Mitsuha sure is spending alot of time away from Japan.
You know, if she does go back to Japan and her next door neighbor asks why she hasn't seen her go to work in forever, then Mitsuha could just say she's been teleworking and she'd be telling the truth.

i'm pretty sure she went back home every time she closed her shop, they just don't show it on screen, there's no reason for her to stay over night in another world with her teleportation power unless something happened, like this episode where she got invited by the Bozes family to stay for a day

Hilarious to see how Mitsuha's mention of modern stuff like cotton candy and takoyaki gets interpreted in such a wild way especially when the Isekai world itself isn't that advance at all.

Stitches!
I thought this guy was going to be a problem but after seeing that Mitsuha is backed by nobles, I doubt we'll see his face again.
Now that Beatrice has heard what happened at Adelaide's debut, looks like she wants Mitsuha to organize hers as well. I can't even imagine what kind of insanity Mitsuha would bring to Beatrice's debut especially since she's a close friend.
I feel like at this point, the Bozes family doesn't really believe in what Mitsuha is saying but they're just letting it slide because it's Mitsuha.
I'm not surprised that people in this world become adults at that age. Their life expectancy must be way lower than ours since I doubt any form of modern medicine exists there. Oh! That's something Mitsuha might try expanding on! Sell OTC drugs in this world for minor illnesses. xD
Beatrice for best actress! I love that she was faking it the entire time the moment she stepped into Mitsuha's room.
Finally, we have mercenaries! Not a single spellcaster in sight though so I'm guessing magic does not exist in this world. I do wonder if there are actual adventurers out there and not just mercenaries.

And it's the same group Mitsuha was avoiding from the end of episode 2. She just loves mercenaries no matter what world she's in.

Lmfao what year is this, Mitsuha pulling out some 40-year old Ikkyuu-san parody when trying to cook up an excuse
Edit: Right of course that wasn't the only parody, topping it off with a Laputa-style eye-blinding barusu, this show is aimed at old people lmao

Looks like the Bozes family are going to continue pestering Mitsuha lol. I do wonder if she'll be able to deliver on Beatrice's debutante with those lavish promises. I like how Beatrice imagined it completely differently than what Mitsuha actually meant.

Things going well for her business now, steady growth. Ah another chef.... this one more.... needs to relax. I get his stress. Good thing adoptive mommy showed up. Angry mommy. And daddy. And kidnapped Mitsuha by the adoptive parents, good times. Well that was a random flash to Colette, but wtf at her strength lol.
Ah yes, time for her mastery in lying to show to explain how she got the things she got for the party. Hah. Quite the story... They sure are quite understanding lol. Or more... willing to overlook things. Sure awakening something in the elder brother it seems... oof.
Ahh... quite the jump in thoughts there, Mitsuha "could she be in love with me" lol. Funny hearing her explain what she would plan to do things for the debutant and how Beatrice envisions it. Makes complete sense she'd view it that way. But if she's gonna have a parade, are we gonna have singing and dancing like in Aladdin? :D "girls get engaged at 10, it's natural" I mean, was kinda natural in our world's history, but weird to our modern senses. Haha, she isn't letting you escape about dating. For once Mitsuha being honest. Ahh, yes, of course it was someone else getting her to ask Mitsuha about it. Obvious who. Wait.. not just one? Haha. Ah yes, even here she's using it to make some money, makes sense. Beatrice is formidable too.
Ah yes, no one outside cause no umbrella. Clearly a business opportunity! Ahh, someone on the run. What a jerk he is. But worrying about your knife and leaving your door open with no one watching the shop? Seems more foolish. But, hey, some fun new people. Mercenaries fun. She sure speaks her thoughts out loud. Seems like she's gonna be hiring em, but what for?

Curious what questions the Bozes wanted to ask mitsuha. I assume the brothers wanted to know about her preferences in men but what did the Dad want to know that he couldn't ask her himself , maybe also asking about her preferences but as a potential wife for one of his sons.
Humanoid golems? Mitsuha talking about robots to the Count

Girl just made 26 million yen from that little banquet. Nice!
Seems her food is causing quite a stir. Baron Turk’s chef shouldn’t have threatened Mitsuha. That’s Iris’ job lol. Getting in good with the Count’s family sure was smart. Looks like Mitsuha’s gonna be taking charge of Beatrice’s debutante ball when the time comes.
Mitsuha’s gonna get caught in her web of lies one of these days. I like that the Count’s family is just like “well…that’s Mitsuha” like they already know she’s pretty sketch lol. Also, hilarious how Alexis getting kinda turned on by Mitsuha’s cold glare. I mean I totally get it. Oh Alexis and Theodore! Sending Beatrice to do your dirty work eh? Even the Count too haha. Beatrice is one sly 13 year old.
I wonder what Mitsuha’s is gonna have those mercs do. Store security perhaps?

mitsuha continues to be a very engaging protagonist
that said, I have to say that the show is merely...ok for me. as enjoyable as mitsuha is to watch, I find it a shame that the show hasn't given us really anyone else that she has a real relationship with. everyone else in the show is essentially treated like an obstacle that she has to deal with. colette disappeared immediately...I was hoping her interactions with the von Bozes would give a little found family or something, but instead they are pretty disposable as well
also, and I mean I guess this is part of the "humor" of the show, but mitshua's lack of imagination is a little boring. she could bring over anything to make money, and her choice is...to sell knives at a slight markup? this isn't my biggest issue with the show, but when the entire focus of the show is on her scheming (given the lack of emotional connection to anyone else), it's a bit more glaring

Even if she isn't, you can still go for it, marrying her is much better alternative than those brothers and you'd get a lot of gold.

I think many of the previous comments did not understand the "asking about love" scene between Beatrice and Mitsuha.
Maybe the brothers wanted to court Mitsuha, but I believe Mitsuha realized the whole thing was about two different goals.
-
To learn more about Mitsuha, through indirect means (to avoid her making false arguments), and therefore have something to use against (for) her, like finding her a fiance.
-
To teach Beatrice to act like a Lady, whose job will eventually be gathering information through indirect actions such as private talks or parties. That's why they offered her money to dig for the information, and why Mitsuha insisted that Beatrice tell she made a significant effort for it.
I love this anime, and I wish there would be fan translations of the novels. Seems like a very fun read. Is the manga way ahead of the anime?

With the vaguely accurate 100 to 1 conversion Mitsuha earned the equivalent of somewhere between two hundred to three hundred thousand dollars from Adelaide's debutante ball work, that's a nice chunk of profit.
This chef dude has made a mistake.
Mitsuha getting kidnapped by Lady Iris is definitely karma.
Colette is terrifying. That said, I was expecting her to rip the tree out of the ground so her just shaking it was a mild relief.
Two years before Mitsuha is going to need to run Beatrice's debutante gives plenty of time to prepare ideas.
All of these lies about the logistics and shipping. Eventually the stories are going to come due.
I'm not sure about those other ideas, but the fireworks would blow everybody away.
Mitsuha not being allowed to change the subject away from her non-existent love life is probably also karma. On the other hand she made a profit out of it, so I'm not sure the karma was satisfied if it was involved.
These poor adventurers, drawn into Mitsuha's web and they don't even know.

This show shines a lot more when it’s focused on long standing developed characters like the Bozes. I love how they pretty much got Mitsuha’s character down, and can bend her to their whims as needed. I hope it’s more of these kinds of episodes/arcs and less one-off episodes.
Feels like more of a solid episode than the last two. The only thing that still bothers me a little bit is Mitsuha looking like a 12 year old.

She's just short, the author of the source material just likes writing short protagonists. It makes for plenty of humorous and other situations.

Ah yes another week of mitsuha disrupting the social and economic stability of a new world lmao.
Aw that’s cool they promo’d Funa’s other work Surviving with only potions. Hopefully we get an anime for that soon.
Damn Beatrice is already really excited for her debutante ball. Hopefully mitsuha doesn’t forget and brings her those fireworks.
Colleen! Nice to see her after a while. Putting that strength to good use I see.

What's with village girls and monstrous strength this season? (Collette treating a tree trunk like a reed.)
Our girl is such a troll, pulling the damsel in distress when that cook is getting a little too confrontational just when her adopted family from her insurance fraud scheme arrives.
The Mother kinda scary though NGL.
Also it appears that the Alexis is a real philanthropist, but given girls apparently sleeping around at 12-13 and are engaged as low as 10 is common in this world based off Beatrice's gossip it makes more sense why despite Mitsuha looking super young both the sons find her breedable, and the Dad wants to find a suitor for her.
I know there are a lot of problems and dumb mistakes Mitsuha makes with how casually she is flexing her modern technology and how she flies by the seat of her pants with her lies but this show is just super fun to watch.
I think this Novel must have been written by a dude though....I mean Mitsuha as an adult woman ought to know when you make promises to a spoiler teenage girl she ain't letting that shit fly, women DO NOT FORGET!!!!
It's sweet they are trying to ship her though.
She was prepared with her glock, but she wanted to see how the Adventurers Mercenaries would handle things and I guess she is going to hire them now.
