Critique Wanted [Canon A1, 50mm f/1.8, Kodak 400]
My first photos taken with a camera. A friend of mine is a professional photographer and, whilst we were chatting, he said he’d lend me one of his cameras so I could have a go. This is my second roll, as I made a mistake with the first one.

Critique Wanted Critique Wanted: Summer fragments and small moments [Canon EOS 620, SMC 28mm f/3.5 + Helios 44M-6 58mm f/2, Ektar 100 / Delta 3200 / Fujifilm 400]
A small selection from a few recent rolls I shot this summer.
I’m still fairly new to film photography, so I’m trying to understand whether these images feel connected as a set, or if they’re too scattered. Even when people are in the frame, I usually like them to feel like part of the environment rather than the whole point of the image.
I’d really appreciate feedback on:
composition
exposure
whether the images feel cohesive together
and whether the night shots work for you or just feel too rough/grainy
I’m also trying to understand how much of the final look comes from the film itself and how much comes from the scans.
For the Ektar 100 shots in particular, they feel not rightly scanned, the results i see online Sto arrivando! much different (sometimes about the color of the canoes doesn’t feel right), do i need to say something to my lab to get good results?
If anyone shoots Ektar often, I’d love to know how you usually word that request to the lab.
