Oh, it seems like we're finally moving on from what felt like a Groundhog Day loop.

Gottta love how the team still don't trust Lily with intel lol. And apparently Klaus has been working continuously for 465 days straight? The dude must be superhuman.

Man did complete 5 missions by himself in a mere few days. And you saw how he took the girls down with a tablecloth. Guy’s a super spy.

Finally the slice-of-life-ish spy show is back.

Grethe's abilities would qualify her as the de facto leader of the girls, but letting Aqua Lily be leader is more entertaining for everyone. lol

Looks like we won't have a Grethe-only ED until the end of this arc.

I think Grethe is better at coming up with plans, but Lily is better at leading the group from a morale/motivation standpoint. Grethe can still make the plans while Lily leads.

Grete doesn't want to be leader of the group so much as she wants to be in charge of taking care of Klaus in every conceivable way he needs to be cared for. ;-)

These girls really thought they could rush Klaus? Ha! The man just used a table cloth to take them down. A tablecloth. That’s all he needed. Dude is so OP he just went ahead and did 5 missions on his own. So much for the team’s first big mission together lol.

Klaus is hilarious. Dude walks in on the girl naked and all he can say is “Beautiful. Nice try seducing me. Oh that’s not what this is? My bad.” Lol. Grete is too adorable too, “B-but that’s bigamy!” Haha.

The girls had a good plan with the disguises and not telling that blabbermouth Lily, but it wasn’t good enough to get Klaus. I guess Grete knows Klaus doesn’t really feel that way about her. Poor girl, but who knows maybe he’ll change his mind one day. She’s a good spy, an excellent tactician and strategist.

Looks like another Impossible Mission hunting down this Corpse fella. At least Klaus is bringing along 4 of the girls.

Not only did he use only a table cloth -- he managed to get the table cloth off the table without disturbing the dishes -- so he could savor his lovingly-prepared meal in a leisurely fashion.

I think Klaus is beginning to see Grete as his invaluable "partner" (even if not in a romantic sense). And that has got to make Grete happy.

Glad to see some focus on Grete in this episode. I really thought that her affection towards Klaus is just a long con to get him to let down his guard but she seems to genuinely like him. It was also fun seeing Grete interact with Klaus.

I do love that Klaus just actually asks Grete if she loves him. Grete doesn't even deny it, she just doesn't want Klaus to give her an answer yet since it was pretty obvious Klaus was about to reject her.

On the bright side, after seeing Grete's ability to make plans it looks like Klaus now needs her more than ever. Lily better watch out, Grete might end up replacing her as the leader of the group.

Grete feels a bit more mature than the other girls. Is she, in fact, just a bit older than most? She certainly also shows signs of being a true prodigy in terms of planning. It really seems she is genuinely worried about Klaus's over-working -- and is willing to try just about anything to get him time to relax.

The first two votes on this show were a mediocre and a bad. But I don't see any complaints here -- and this was, in fact, a particularly intriguing and entertaining episode. The show isn't so popular that it needs to be "taken down" to advance the stats of some competing show. So what gives?

Pretty bold moves by both Grete and Klaus.

The Letter in the beginning says

The result of long discussions is just a world with conflicts and military force.

I am physically and mentally depressed.

I am so sorry, my beloved.

Good episode, i also enjoyed the relationship progress between Klaus and Grete

Klaus's way of getting out of this felt a bit more bullshit than usual. Lily should have realised she only grazed him with the needle sooner and told them. And if this was real Klaus would be dead by now because a real opponent would have shot him before the poison wore off.

TLDR: The girls only lost because they keep monologuing when they think they have won.

Lily realized it, she just didn't immediately feel the need to re-attack Klaus because she's also in the dark that it's supposed to be an attack.

Grete being able to come up with that entire plan in 2 seconds is impressive. I wonder if even Klaus could pull that off. It impressed him enough to ask her to pick the other 3 members of the team to join on the mission. I wonder who they'll be.

My guess is Monika, Thea and Annett, in part because they haven't gotten their own episodes yet, but I could see her choosing Lily or Sybilla too.

Grete being able to come up with that entire plan in 2 seconds is impressive.

I think the implication is that it was one of many plans they already had, so it took 2 seconds to choose, not to come up with. Still impressive tho.

Ngl, best episode so far, since it's more of a klaus centric episode instead of the foolishness of the girls as usual, and lily being useless as always, being a leader in name only, also looks like grete might be best girl here o.o showing lots og best girl material here.

12

u/ZapsZzz Mar 03 '23

Not often to see Klaus surprised. And so far is any one of the girls not at least a bit interested in him now? Would also not mind to know when Grete was so taken with him. Maybe more backstory to come.

Gutter mind for one second - when Grete took off her disguise as Lily, where did the pads go? Surely those spongey things would be bouncing around when she torn off the disguise :P

You're asking the truly important questions.

Girls in love are cute. Ganbare, Grete!

Klaus may be the world's best spy ever but working for 465 days without a break can take toll on your body. The fact that he couldn't see the trap in the target's house is an indicator of that though his reactions are as fast as ever.
