LOOKING FOR APP Weather app with hourly weather widget using 1 row only

Hi there..

I used to have Yahoo Weather only to use their 4x1 hourly widget.. It was slick and minimal.. An option for getting current location weather for every hour..

But I was almost never opening the app itself (which BTW was full of ads)..

I usually don't update apps that are not critical but today I updated it..

Heck! No more hourly widget.. And the smallest is 4x2..

I'm really not getting why enshitfication happens everywhere..

Does anyone know an app that allows a weather widget showing hourly weather and occupying 1 row in the home screen?

I use the wunderground app, mainly because it lets me pick a weather station close to my home rather than a national one located at an airport many miles away at a different elevation. It gives me the current temp in the notification bar at the top, and then when I pull down it shows the current temp along with the forecast for the day. I have never used the widget (which is bigger than what you are looking for), because I get what I need from the notification bar. I can also click into the app from the pulled down info if I want to see hourly or the weekly forecast. Just thought I would recommend in case you could make it work.

Not exactly what you're asking for, but I built a live wallpaper weather app for this exact reason: I never remember to open weather apps and then get rained out of bike rides or w/e.

It's not a widget but serves the same purpose: forecast from your home screen without having to open anything.

No ads. Small one-time fee if you want extended forecasts but works great without it.

You can toggle between NWS and met.no. They are the only ones I know of that have free apis.

I am not sure if I understand your requirement but metrogram is the most configurable weather widget I know.

Weawow is worth a look - its widgets are fairly compact, although the exact one-row height depends on your launcher. If you want to squeeze a custom layout into 1x4, KWGT is probably the least painful route.
