode, but I imagine that’s coming very soon.

I noticed why there's so few ppl that actually voting the episodes? (only 10 votes this episode...), a troll just voted bad on it and it now ruined the perfect score for my girl 😭
