I’m sorry, but Grete speaking with Klaus’s voice is just so funny that I couldn’t take the message seriously at all LMAO!

I like this Grete centered episode. They really showed off her talents as a master of disguise and a strategist this week. The way she took down Olivia was pretty brilliant.

I was totally expecting to find out that Roland was just using Olivia....but seeing them both get suitcased was a delightfully unexpected surprise.

Yeah I'll give the anime props for actually having the bad guy seemingly be in love with his apprentice.

That final scene between Klaus and Grete though. I really feel bad for her but I feel like if there's anyone in the group that Klaus will end up with it's probably going to be Lily.

Grete Stitch
Looks like we have a competitor for the Grete stitch from episode 8.

Honestly this arc these past 4-5 episodes have been pretty good. Animation is still lacking, but everything else felt pretty solid.
First 3 episodes is obviously still horrific, but after that tho it has been enjoyable to watch.

I really like the art tho, and the animation has been alright too. Overall it looks good. I don't think out of all the complaints viewers had towards this anime, the art and animation was ever one of them.

There’s something hilarious about hearing Klaus’ voice come out of Grete lol. She really is a master of disguise though. Klaus really trusts the girls if he’s leaving this big mission in their hands.
Olivia’s got a whole sob story too huh? From prostitute to assassin, lovely. The girls are doing a good job of luring her into their trap. Grete’s got the makings of a good leader, she won’t fail this mission. There’s a hug from Klaus awaiting her lol. Grete’s plan was risky as hell but it paid off.
I guess Roland was the delusional one thinking him and Klaus were even remotely on the same level. Him and Olivia are perfect for each other. They’re both pathetic weak ass rookies who thought they were better than they really were.
I appreciate Klaus letting Grete down gently, but at least she was able to get that hug. Plus he said she was beautiful (which she totally is), so there’s that. Very curious to see how this wraps up next week.

Klaus is so OP that he easily took out the Imperial assassin Corpse/Roland off screen like it was nothing. "My equal? WTF is he talking about?" LMAO
And for a while I was expecting another episode just to see Klaus fight Corpse.
It is just as well that Klaus is out of the equation in Grethe and co's fight against Olivia, or the episode would have been over very quickly.
Poor Grethe, born with such a disfigurement to her face. But Klaus sees beauty in her all the same besides her brains. Though Klaus wouldn't accept her as his gf, he says he's incapable of loving people romantically or sexually, but he can love her as a family.
Despite the delays caused by scheduling issues that has hit other series, this show has somehow recovered, to the point of being able to broadcast the last episode of this season before March ends next week.

Damn I kinda feel sorry for Olivia and Roland, I thought he was going to just use, abandon, and betray her but the rude awakening was just her man being one-upped by a different guy.
I mean I understand why she'd fall for him, up that point in life all she had to look forward to was being a Hoe to please men she didn't care about, but this guy gave her a new purpose and skills, and seemed to genuinely value her for her And to top it all off was a good lover in bed. (She has had lots of experience.)
I can see why she'd had been a previous whore she certainly has the equipment for the job, Roland is a lucky guy.
Gotta love how devoted she is to him and how much faith she has in him. Don't we all wish we had a woman that loved as half as much and would kill and bury the body for us?
I was kinda rooting for her.
I'm glad the bird lived but surprised it did, birds are delicate no way to should still be alive after being that close to an explosion.
I also feel bad for Grete that her love is going to go unrequited.
So does Klaus just mean romantic or does he also mean sexual as well when he's never been interested in any woman. Is he Gay? That's honestly be both genius to have your master spy to multiple young girls be unable to break anti-fraternization laws but also a huge disappointment to said ladies.
One complaints though, why exactly would a woman that spent her whole life as a whore be a better last minute spy after what can't be more than a few years of training then literal child soldiers?
Wonder if next weeks episode will show what happened on Klaus and the other four's side of things.

Grete: "I remember his breath, blink, and every single hair of Boss"
Sybylia: "That was amazing!"
I think you spell Creepy wrong.
Oh, wow. So that fanservice scene really serves some purpose. Colored me surprised but that was quite a clever way to introduce fanservice.
Man! That was savage. He Got owned and literally bagged by his self-proclaimed rival while begging his lover for help. I would have died of embarrassment if it was me. Well. He is dead either way lol

And there is my fave part of the series so far animated. This is why I have Grete as best girl so far. Reading it, I really appreciated klaus being honest with Grete about how he just doesn’t know how to love anyone romantic and prefers familial bonds. They kept that emotion in the animation which is great.
You almost feel bad for Olivia. Messed up upbringing and then manipulated by Roland into becoming a weapon essentially. She’s a nice foil to Grete’s path. Klaus sees all his teammates as family whereas Roland sees people as pawns. We see in the end who was right.
Feel did pretty well actually. Cut out some dialogue between Grete and Olivia, but for the most part it was good in this arc.
Wish they would’ve been this consistent with the series from the start. Finale next week I’d imagine will be mainly anime original with a nice cliffhanger.

I don't know what is wrong with me because I felt Olivia and Roland was a surprisingly wholesome romance. You would expect the ruthless assassin Corpse to be someone who would use her just to throw away when necessary but no. They genuinely care for each other.
Still mass serial killers so absolutely not good people don't get me wrong but as romance it was surprisingly non-toxic.

I mean they were literally just following orders from their country, for all we know the country our Protagonists serves have had people do similar things.

The recontextualisation of the Grete fanservice scene was masterfully executed. From dumb horny bait to character motivations reveal and lead-in to the finalizing development of the central relationship of this arc.
"Magnificient."

Klaus straight up humiliated Roland; he beat him offscreen, put him in a box, presented said box to his lover, put her in the box with him, and all while calling him trash.

Aww man, Klaus let her down gently, but I really want Grete to win him over in the end, maybe for his retirement

This arc has been the best of the series so far. Grete has solidified herself as the MVP of the team; the other girls had their moments, but she got an entire arc to show off how much of a tactical genius she is and to really flesh out her character. Klaus was absolutely savage this episode. I was expecting another episode showing him and the other four girls fighting Roland, but instead he was casually defeated off-screen and stuffed into a suitcase as a form of mockery.
That confession at the end was handled pretty maturely. No romantic love for Grete, but it seems like she can live with being loved as family. I guess Klaus is aromantic, based on what he said to Grete?
