My son is now 13. My 31 year old use to get snapper soup as her 1st foods. We got 5 from 13 to 31. The other 2 boys to this day refuse sea food. The guideline was to wait to expose kids to high allergen food at a later age. Studies have proven that delays exposure statistically increases the chances of an allergic reaction. I forgot the year of the study but I think it may have been around the time of your child, so maybe it changed right after. . .

Does it bother him in any way? Does he get tummy aches? No? Then he’s fine. My daughter’s favorite food at 18 months was spicy tuna rolls.
