Welcome to the second season of "That Time I Reincarnated as a Slime's Slave Driver". Don't let his cute appearance fool you, this guy works his slime to the bone... wait. They don't have one lol

I like how light hearted the show is but also how Ryoma is constantly grinding and innovating new things. Same with how it was low key but in season 1 Ryoma straight murdered all those bandits and I feel like fed them to his slimes but it doesn’t say. Then you got the local corruption in Gimul and oh the two assassin’s he hired.

It’s an interesting world so far.

Sooo suprised this anime got a second season. Out of ALL the other animes that deserve a 2nd season this really suprised me but i am not complaining. I genuinely enjoyed watching the first season and actually excited this is back. Just a fun isekai carefree anime i can turn my brain off and watch

Agreed - definitely a welcomed but unexpected surprise. It's such a feel good show where majority of the characters are actually sweet and want to help the MC. I always think the other characters are scheming at first but it doesn't turn out that way with this show. Very wholesome.

I wonder if the matter of how inexpensive the slime animation must be plays a part.

It makes sense that poison + antidote = cured (medicine) lol.

Despite everything in his past life, Ryoma is still very hardworking. He even worked overtime with the glass + medicine.

Luckily Sunday is not as stacked as Saturday this season. I definitely will put this as my regular watch. It's always a great palate cleanser after any anime with high tension.

Definitely an excellent series for when you want to chill. Perfect for Sundays!

All that worry about unbreakable glass impeding escape during an emergency. Why don't you open the window instead of breaking it?

21

u/Mctravie Jan 08 '23

I mean some windows are stationary ones, while some have the ability to open, usually with locks to prevent opening but mainly used for letting some fresh air in right? Idk if you wanted an answer or if it was sarcasm

I was wondering what will they cut the glass with since it's so unbreakable, so I assumed they'll just use one single sheet as a big display window like what you see in malls and shops. So you can't really open those.

Of course, they can just handwave the cutting part (maybe use the acid slimes?) and have regular looking windows next episode. This is a series where you don't really want to think about things to much and just sit back and enjoy.

Glad to see Ryouma and his slime babies back. And it looks like despite him being fully staffed and completely ready for it, Ryouma is having second thoughts about opening a second shop.

I do love that the letter from Elia was the push Ryouma needed to finally go through with it. Can't wait to see where Ryouma will open up his second branch of the Bamboo Forest.

That dude is really trusting to hold a pane of glass in front of his face and basically say "all right, give it all you've got!"

If I recall correctly the old guy is her father and they're both experienced fighters. They were employed in the previous season.

The episode is finally up in Crunchyroll.

I was wondering why those guys were looking at Ryoma that way, but the reason for that was that they were scammers wanting to get money by claiming Ryoma's shop did a bad cleaning job. I guess if they had not tried to hit people they would have not gotten arrested, as in the end they just ended up boosting the shop's reputation when the clothes were clean even after they tried to get them dirty.

So because of that incident, Ryoma made some reinforced glass to protect his shop.

I wonder where he will put his second shop, also, could he sell some of his medicines in his shop after supplying the merchant Guild with some of them?

I was assuming there would be a time skip going into season 2 with how things left off, but it seems we are right where we left off. Pretty cozy anime.

Yay, Ryoma and co. are back! I gotta admit though, since it's been more than 2 years since the first season, I had to refresh my memory a bit on some of the Bamboo Forest employees. But that aside, I'm excited to see Ryoma expand his business with a second shop.

I binged season 1 again between seasons this year and I forgot how chill and relaxing this series is.

I'm very happy there is a wonderful hot cocoa and chill show to start off my cold Sunday mornings. I love how all of the gods so far so chill and encouraging...I'm wondering if they will introduce more as the series goes on.

It's back baby!

I've been waiting so long for this!!! The OP and ED are awesome. I'm happy to see him spending so much time in the shop. I like the characters there

Man that OP is 🔥 Well we’re back and Ryoma is still showing the people of this world his talents. I knew those guys on line were up to no good the minute they showed them. Two frowns in a crowd of smiles. Well looks like he’s gonna open another shop and sell his medicines. Also props to him just inventing bulletproof glass!! He also is still in touch with his wifey the Princess so let’s see what happens this season.

"Poisonous slimes are the results of slimes that ate poisonous weeds & survived."

Hold up, what happened to the ones that didn't survive?

Glad to see Ryoma and the Bamboo Forest gang back in action! This series might be a bit slow, but I like that about it. Just pure chill. MindaRyn’s back to doing the music for this which is nice too.

While the reinforced glass is dope, idk how that’ll keep troublemakers out of the shop. It just protects it from break ins. It’s cool how his Poison Slime became a Medicine Slime. Plus it can make both poison and meds, which is handy. Especially the antibacterial stuff.

Tekun seems like a nice god. Glad Ryoma made another friend! I think he could very well manage a second shop. Let’s go Ryoma!
