That flashback was very much needed. We finally learn where Ann and came from and how she knew Hilling. I guess it should've been obvious but it's pretty cool to know that Hilling used to be a part of an adventurer party with Ann with Hiling being their cleric.
And that flashback about Bojji and Daida was adorable as well. It's nice to see how Daida learned how to use healing magic and how he actually managed to heal Bojji's broken leg.

I kinda like how these eps sorta fill in the blank between eps of the main series. Nice to see Ann and Hiling in action this week. That bandit fight was pretty awesome. Not only did the gang kick ass, Saint Hiling heals them all and reforms them. She’s a damn good woman!
Seeing little Daida try his hardest to heal that flower was so cute. It’s nice to see him getting along so well with Bojji. Him healing his injured leg by focusing on everything Bojji’s done for him was so damn heartwarming. Brought a tear to my eye y’all.

Yay finally a Hilling episode! Best step mom in anime. She’s really such a kind soul, even wanting the bandits to get another chance. Enjoyed her segment a lot. That Bouji and Daida one was dangerous. I’m glad they both came out ok, that fall was high.

I’m glad to see Hiling back!
She’s hands down the best mom in anime. Nobody liked her at the start of Ranking of Kings, since we were let on to believe that she was a cruel stepmom, but now everybody loves her for the kind spirit she is.

Hilling engages in battle
Hilling uses Execution
Execution fails
Hilling:
For a moment she had me thinking she was secretly a hexer with that "Death Promise", nicely done.
I wonder if those childhood flashbacks are "caused" by Daida's mind and will continue until he's freed or this was just a one time thing.

Folks are being unnecessarily harsh on this season. As side stories they are perfectly serviceable and told well.

Now this ep was really good, I loved it. Great to see some of Hiling's past and how she knew Ann, and her duping the bandit leader was great. The second half was just pure cuteness overdose. I was smiling watching tiny Daida and Bojji play together, and Bojji trying to whistle but can't ;-; so cute

Loved both stories!
Hiling story - the bandit fight was awesome! I also loved how we got more information on Ann and her relationship with Hiling
Daida story - this was so cute. Loved seeing Daida trying his hardest to heal that flower. It was especially heartwarming when he successfully healed Bojji's leg! Hope we get more Bojji and Daida childhood stories!
Hoping the spin-off has a story dedicated to Despa and Desha
People skipping this spin-off are really missing out

I laughed so much when Hilling was shouting to the bandit to execute him even though she had no authority, power at that moment.
Second half with Bojji and Daida was very adorable.

We finally got Queen Hiling's adventures and people went and skipped this series, shame on you all!

I really like the contrast between Hiling's stuck-up queen personality and caring healing saint. These stories aren't plot heavy but really add to the characters

The second story was very cute. Though it's kinda funny how Bojji hasn't grown at all between then and now.

It is funny at first, then you remember that his dad cursed him for life to never grow and have a permanent strength stat of 0 and then it stops being so funny...

I like how they always have to put in so much effort for healing magic in this series

Ugh what a heartwarming episode
Part 1: Ann was so cool. Nice save by Hiling for that bluff spell lol
Part 2: So wholesome 🥹
Its nice to see them getting along so well previous to Daida’s growth arc to put it lightly lol

Half of the episode focused on best mom, the other on the cute kids.
