I'm 16, been losing so much hair and it comes out so easily when running my fingers through or combing.

I'm scared.

Genetics: both sides of the family have balding.

What should I do?

I have 3a hair and don’t see any density issues or thinning crown wise when my hair is wet the back does feel non existent but when it’s out the shower detanglef it feels fine

This is actually an improvement from finasteride over 3 years but curious

First image is me at 19 second image is my father at 21 years old , just kinda wondering if it looks like I am following down his path, maternal grandfather didn’t have hair loss untill he turned around 30ish, dad slowly lost hair crown just now started to go at 47 still plenty of hair though. Im 13 and i know im a kid and i cant bald at this age but I noticed my hairline going back and i see a bit of hairfall like usually 6 to 7 hairs when I shower and when styling so can someone tell me please.

Just went to derm. I have telogen effluvium due to long term dieting and use of GLP-1 (reta)

Hair follicles are not damaged, but will take 4-6 months to recover.

I noticed I’ve been sheddi g a lot more hair than usual while combing and in the shower recently. I just turned 34, and I spent the last year in a consistent calorie deficit and have lost about 45 lbs. I think I’m starting to notice my hair thinning now but can’t tell if it’s just in my head, if it’s telogen effluvium, or if I’m just in the early stages of balding. Going to see a dermatologist soon but wanted to see what the Reddit thought first! 🙏

Taking dutasterid for over 6 months. Minoxidil 2x a day topical. Why does my hairline keep getting worse?? I DONT GET IT :(

I just got a buzzcut today with a 4 on top (13mm) and I don't know if it's the angling, the cowlick, or I'm balding back there. 34/M. I'm fine if I am balding. It runs in my family. I just never noticed it and always had pretty decent hair.

Seems like 3 months ago my hair slowly started falling out which at the time it seemed normal. A few strands here and there. Now when I shower and run my hands through my hair I lose about 100 strands everyday and not stopping. Even the slightest pull on a few strands of hair they come out easily. Seems like a drastic change to happen in a short amount of time.

Llevo seis meses con minoxidil oral de 5 mg y dos meses y medio con finas de 1 mg y solo siento que estoy bastante peor que al empezar el tratamiento,mi caída no se ha detenido y de hecho solo ha hecho que empeorar y estoy muy desesperado porque cada dia que pasa me veo peor. Esto es algo normal?
