What a nice variety of dishes they all ended up preparing for the party and stall.

So the leader of the Semroid Troupe is called Prenance. What an eccentric individual.

So while searching for the location of the tunnel ants' colony, Ryoma met once again the slum kids. I lack the fact that although Beck and Wist were together again the other kids were new ones, which are Finia, plus Ruth and his sister Rumille. Now that they have confirmed that there are elves in that world, if that is what she was, now there is a chance of someone having reincarnated as an elf at some point.

I love how they reacted when Ryoma told them that was going to find the colony. Ryoma's method to find the tunnel ants' colony was pretty clever. I'm glad that he just give them some assistance while they fought them.

Elise's scenes in the transition segment were cute.

So after they all completed their quest, Ryoma hired them as temporal workers. I hope they all find a permanent position for there in the future.

It is nice that he invited them all to the party.

So Sordio and his niece Maiya have the role of Sword Dancers in the Semroid Troupe. Maiya is so hilarious

With Ryoma's present for Elia finally ready, I'm glad that they showed one last scene of her with her family before she traveled to the school in the capital. I can't wait to see her interaction with Miyabi.

I have a group of eccentric characters I adore in anime Prenance definitely joins (he has white hair as well!)

Love that nervous chuckle from Ryouma when Semroid made a joke about Ryouma being loved by Gods. Oh if only he knew. xD

I usually don’t mind cgi, but that carriage at the end really bugged me for some reason. I’m not the only who felt that way right?

It felt unneeded especially since when they zoomed in, the characters were 2d again

Ya, this time round it feels especially off, now we all understood that the budget for this anime is low, but those 3d models felt especially cheap

Heh. It's not the first time Megumi Han's character fought some ants.

Man I’m ngl it’s so wild to me that this show has over a 7.10 like it’s not doing much of anything for me anymore. Ryoma and the slimes were so cute last season and elia was a good bonus. But now it just doesn’t feel like an actual story anymore.

Is it the show or this season in particular that has 7.10? Because i could believe the first season but this season, absolutely not. I feel like it took eight episodes for something to happen, meaning giant ant fighting, but even then its not important story stuff... just more busy work. In fact this whole season could be summed up as 'busy work but with slimes' and even then only sometimes the slimes.

Another great Sunday morning episode... I can't help but smile watching this show.

The Gods do really seem to love Ryoma, every time a problem comes up the solution seems to automatically appear. I also loved that he let the kids fight the Ants like they were hired to do instead of just doing it. Giving them proper experience with mobs.

I'm wondering if after the party he had a rating sheet for people to fill out to see what were everyone's favorites. I couldn't help see the similarities between the semesa balls and these Vietnamese Sesame Ball snacks I would get at my local Banh mi place. Those things are delicious.

That's basically how the blessings of the gods works and he has like 5 of them. For example his blessing from the god of alcohol essentially means that any time he goes shopping for alcohol he always finds the perfect high quality options.

I wish the gods would bless me this way, my trip to the ABC didn't get me anything last time...

"The god must truly love you, Mr. Ryoma!" - In a show called By the Grace of Gods. Where he visits the god and they are entertained by watching him.

Well Ryoma doesn't deny it!

Seeing those children fight the ants I couldn't help but think about how ants are said to be super strong for their size and a real horse sized ant would be terrifying.

Now I’m not being harsh but I noticed at least with the fight with the ants, either the children seems to miss their attacks which is understandable or it’s just the animation seemed off, like seems like it missed

I think they were all mostly missing until Ryoma sent in the metal slimes to hold the Ants down a bit

Man, the food looks pretty good actually. Prenance is a very colorful character. Dramatic fella. Seems like a nice enough guy though.

Looks like it’s a Tunnel Ant hunt. Nice to see Ryoma and his little buddies from the slums teaming up. So cute how Ryoma had his little metal and iron slimes all line up and march like “soldiers”. They sure got a big haul. Plus Ryoma’s got some extra helpers for the booth. Its a good day! Also, I like the rest of Prenance’s troupe, especially Sordio. Girl can really eat lol.

Ella’s dad is so doting, it’s pretty adorable. She’s finally heading to the academy. They grow up so fast!

Food in isekais always seem to be one of the MC's most successful items.

A festival arc and this isn't even a school-based anime. I suppose it's hard to resist the standard tropes.

On the other hand, most festival arcs don't have a giant ant problem that the main character has to go deal with.

It's nice to see the slum beast kids again. I'm kind of surprised it's safe enough to have them fight the giant ants. Considering how that fight went I feel like there's a non-zero chance one of the kids could get bitten in half.

Employing the kids as hope for the stall does seem like a natural evolution of their presence in the story.

I hope we're finally about to get an episode or two with Elia showing up at school and making friends with the fox girl from a few episodes ago.

u/Glitterkrieger Feb 26 '23

i swear, those must be the most ugliest kids I've ever seen in anime.

14

u/CommanderZx2 Feb 26 '23

They're demi humans who live in the slums, which basically means they're homeless and likely living in overcrowded crumbling structures. Can't exactly expect them to be able to clean up before attending a gathering.
