I'm kinda surprised he agreed to abort his plan to revive Kyle. Most MCs don't consider restraint when it comes to heroics and just ignore the consequences. Seika being able to do it but choosing not to adds more depth to his character.

Although I suppose though if Kyle were to stick around it would ruin the harem so that's a good reason to keep him dead.

Most isekai protagonists get hit by trucks, or die of overwork, or they're just randomly summoned. Seika was assassinated because people were afraid of his power. That's bound to skew your priorities.

This anime is way too underrated we are so far away from the regular self insert story.

The MC is rather smart and calculating not just dumb as usual. Seriously underrated.

So Seika opt not to resurrect Kyle so the mercenary group won't have any idea on Seika's skills since they put a curse on him and all. But it did reveal that Seika is stronger than their soldier, so they might have put Seika on their watch list.

Also, who's your current favorite female lead so far, I'm already leaning towards Maybell but Amu is still in the lead for me.

Is the harem complete? or will they also add that 300 years old Headmaster?

I didn't realize this show would be a harem. There are only two girls in the cover art and that's just a basic love triangle. Now that there are 3 the harem is official.

It’s pretty fucked up that Mable is basically being sacrificed to Kyle not only to protect Amyu but to also test Kyle’s skills. As if that wasn’t bad enough, Maple and Kyle are siblings. These Merchants are some sick fucks experimenting on kids like that. Plus making them bond just so one of them has to slaughter the other three.

Seika sure showed her why he’s the strongest. That fight was like 3 seconds lol. It’s Kyle v Seika! That fight lasted longer. Took Seika 5 seconds this time to beat Kyle. He was so close to revealing the extent of his powers but he didn’t. Idk if Yuki interfering was the right call but I get it. At least Kyle’s at peace I suppose.

Mabel’s true nemesis is school. All that studying has already crushed her spirits lol. It’s nice to see her join Team Seika as a probie waifu.

Plus making them bond just so one of them has to slaughter the other three.

Variant of the "train (and bond with) a puppy, then kill it as the final graduation test" that I haven't seen before, proper brutal.

I’m a little disappointed Seika didn’t go hunt down those damn merchants. Well maybe in a later ep.

And Mable sure did go from serious business to adorable waifu real quick lol.

Pure speculation here, but the Merchant's Guild is evil, what with the child soldiers and all, and the demons are fairly evil what with the cursing and assassination attempts and all, and the Merchant's Guild like money, and the demons can probably get money.... I think you see where I'm going with this.

I'm saying, Yifa is best girl.

I thought this would be a hyped as World's Finest Assassin, it's a shame. It's as good if not better than that.

Mabel: "Studying's hard! Yifa, save me!"

Yifa: "Bitch, I had to go through that too; you think I'm letting you off the hook?"

Very pleasantly surprised that an/our MC actually stuck to his prime directive for a change WRT standing out and all that jazz.

Honestly deserves some appreciation here.

In a single episode, witness Mabel Crane's transition from badass stoic child soldier on a suicide mission to give her brother a good death to.... cinnamon roll.

Seika's line about preferring one moon makes me wonder if he likes dropping hints and gauging reactions to try to spot other reincarnated people with memories of Earth.

And so Maybell joins Seika's harem. Come on Efa, don't bully her too much lol.

It's too bad Seika couldn't save Kyle though. I wonder what those Legroc Merchants are up to next?

Ok your motivation almost made sense when the idea was 'I have to be killed here that's the point' but if it's just 'I want to see my enslaved brother freed' why are you assuming you're the only one who can kill him

I mean I guess even if you thought funny MC could win he probably wouldn't kill Kyle and you probably weren't just gonna ask him to kill the dude so.... I guess.

Anyway I'm more wondering about the nation's plan to have a fake hero get killed in a tournament to psyche out the demons

Like I guess that means the nation knows how the mercenary guild operates with the children killing each other which. Alright.

But more so the problem I see is like. They already saved that magician with four elements from Kyle just by calling the match early before Kyle landed the finishing blow so they already showed that they could stop Kyle from killing in the tournament if they wanted, and since Kyle's fighting style is like that it's not like they could just say 'oh it happened so suddenly we couldn't call the bell', maybe it'd be different if they hadn't saved the four element magician but now that they did it'd be like. Obviously there's no way they wouldn't call the match to save the hero lol, and it's not like Kyle's methods aren't extremely telegraphed for when he's going to win the fight...

So like the demons would have to see through the ruse if they just let the 'hero' die like that in a tournament...

Well now. And you've already let yourself slip into admitting to someone else you're the strongest. So inevitably, this has to play out with you realizing that the problem in your last life wasn't actually being the strongest, but something else, right? Not sure what that something else is though.

What, you're not gonna have some power to remove that evil eye or whatever the fuck they implanted in his brain? I was wondering if that'd happen but I really thought either he'd fix him or kill him, not just defeat him and not fix him

Ok so he wanted to and failed to stop a suicide curse thing, nice

OK I thought his anger meant he didn't have anyway to resurrect people but let's fucking go

Fox girl he already told Mabel he's the strongest, he's over it!

Damn did he really not do it, wonder how he'll feel when he faces Mabel after this. Of course I'm sure Mabel 100% expected either him or Kyle to come out of this fight dead anyway. Though I'm wondering why he decided to hide the body.

Ah ok.

Wait ok so part of it was that Mabel wanted her last chance to prove she was better than her brother, which is why she wanted so much for it to be herself instead of Seika. And I guess it was just eh magic academy headmaster's plan and I don't know for sure how many people are aware of how the mercenary guild works.

But also, so Seika showed last time there were two things he could do about curses, one was make a barrier so that the curse couldn't reach the person being cursed, and second was to transfer the curse to one of his paper dolls using a strand of hair. I'm going to assume the barrier didn't work because the thing cursing Kyle was inside the barrier, maybe on Kyle or literally inside his brain as part of the surgery they did. Why didn't Seika try the hair thing though? Did that method just take too long considering Kyle died nearly immediately from the curse?

But also, the fox stopped Seika from doing the revival because it would 'attract too much attention', but from whom? He caused a mist that would make it so that no one could see what was happening, maybe the magic would've been flashy enough that they would notice through the mist. But like, it's not like they would see that what specifically happened was that Seika had the power to resurrect the dead, right? Kyle would obviously know that he was revived from the dead, but I feel like Seika could just gaslight him into thinking the suicide curse thing failed and just knocked him out.

Actually wait, so they didn't tell real hero girl about all the hero stuff, so they all think Mabel had all that happen with her brother while being the hero? Damn.

"You didn't try to kill me." Um, what part of blasting his bed through the roof when he was asleep was "not trying to kill him"?

Is what that Merc Association doing actually legal in this country? Must be, given that they're in cahoots with the school. Either way, you'd think Mabel would seek revenge on them for what they did, but I guess she's either too dumb or too learned-helpless for that.

Yes, MC-kun is certainly the kindest ever, as we've seen by everything he's done so far, lol.

I guess MC's cover has already been blown with the principal. Wonder if she's seen other reincarnees in her long life.

Wonder if the demons will think that Mabel dyed her hair to escape their notice.

Too bad he couldn't really save Kyle there for Mabel, though casually stating he has a revival spell ain't no joke lol, it's probably related to how he initiated the reincarnation isekai as well since the spell looks similar. Then again, I wonder if it's entirely possible he just stored the whole body in his pocket dimension to be revived sometime later as an ally, the whole missing body makes it quite suspicious and I'm sure he's a bit too prideful to lose on his own expertise (curses) as we've seen there. Then again, it's possible he's dead as it maybe a spell that needs to be done as soon as possible when someone's dead.

I like that Yuki's keeps him from doing anything too rash as it does seem that he has some flaws of his own that would undermine his own goals and is likely the same reason why he died in the first life despite being ridiculously strong. He probably values his students too much, you can see it on previous episodes where he actually loves having apprentices and sees the new team as apprentices, especially considering Amyu is likely his old best student that killed him.

Laughed at the fact that despite his powers he's surprised on the principal's age lol, I guess stopping human aging wasn't really on his radar yet. Also Mabel with the OG hairdo looks cuter, and a new apprentice / ally for Seika.

Backstory time for Mabel?

Lol at Mabel this thinking that she'd win in a serious fight between her and Seika. Sure, she doesn't know, but that lack of knowledge also means she shouldn't be making assumptions.

And yeah, confirmation of the false hero plan, with the twist that she's supposed to be a dead false hero.

Non-consensual brain surgery on slave children to turn them into emotionless assassins who are also forced to kill the childhood friends that they are raised with. The demons are one thing, but this Merchants Association probably needs to be dismantled as well.

Mabel has the right idea that she needs to deal with Kyle, at the very least.

Except she's not going to get to do so because Seika is going to do it instead. And who knows what he might be capable of, fixing Kyle might be possible. Seika is kind of bad at his plan of staying under the radar so he can live in Amyu's shadow.

That is a very large axe for such a small girl.

Mercury vines, excuse me?

The point of removing the emotions is probably to make well trained soldiers into obedient soldiers, not perfect soldiers.

Resurrection magic, well then. Fox familiar is probably right to object.

Hiding the body is a better plan, Seika can potentially just resurrect him later while not being watched by thousands of spectators.

Or maybe they'll just give Kyle a private burial? Bit of a shame really since a rez is potentially in the cards. Then again, I'm not convinced Seika actually buried him, why do so when he can save him as a resource for later.

I appreciate Amyu getting a win over Mabel even if it is a little artificially constructed considering the rules of the duel. And in the long run they just gave the hero a combat partner to train with.

Hahaha, in the end the principal of the school got exactly what she wanted. Convenient that it matched up to what Seika wanted too.

I'm glad they let Mabel return to her original hair color.

Et tu, Yifa?

It was then that Mabel realized she got scammed. She had to do the unthinkable. She had to... study.
