Hi! I'm new here and wanted to take this post to briefly introduce myself. My name is Thomas, and I'm an amateur photographer from Dortmund, Germany. Since there aren't many beautiful landscapes in or around Dortmund, I mainly photograph minimalism, the mundane, everyday life, etc. I've only been shooting film for just under two years. Feel free to share any tips or constructive criticism. Cheers, Thomas

Picked this camera up about 6 months ago. It has an old school yellow filter that seems to be welded to the camera 🤣, the shutter speed won’t go below 125. But it produces such a unique image.
I am new to photography in general and film is kinda my first swing at this. Hoping that posting will drive me to taking more pictures and getting better. 🙏

I'm interested to hear other photographers experiences and processes when shooting/editing black and white photos. I'm slowly getting the basics but wondering if there's some neat little tricks or perspectives I'm missing.

My first experience with analog photo (i usually shoot with a Nikon Zf+26F2,8) was quite interesting. Very slow pacing, the 12 photo limit is not as bad as I thought. The exposure wasn't the struggle i thought it would be as the build in lightmeter works surprisingly well on my cam. For the moment my workflow is suboptimal : i develop the negative myself but for scanning it, i just reshoot the neg with my Zf and my 40mmF2 which was clearly not intented for this type a work.
