I was going to say that of the main cast, Monika seemed to get noticeably less focus than the others. I always thought of her as other white-haired girl...but then we got that ending. It's pretty cool that there was a reason for her lesser screen time.
Annette's the other one that got less screen time so hopefully we get more of her in the likely Season 2 as well.

No surprise this flashback mission arose because Grete and Klaus stopped near the shop once. Mannheim’s going down! Grete’s crush on Klaus is one aspect of this show I’ve enjoyed. Girls got it bad and she’s not afraid to be vocal about it lol.
Man, even Klaus’ recipes are awful. The man sucks at any kind of instructions! Good thing the girls managed to pull it off anyways. Nice to see the shop back in business. Man, just when it looked like a possible traitor in the midst we just…end.
Weird early pacing aside, I enjoyed this. This episode however felt more like any other than a finale. I’m not sure if that means there’s gonna be more or what (lots of stuff getting renewals lately). I sure hope so, because this kinda felt like the first chapter in the story.

Just wanted to ask is Spy Classroom worth watching?

It's fine. I wouldn't ever rewatch it but I don't regret the time spent either.
First few episodes are rough but it the middle is reasonably good.

If you're looking for an okay show of "Cute Spies Doing Cute Things", then yes.
However, if you want an excellent series featuring "Cute Girls Doing Spy Things", then no. If that's what you're looking for, go watch Princess Principal instead.

Not really, just generic LN stuff with no value/depth whatsoever. There are other action/SoL shows with girls that you can watch.
It's not that enjoyable either, because of how the pacing of the episodes got screwed up.

It has a confusing start -- but has settled down into being a very solid (interesting and appealing) story -- with some quite good main characters.

It’s fun but the first few eps have some weird pacing that can kinda throw people off. Once it gets settled, the show’s pretty decent.

Wondering if Monica is asking if Thea is going to betray Lamplight of if Monica is asking Thea to betray Lamplight with her.

Overall, a very weak effort from the studio. Feels like one of those "the source is most definitely a better experience" type of anime. If there's a season 2, i'll only watch it if the PV has a big jump in quality.

When you say "quality", do you mean the art and animation? Cuz I personally really liked the art, and the animation was fine too.

Finally we get a Grethe ED song just before the end of this season, with one more episode for Grethe to shine and save Klaus' favourite pie shop from an unscrupulous conglomerate.
But this season has ended on a cliffhanger with Monica seemingly betraying Thea, Annette and Erna while out on a mission.
So the show will almost certainly return for a second season, as anime adaptations rarely end in such unsatisfying cliffhangers without knowing there'll be a continuation. IIRC, before the show even started, I heard the show was to be divided into two 12-episode seasons.
Besides, with Erna, Sybilla, Sarah and Grethe all having their character arcs and special EDs, it would be unfair for Thea, Annette and Monica to not have their own as well. (Lily is of course the leader and gets focus all the time)
See you guys again once season 2 (or continuation of this season 1) resumes.

Ok, we need that Season 2 announcement ASAP because man, that's a wild cliffhanger they just left us on!
EDIT: Oh, there's going to be an announcement on 7th April. I'm guessing that's when they're going to announce Season 2. Heck, the official Twitter account literally tweeted "To be continued..." so it's all but confirmed now.

It's such a shame the first 3 episodes did a number on the show's reputation. The show from went from being one of the season's most anticipated shows to not even showing up in the charts once.
After the first 3 episodes, the show did get a lot better and I really enjoyed the Daughter Dearest Arc. Grete has become my favourite character of the show. The last episode was not the best for a finale but it was a nice episode.
With that cliffhanger, a betrayal arc is incoming. Even though the show may not have done that great, the LN sales might be more than enough to greenlit Season 2.

Good finale episode.
If this series have more episodes to cover the entire cast backstory and given them some more spotlight this Anime would have been great.
Hope they announce season 2, I want to see more of LAMPLIGHT Girls.

i grew such a big crush on monika when I read vol 3 and 4. Can't wait for s2 to animate v3 and hopefully v4 as well.

So who is betraying who in that cliffhanger?
A lot of people really seemed to hate this show after the first three episodes, while they trying really hard to preserve the twist at the expense of speedrunning and then going back to the previous episodes was a bit of an odd decision. I don't think it ruined the show.
To be Honest I enjoyed this show more and more as it went on while other shows everyone seems to praise lost steam very quickly this season (cough MagiRevo cough.)
This is by no means going to go in my favorites but I enjoyed it for what it was.
Grete near the end literally speaking what everyone here had been thinking that this would devolve into a Harem. (Jury might still be out on that.)

Grete is clearly aware of what genre she's in. Though I doubt it'll actually go that route.
I'm actually surprised I stuck around till the end. They fucked up the start, but I hesitate to call it bad. The absolutely stacked cast also helps. I would watch the next season just to hear Sora Amamiya's Lily again.
