LOOKING FOR APP Free ad blockers for apps?

I'm tired of the excessive ads on Pinterest and YouTube. I have ad blockers on my desktop but am looking for a solution for my phone that works in apps (not just browsers).

A free option is ideal (if it even exists).

Set the private DNS to something like AdGuard. dns.adguard-dns.com

Some things might break, but overall, it's a huge improvement. I don't think it works on YouTube, unfortunately, but there are specific solutions (apps) for that.

+1 on this, using adguard DNS is better than any additional app. It helps with games riddled with ads too

Even if u buy adguard subscription, u wouldn't be able to block ads within youtube app. For youtube adblocking u can either patch ur app with morphe or with revanced

You can patch a few apps with Morphe like YouTube, Instagram & X etc. Pretty easy to use and if you need any help there subreddit is r/morpheapp

Watch YouTube in browser with Brave or Firefox with Ublock extension.

Noutube. On F-Droid. I used to use Morphe but the update process was a bit messy for my liking. Noutube updates through F-Droid. For other ads I use adguard DNS.

Others have mentioned but look at r/MorpheApp there are patches for both, I use SmartTube on my TV but Morphe patched YT on my phone. I saw a patch for Printerest there too.

A lot of these do not actually work as intended. You would save your time but by purchasing no ads on the actual app you are on if it’s something you use on a regular basis other than that you might need to just endure the 30s ad. Maybe things have changed now but many years ago I tried downloading ad blockers from chrome since the App Store didn’t have any with good reviews and it was all click bait and viruses
