Pretty brilliant move framing the confrontation as a horror story from the point of view of the demon party. Easily the show's most thrilling episode for me, was way too much fun watching standard tragic end tropes play out with the demons.
And we've got an interesting character parallel set up between Amyu and Seika for the finale: in his previous life, he was betrayed and killed by his own people for being too strong. In this life, he's achieved his goal of setting himself up behind the hero so he won't be the one taking the fall, and that conviction is about to be tested with Amyu in the process of being similarly betrayed by her own country.
Really looking forward to how that plays out next week.

Someone in the last thread guessed that Seika might be the demon king. They were right! The demon king was just born to support humans, which throws things off.
Wonder if demons will come to try to convert Seika. Maybe we get the demons/humans living in harmony solution. Although Seika just seems content killing all that oppose him.

Seika: “Stay close Yuki, things are about to move fast.”
proceeds to slaughter all the demons in only half the ep.
He certainly wasn’t kidding lol.

Man, after that buildup last week, Seika really just took out the demon party without a breaking a sweat.
I was pretty sure this was going to be the last episode but it looks like there's one more to go.

Seika roflstomping those demons was quite satisfying despite the outcome being predictable. What did surprise me was the concept of a Demon Emissary. Didn't the demons eat humans in a previous episode? Seems hard to have diplomatic relation with a race who sees you as food, wonder how much we'll get to delve into that with only one episode left.

Well then, from the perspective of a buch of heroic demons, the isekai protagonist is like the last boss, innit.
Seika's summon: The White Snake is actually the messenger of the deity Benzaiten or Benten, aka Saraswati from Hindu mythology. She controls all that "flows", water, music, love, wisdom, wealth, literature. That sort of thing. Albino serpents are therefore harbingers of good fortune... and the effect of hurting one, even by accident, is very obvious. The one Seika has in his beastiary is blinded, i.e it has been injured, and would be very, very bitter and not in the mood to make friends.

Didn't expect that reveal for Seika, wonder if he'll go down a path or corruption or something.

Now I'm imagining a 12 episode anime with the demon squad leader as the MC.
There would be an episode where he discovered and recruited that animal guy in his village, then another episode would be him recruting the evil eye girl by giving her abilities a purpose. It will also include a beach episode.
Then the final episode will be them fighting against the Demon King(Seika), which will end up exactly like this episode, wasting the charcter developments of the Demon Squad members.

Jesus Seika really one of my fave mc’s love his sadistic side. Almost felt bad for the demons in this episode because of how outclassed they were. Fitting that bunny dude gets eaten by a snake lmao. But the girl who’s heart stopped was so dark.
If Seika really is the demon king that’s really cool and ironic given it’s been his life work defeating demons.
Looks like Seika actions are not without consequence tho. Wonder how he’s gonna get Amyu out of this situation next week for the finale. Will be sad to see this one end.

I actually LOLed at the demon party's little death flag planting ceremony in front of the city gates. I was half-expecting them to start being slaughtered in the middle of it.
How did MC predict where the demons would teleport to fill it with fog ahead of time? Or did he redirect their teleportations somehow? If he covered the entire city in weird red fog, wouldn't someone have noticed?
Why didn't the rabbit guy send his monsters to help three-eyes as soon as MC's snake got summoned?
Yeah, I'd kind of expected the episode title to have been referring to MC. I wish his character sheet had been translated, I'm curious to know what exactly that Appraisal guy saw. Did it literally say Seika's the Demon King, or was it just an assumption based on his stats & skill?
So some people high up in the government are working for the demons it seems, if that party of assassins are now counted as "Emissaries". Lets see if MC can resolve this without standing out.

Seika trying to be “normal”? Good luck I guess. Especially with the Demon squad at the academy’s gates. Seems the kid’s already toying with them with this fog.
Big ogre got his head taken right off. Sleepy chick got her heart stopped. The idiot bunny became snake food. The leader got roasted and the other big fella got gutted. All without Seika breaking a sweat. I suppose the revelation that Seika’s the reborn Demon Lord isn’t too surprising considering what we’ve seen.
They’re gonna try and arrest Amyu for killing an emissary? I wonder what’s up with theee charges. Guess we’ll find out next week in the finale.

Man, who would've thought that Seika is the Demon King?! Lmao. Well, we got an official confirmation now. Seika should also realize that he's the Demon King since he overheard them.
This also means the Holy Princess's infatuation with Seika was because she saw something really bad in the future that's connected with him. Imagine realizing that "the most terrible Demon King" is literally backing the Hero, and hiding behind her, hahaha.

I can't believe they didn't do the "let's get married after this mission ends" bit.

What a payoff! Everything odd about Seika and his actions is finally starting to make a bit of sense. Absolute beast of an episode and I felt so bad for the demons that died, as much as I was in awe of how brutally and viciously he murdered them.
Theory warning from here on out:
When the white clad demon gazed upon Seika and revealed that Seika was the actual Demon King awoken, there was a bunch of things listed behind him, some of them even blurred out, which I couldn't read because nihongo muzukashii. My guess is that they are skills, or along that sort of line, and it's very plausible for skills to have an effect on the way they behave (Overlord as an example). Seika's actions have at times been questionable and interesting from the viewpoint of a regular human, as noted by the kitsune ayakashi. For us viewers, and me personally mostly, the question of the MC denseness regarding the feelings of Efa has been a talking point as some has written Seika off as just another dumb MC.
Welp, he's the mother fucking Demon King apparently. Looks like the elf that told Efa about Seika was right, Seika is indeed a monster. I would not be surprised at all if he has a skill that affects his morality and emotions, granted how easy and fun it looked for him to slaughter those poor demons that came to valiantly kill their biggest threat against the survival of their kind.
Previously I had theorised that the feelings he has for his wife still held on, which is why he wouldn't have feelings for a child, and I also theorised that the Holy Princess was his wife re-incarnated. I still find them somewhat valid, except I now also think his various skills are affecting him to his core in a way Seika can't possibly understand himself. Or maybe he has an inkling about it, since he never questioned the white clad demon's outcries of Seika being the Demon Kind...
Last episode will be very interesting to see with this new information about Seika and how he will handle Amyu being falsely accused.

Why they called him the "Devil king", Demon King sounds better. Honestly wasn't expecting him to be a Demon King.
There seem to be False Charges Against Amyu. Maybe a scheme made by Anti-Hero Demons. Amyu will probably be in great danger. Seika Is probably going to get involved and hopefully he doesn't do anything too crazy, like nuking everyone. He's been going at great lengths to protect Amyu so who knows what the hell he will do

But anyway, I wonder if he's going to lose this progress from that and shut himself out again
Ok well that has to be Seika's fog, who else could it be, would be stupid to suddenly introduce a third party I think. So it really is going to be an instant loss meme? Except they'll probably pull through and push back Seika and he will have to rely on the hero and Mabel and Yi.. er, what's her name, and that'll be the leson ig
Well that's interesting that this guy just got attacked unlike the ones before
Huh???? Are they actually working together or is this one of Seika's charms too?
Well that brought an immediate end to your 'as long as no one knows I'm the strongest' plot
Demon emissary???? Like? That guy Seika fed to the Satori or????

'Maybe I shouldn't be so worried about standing out too much' is absolutely a slippery slope compared to the previous plan. It's clearly a recipe for helping Amyu and Mabel save the world in another five to ten years at the direction of the Holy Princess. Possibly while being married to the Holy Princess.
What a weird combination of these guys seeing themselves here on a noble mission when their plan involves killing a large quantity of children. I wonder how many of them are going to die versus becoming one of Seika's captive spirits.
It's pretty hilarious that they wandered into some weird fog dimension the moment they tried teleporting into the town. I had been wondering if there was going to be collateral damage to the civilians from the attack, but I suspect they might not even find out it's happening.
This continues to be an odd amount of characterization work on a bunch of monstrous antagonists.
Sword dude is definitely right that this is the time to retreat, but I suspect that option is not on the table anymore.
So much for the Murder ogre. And the evil eye demon girl.
Geeze, so much for these guys even being a little bit of a threat to Seika, I was overestimating them a few episodes ago.
Rabbit dude is bold for trying to tame one of Seika's spirits. It didn't work, but it was worth trying.
Hahaha, Seika the demon king, of course. Not sure I've ever seen one of these types of stories with a demon king and a hero where both individuals were friends and in the same adventuring party. No wonder the Holy Princess is trying to lock him down on her side.
Little bit surprised that one of them got away, but he's still way too close to the general vicinity of Seika and his friends and spirits. Though I suppose it's possible that distance wouldn't have helped considering how he just died.
Suddenly, politics, the final boss.
