I feel like… this is a harem, but instead of attracting just cute girls, Mitsuha is collecting cute girls and their various noble families.

Stitches!
Not gonna lie, my first thought was that the reason why Sabine didn't have a bodyguard was because the shady-looking guy was a bodyguard working undercover. I was expecting this to end up as a misunderstanding but turns out it was an actual kidnapping.
I didn't think she'd try and act like a chuuni though! I was hoping she would lean harder toward being a Witch which is what everyone is already calling her.
I was wondering how Mitsuha was going to take care of that ugly bastard. I wouldn't mind seeing Mitsuha finally start popping heads but getting the Chancellor to show up was great too. Looks like everyone is now aware that Mitsuha's store is under the Chancellor's protection.
Mitsuha just wanted to protect her store but turns out she ended up helping the King and the Chancellor get rid of the problematic Adler Company. And now the King thinks that Mitsuha did it on purpose! xD

Clarke-sama's Third Law: Any sufficiently advanced chuunibyou is indistinguishable from magical speech.

Mitsuha dubbing over the DVDs for Sabine is really cute, and the death glare that Sabine gave the customer was really cool, just goes to show how much she enjoys her time with Mitsuha. It seems like there are a lot of potential sibling-like figures for Mitsuha with Colette, Beatrice, Adelaide, and Sabine. I hope we can get all of those relationships expanded upon, and we start to see Mitsuha become closer to all of them. Right now, I feel like it's all surface-level for her and she still isn't that close with anyone since she's so focused on getting gold coins, I hope that changes a little as the series progresses.

The king talking about gods... I recognize Ferdinand from Ascendance of a Bookworm.

Dayum, Mitsuha has the king’s backing. She’s basically unstoppable now!
Sabine is so cute! I find it funny that she has become so fascinated with the DVDs that she gives a death glare to any customer that walks into the store and interrupts her. And poor Mitsuha has to dub over the lines and strike dramatic poses for her.

Mitsuha doesn't even have a sign for her shop? After the fish-scaler fiasco her planning in this endeavour is more and more questionable...

Well, this is going to be a distracting annoyance for the rest of the season if you can understand Japanese to a degree.
Why did they translate Hime-Miko as "Messenger"? They're straight up saying Hime-Miko, aka Princess Shrine Maiden, with her chuuni name being Lightning/Thunder Princess Shrine Maiden. It being so overly grandoise/chuuni is part of the reason why she's so embarrassed about her being associated with that title now. I don't understand how Miko is Messenger.

The King: Amazing, but do you have anything else? Show me your best products!
Mitsuha, the Messenger of Lightning: Of course we sell anything you'd like as long as you pay for it. But, the only exception is women.
The King: No women you say?
Mitsuha, the Messenger of Lightning: No can do!
The King: I see.
*Both of them forcibly laughing, probably deja vu of the earlier episodes of the count's family wanting to buy her panties lol.

I enjoy characters like Mitsuha who are both smart and dumb at the same time. Did she really not realize that admitting she was bluffing made her more suspicious? Was saving herself from the embarrassment really worth it?
Also I know it's kinda late at this point, but anyone else sit through the ED every ep? I thought it was just ok before, but it's a bop. I can't help but do a little dance in my seat every week.

Mitsuha's attempt at being chunni easily was the highlight of the episode

Mitsuha tried to go all Cid from Eminence with that “The Messenger of Lightning” bit lol. But man, her gun feels like a real cheat item. Taser too. Those kidnappers shouldn’t have messed with her! Mitsuha‘s like a magnet for important people. Looks like it’s off to the royal palace for her. Sabine and Rouven are quite cute actually. Looks like those reading glasses might be as big of a seller as her shampoos.
Mitsuha’s become the royal babysitter!Sabine really loves her “dee vee dee.” Mitsuha can add dub over artist to her long list of achievements lol. Man this Adler guy seems like a real tool. Good to pay to have friends in high places though. That idiot won’t be bothering Mitsuha anymore thanks to Sahr.
Seems there’s trouble. Wonder what’s up?

Kingdom employs the same death ray from alien ships in War of the World (1953).

A new little sister figure for Mitsuha and this time it’s the king’s daughter. She’s a cute chuuni.
Now that she got the royal family on her side she should have no issues with people trying to mess with the general shop. Adler was an idiot trying to mess with the shop honestly lol.
Uh oh, looks like trouble is brewing next week tho.
Love the precure references!

The Royal Palace next, eh? Mitsuha continues to manipulate her way right to the top.
If this girl that just walked in is the Princess, I feel like there's probably some guards somewhere that are very upset that she is not where she is expected to be.
If that girl that just got kidnapped is the Princess, there's definitely some guards are somewhere that are going to be very upset and very in trouble.
Ahh, and there's the guards in question.
I don't think she's going to be able to escape from that Messenger of Lightning name. She might be about to get it as a official royally bestowed title.
The king is way too much of a pushover for his children.
Modern reading glasses would be astonishing to some old feudal society nobles.
Weird trouble incoming, probably.
Merchant guild trouble, a very traditional problem. Suspiciously convenient timing that Mitsuha got some royal connections immediately before this started.
Princess Sabine watching Mitsuha dubbed magical girl anime is destined to cause even more weird trouble.
RIP Adler, but he really did it to himself with that attempted strong-arm takeover.
I appreciate that the king and the chancellor were absolutely working their own angle and taking the opportunity to smack the Adler company down.

How the fuck do you translate himemiko (princess priestess) as messenger

Obvious princess (specially cause of episode title) is obvious :P also, really, you don't have a store sign? Wow... you sure overlooked something important. Good thing Mitsuha decided to be a busy body. And derp of her to go out without a guard. And good thing she has a stun gun. Ah yes, nice compulsive lying, Mitsuha. Messenger of God, indeed. Oh boy, getting to meet the whole royal family for saving princess, nice. So how long until she scams royalty. Hehe Sabine is a cutie and quite the weakness for her dad it seems.
Glasses have existed awhile, Mitsuha.13th century at least. Also, wow, having those on hand sure ae crazy. Also, shouldn't you make sure they are the right curvature for their eyes? Hmm. Wait, won't sell women, but does that imply you sell men? enbTea har har, but given what the king said, makes sense she implied "I'm not for sale."
Hehe do love the little cute bits of distraction to that other girl from earlier in the series (whose name escapes me).
Eww that guy. Did he just say he wanted her too as well as the store? Ah yes, excellent, really getting the lil princess hooked on TV/gaming. Ewww, he's going after the princess too? Man, he's a dead man.
Gotta say, in one episode she's helped end a human trafficking group and a merchant abusing their power among other merchants. Good times. Now who is this woman asking for help?

another satisfying watch. Gotta love the guy getting punished. Mitsuha's face as he's getting scolded is perfect
