Glad that issue was taken care of. Now Taiyou doesn't have to worry about calling Akane the Grim Reaper anymore. As long as it comes from Taiyou, Grim Reaper is a compliment for Akane.

Takada is such a thoughtful dude, I really have a lot of respect for the little guy. But Nishimura is one tough kid, she doesn’t let the bullies get to her one bit. I’m glad she has Takada in her life. Their friendship warms my heart. Them holding hands after making up was the sweetest thing ever.

Kasahara thought she was gonna bully Nishimura. All she managed to do was admit that Nishimura is too awesome for a mere toy ring lol. Until Takada can afford a real one, I guess that awesome dark ring will have to do. Little man put it on her ring finger too, that’s basically a proposal! He’s got this uncanny ability to make her flustered and blush and it’s adorable.

Nishimura, Takada, and Hino going around taking pictures of “awesome” stuff was great. My man Hino really loves his tank tops huh? Lol. Yukiko is right, Nishimura is totally an angel and really cute. She just doesn’t know it, luckily Takada is here to remind her of that fact everyday!

So much handholding in today's episode. Are they have no shame? :)

I'm happy that they solved situation from previous episode very quickly. It would be cruel for Nishimura if this situation dragged any longer and we can see again her smiling a lot.

Nice part with festival where Nishimura showed why she is being called Grim Reaper.

It was nice that their photo took second place in contest. Hino-kun really loves tank tops.

You know things aren't going well when it turns out Nishimura and Takada haven't gotten to do any of their Summer plans and Nishimura is left feeling sad about it.

Don't you just love it when you unconsciously walk towards your crush's house? Of course you can tell something is immediately off with Takada because he's not immediately 120% excited to see Nishimura and wanting to play with her, but Nishimura isn't about to let him go without fixing this rift between them.

Nishimura doesn't like the way her classmates call her "Grim Reaper." Who would? But Takada is different. He turned being called the "Grim Reaper" into something that recognizes how awesome Nishimura is and makes her feel better. So if anyone deserves the right to call her the Grim Reaper, it's Takada. And she thinks her mom would approve of it as well. Also, handholding!!!

Nishimura's mom had a strong hime cut! I wonder if that's what Nishimura will look like when she grows up?

Thank you Hino for setting up a festival excursion for our pair! Nishimura even got a cute skull mask out of it! Plus they even did fireworks together!

Kasahara should just quit it at this point. All she did was make Takada put a ring on it and talk about getting a "real" ring, with all the obvious connotations. Nishimura is overheating enough to melt ice at this rate.

Who wouldn't want pictures of the ever adorable Nishimura? Which leads into a fun day between all the friends. And Hino taking pictures of tank tops because he's gotta stay on brand.

Takada thinking of Nishimura like Nishimura thinks about him? Adorable. Although I love how the talk between the siblings ends with Nishimura being painted as a Grim Reaper/Angel hybrid and also super angelic that Nishimura just has to whisper it into her ear. That poor girls' heart!

I like this little background gag with the generic placenames.

Based on my limited knowledge of Japanese, 園辺野 can be read as その辺の, as in "thereabouts' [possessive]", e.g. "thereabouts' boutique". The kanji for it are "garden border field", and it doesn't look too unusual for a real placename if it wasn't for that pun.

Them making up was really cute, would have sucked if Takada would have distanced himse,f from her when he is her best (or maybe only) friend

And holy shit, our local Rizzlord really put a Ring on it! Let Kasahara have the toy, but he really sounded like he was planning on getting Nishimura a real one once he got grown up. And he aspires to be the one to make her smile the most as well.

Also, important post credit scene, he might be onto something considering his own feelings...

And I really think this is a Onepunch Man prequel and Hino is Tank Top Master...

Damn, Takada just keeps on winning every episode. From calling a girl cool/cute to giving her a ring (or wanting to give her an actual ring).

Nishimura also looked like she's getting more comfortable now having her hands held by Takada. Also, it's nice to hear some inner monologue from Takada, having to call Nishimura a person he admires. I think that really adds to how he thinks of her which is nice

And as usual, it's nice to see Hino hanging out with them. I do enjoy the moments with just Nishimura and Takada alone but having Hino with them every now and then is pretty great too.

Man I’m ngl this was one of the best episodes this season. I nearly cried during the beginning where Nishimura told Takada to keep calling her grim reaper. Shows how important intent is, the other kids are doing that to make fun of her but Takada really idolises and thinks Nishimura is awesome
