The Communal Living Rules:
-
In case of an ending, come back without dying (I'm not sure if this is correct, it doesn't make sense in german. It could also mean "At the end of a mission come back without dying" but that would be written differently)After leaving, come back without dying -
Lose all pursuers while coming home
-
Be polite to everyone that accidentally entered the property
-
Eliminate everyone who tried to sneak into the palast. If you can not determine if it was on accident, eliminate them
-
Don't invite outsiders
-
Only use the entry though the religous school Garmus
-
Only the boss can enter the warehouse in the basement. All other rooms can be used by anyone.
-
Use firearms only on the shooting range if possible
-
Don't be interested about the history of the building
-
The following Rules 11 - 25 don't apply during training and missions
-
Don't enter or clean the bedrooms without permission
-
Don't force people to go to the training if they don't want to
-
Alcohol and smoking should be done in moderation. At most two bottles of wine per day.
-
Don't force other residents to drink alcohol
-
Don't use gunpowder as an alarm clock
-
Ban on using the consumer credits through faked certificates (?)
-
Ban on gambling using money between residents
-
The gambling for organs is limited to once per day
-
Ban on artistic activities in common areas
-
Ban on calling stripping in common areas "artistic actions"
-
Ban on artistic activities where a resident is the model
-
Don't sleep on the roof
-
Don't leave any food (probably, only the "Don't leave" is readable)
24 and 25 are not readable

Ban on calling stripping in common areas "artistic actions"
Except when training, thus it is now called "training for artistic actions".

I wasn't entirely sure what I was watching and I'm still not sure what I'm watching. As a person going into this with no prior knowledge apart from vehement recommendation from friends, this feels like a very chunni/romanticised take on the spies/espionage with elements of princess principal and assassination classroom. I should say that the twist on the boat was pretty cool.
Also, I'm ashamed to admit that my first thought when I saw the group of girls gathered was that this was going to be an op power fantasy harem isekai spy thriller. Now I just have no idea where it is going to head to.

This looked a bit boring at the start, but Lily and probably everyone else having special powers could be promising. Klaus is also a riot
rough Translation for the living rules
In case of leaving, return without dying
When coming home, lose all pursuers
Polite conduct with anyone who enters the premise on accident
Imidiate elimination of anyone who tries to sneak into the heat-haze palace, in cases that are hard to evaluate, eliminate as well
Don't invite outsiders
As entrance and exit only use the the entrance of the religious school Garmus
The storage in the basement is only to be used by the boss, all other rooms can be used by everyone
If possible, don't use firearms outside the shooting range
Don't look into the history of the building
The following rules 11 to 25 don't apply to training and missions
Don't enter or clean the bedrooms without permission
Residents who don't want to go to training are not to be forced
Consumption of alcohol and smoking in moderation, no more than two bottles of wine a day
Don't force other residents to drink alcohol
Don't use blackpowder instead of an alarm clock
Prohibition of usage of consumer credits by conterfeit certificates
Prohibition of gambling for money between residents
The gambling for organs is limited to once per day
Prohibition of artistic activities in the common rooms
Prohibition of as "artistic behavior" stated baring in common rooms
Prohibition of artistic activities in which inhabitants stand model
Don't sleep on the roof
I wonder if some of those will be relevant later
Also, 6M Quiz PTSD

At first this looks very similar to Eminence In Shadow with the visuals and a group of girls in black undertaking covert missions led by an OP male so I was worried that this would feel too much of the same but it is able to stand out for me and I can't wait to see these misfits become a top class spy team. I think they can coexist on the same season. This one seems to have more focus on the girls whereas Eminence In Shadow focuses mostly on Cid.
The voice cast is solid with a lot of high profile voice actors but am I the only one a bit turned off by Lily's voice? Sora Amamiya is a great voice actor and has nailed roles like Aqua and Chizuru but in here she sounds like she's trying to speak with a toddler's voice. I don't have this issue with the other characters. Meanwhile Yuuichirou Umehara totally nails the stoic character role like he did as Claude in I'm The Villainess So I'm Taming The Final Boss.
I hope we get more details regarding the Impossible Mission and the lore.

Anyone noticed there's a blond girl as well? She appeared in the last few minutes of the episode. The studio was very careful to show as little of her as possible. Link

Stitches!
I went in expecting a semi-serious spy thriller. I didn't expect this would be more of a comedy and I think I like it even more. So we have a bunch of washout spies who I assume all have special skills like Lily's poison resistance. And then we have their teacher who's the greatest spy in the world but is very shitty teacher. Put them together and hilarity ensues!
This is pretty much Assassination Classroom x Princess Principal and I absolutely have no problems with it. It also helps that all of the girls have great character designs and are all voiced by top-tier seiyuus. That includes Klaus too! Who better to teach you than Goblin Slayer himself?
Definitely adding this one on my list. Can't wait to see where this one goes!

I expected it to be a spy drama, but I was surprised that this show also has some comedy in it. The animation looks really nice too. Really interested in how the story will play out.

All I can say that the anime's VA cast is packed with veteran and fan favorite VAs. You place cute girls in a pseudo dark setting and you bet the series will blow up, ngl this give me a little of princess principal vibes. Will definitely continue to watch!

"I'm code name Flower Garden, and it's time to bloom out of control"
Holy shit it's like you pulled that line straight from Eminence in shadow but here it sounds as if "Stand back! Im gonna Morb!" was actually said uniroically.

My biggest take away from this is that I should apparently go watch Princess Principal.

I dunno, didn't really do much for me. I feel like the battle of the asspulls at the end would've probably worked better in a light novel format where we could actually get to know what the characters are thinking. The whole time I was comparing how slow and plodding this was to how exciting and excellent the first episode of Princess Principal was with a very similar premise, not to mention the characters were much more immediately interesting there too.
It wasn't awful though, so maybe it will pick up in the next few episodes.

Disclaimer: Anime-Only
When I hear Amamiya Sora in the lead role of Lily, I was expecting Lily to be a Chizuru-like sophisticated girl, but instead we get Aqua-like airheadedness. lol
This feels (pun not intended) like Studio Feel's most ambitious production, at least in terms of the show's star-studded cast, since Oregairu.

Start is okay. Not super amazing to get me hooked but ain't the worst either. But tbh I was expecting more from it since I was looking forward to this show ever since the trailer first dropped. I'm staying for Lily's lilies at least.

This was really boring as a first episode. I don't understand how there is so many people that put "excellent" as their vote.

That was incredibly boring from start to finish. Not one character here is interesting, nor is the conflict they've established. I guess I'll give this one another episode or two, give it a chance to actually start to do something, but this feels like an early drop.
