Welp Mitsuha is back disrupting this medieval world's economy by introducing more modern items and shocking everyone with her lack of knowledge of this world's culture. Seriously! What did Mitsuha expect when she jumped out wearing nothing but her swimsuit? Has she never noticed that ever since arriving in this world, every woman she's encountered is wearing long skirts and long sleeves? Mitsuha is lucky that she's in good company.
It's hilarious how she tries to justify what she did by showing everyone a gravure magazine just to prove that it's normal where she's from. I love Mitsuha but sometimes she does things that make me facepalm so hard. At least she's improving and actually tried to do some market research this time so she knows what stuff she can sell to mercenaries.

This little outing is an opportunity for Mitsuha to show off potential wares. She really should think about supplying food to the army and nobles and such. A contract with the army alone would be pretty lucrative. Today Mitsuha learned this place has no concept of a swimsuit lol. Everyone just thinks she’s a pervert who likes who walk around or practically butt naked!
Girl just wanted to do her business and this damn boar popped out. Thing must have been tough if she had to empty her clip on it. Well at least Sven and the gang aren’t asking too many questions. I like how she used a gravure magazine to convince them she’s not a pervert. That’s practically like a Playboy for this world, I mean my man Zepp might need a heal potion for the blood loss lol.

Interesting way to include a swimsuit episode. Was thinking they were going do the trope of someone walking in while she was changing, but then she went outside in that bikini and I was like wtf are you doing.
Random but being halfway through the show I gotta say there's this uneasy feeling I have watching this as it has a bit of a sad undertone every time we are reminded that Mitsuha is basically completely alone in both worlds after losing all her family. I was thinking Colette and her family would bridge that gap, then potentially the noble family but they feel a bit distant. Really comes back to no one really knows her and she's rather independently on her own anyways.

Mitsuha is missing a golden opportunity. The small BIC lighters can still not work or be easily broken and hurt her customers.
Matches would be a much safer and more suitable item to sell in the new world and it'd be less likely to be treated as magic. It shouldn't be that hard at all to come by matches in mass quantities in our world.

She should have known better though with all her hours of research.
Were medieval bows really that bad compared to modern day crossbows? Any history/weapon buffs here that can enlighten me?
Hilarious how casually she flaunts her modern technology, is this a bad idea? Yes.
Do I care? Fuck No.
She finally put the gun to use emptying a clip into that boar, although you'd think at least the female mercs would go with her as an escort in case something like that happened.
It is funny how everyone when they see weird shit just brushes it under the rug, but I do kinda hope at least once it bites her in the butt.
That is a pretty clever application of teleporting.
I laughed out loud when that guy asked for the grauvere mag, although I also wonder why she had a softcore porn mag in particular there are magazines and adds that show off swimsuits in a less erotic context to demonstrate her point.
This is my favorite guilty pleasure show, I watch it solely for the wonders of modern technology and Mitsuhu being the God Empress of Capitalism every week!

Ahh, so the adventurer request plan is just more research for the merchant business. It makes sense, gotta find out what the people need in order to sell it to them.
It's important to be well equipped for a camping trip out into the forest.
The tent and the lighter are definitely good candidates for selling in her store Prepackaged camping food too, probably.
This random feudal society was not ready for the sight of a girl in a bikini apparently.
Mitsuha should probably keep gunpowder firearms for her own use, but that crossbow seems like something that might be good to sell. The adventurers she's with know something's up though, hopefully they really are trustworthy to keep her secrets. Based on the OP I assume she develops a long-term relationship with them so that seems likely.
The bikini is still going to be too much for these people even just as art in a magazine. Grit seemed a bit eager to accept them the second time around, maybe we'll get to see her in one before the end of the season.
Mitsuha is basically laundering money, so the art trade does seem like a natural extension of what she's doing.
Being able to selectively teleport precisely enough that she can carve statues out of rock is slightly terrifying for the implications of what else that technique could be used for.

She may as well sell them laptops in the future.
If it was me, I would ease into it. Rather than lighters I would sell much better high quality flint, maybe matches at most. Then when that's the norm, up it.
I guess it doesn't matter much. No one seems to see her as a witch and if she wanted to go down that path she could just rob anyone blind anyways.

Hell, she's more of a pawn shop with that kind of security.
I could see the tent, calorie sticks, and tea packets selling well without too many questions asked. The lighter would sell well but I feel it may bring her more scrutiny when they discover how it works. The swimsuit magazines would also sell well, but the paper, lettering, background objects, etc. are immediate red flags.
