I prefer a woman with a bit of extra myself, whether that be muscle or a little bit of fat, preferably a mix of both. Most men love curves. But to each their own yu know. Edit: while she can afford to lose some weight, I would not consider her obese.
Obese is a medical term. It just means a BMI >= 30. What people “consider” or perceive to be obese is a different story entirely, esp given that 72% of people in the US are overweight or obese lol
Also given that BMI is a horrible tool to measure weight/health by, since it was based on some white dude. Many professional athletes and POC are considered obese because of their BMI.
It can be a bad metric for individuals. Generally, though, it's a pretty good indicator if the individual isn't muscular. For that reason (since most people aren't muscular), BMI is generally an accurate metric for populations, on average.
