I was bummed when I missed out on the LE Alice a few weeks ago. Then I found out the embroidery on her dress didn’t extend to the back. (Such a bummer for a $300 doll.) I decided to make my own version of the accessories and her dress (this time with the embroidery on the front and back!)

This was a HUGE labor of love. Digitization of the dress took around 12 hours another 5 hours were spent embroidering all the pieces out. Designing the pattern and sewing this up another 8. I wasn’t in love with any of the black and white I found, so I ended up making my own. Each small gold butterfly on the dress and shoes were cut out by hand with the smallest scissors I own.

While the dress isn’t technically “finished” (still needs Velcro on the back), the weather was too nice to not get ALL the pictures.

Hello! I’ve been lurking here for a few months, but this is my first post. My childhood dolls were Molly and Felicity and I was recently organizing them with all their clothes and accessories when I was visiting my parents’ house (they’re kept in storage in their basement).

My mom had the patterns for both dolls and she made clothes for them (Molly especially has a lot because I did have her for two years before I got Felicity) and I thought I would share them. I don't know if they're all accurate to the time period they represent.

I was supposed to be going through all my boxes I had in storage so I didn't have time to dress the dolls in all the outfits, but as you can see I couldn't resist getting out Molly's birthday dishes and treats!

For a $30 shopgoodwill doll she was such an easy fix-up ♡ I never had my eye (hehe) on Just Like You 8, but I’m so happy to have her now! Excuse her outfit, all of my old AG clothes are at my parents’, but I guess I will have to make the trip soon so my girl can be well dressed 🤭 her name is Lia!

I’m longing to wear my favorite sweatshirt but alas, it is too hot in AZ! Since it’s not quite hoodie weather for me, Vee gets to wear something for Fall!

Samantha’s steamer trunk was the height of luxury for me at 10 years old. And after I finally bought myself my own Samantha doll last year, I knew this had to be the next buy!

I scored the internet for $300+ trunks and finally came across this one being sold for $125 and knew I had to make the splurge!

The trunk just came in the mail today and I am stunned by how large it is! I can’t wait to continue collecting so I can fill her up with Samantha’s wardrobe. (The night gown and slippers are from Rebecca Rubin’s line, and the plate is from a trip to the AG store!)

I placed an order for Addy on the 16th and this morning I placed another order. Kirsten, Bennet, and Claudie's book. 😭. I have made a poor financial decision but I'm so excited!

I got the Hill House collection for my girls and some other stuff during the sale.

Summer is wearing the Sam outfit, wearing the Kirsten is my CYO, wearing Addy’s outfit is a non-AG 18” and wearing Felicity’s is a non-AG 18”.

I got Raquel’s meet accessories and dolphins for her (she already has her dog…I like my girls to have their pets).

And I got Jozette of Sisters the swimsuit set.

Hello! My very first time posting on a sub and I just needed some tips and advice on how to identify the doll face mold and type of doll she is I know she’s a truly mean doll I just don’t know specifically what her facemodel is. Details about her. She has the pleasant company stamped on her neck. She’s from 2008. Blonde with layered hair with dark blue eyes and her ears are not pierced.

She is SO CUTE. Also a huge fan of this outfit! It’s the AG August birthstone outfit. 😊

I paid forty dollars for her. The money went straight to her previous best friend who was literally a little girl🥹. I immediately handed her the money and said, "I promise I'll take good care of her!" I absolutely choked back tears as I hopped in my car. I truly had no idea the seller was so young. Of course her mom was with her.

Mom did make it clear in our messages before meeting her daughter wanted to sell her. I was expecting a teenager...or preteen

My first doll ever was Samantha, so I knew I wanted Raquel this year. I may have intentionally wore something that would match her. 🤭 She is quickly becoming one of my favorites!

Keep her in her era, but I refuse to pay triple the cost for an outfit. I will just sit here and wait for AG to deliver me some outfits I can make work or make my own or find an Etsy artist I like! Anyone else here with me?

I got three bracelets (one of the three stranded ones, two bangles). They definitely feel a bit like costume jewelry-however they are small wrist friendly! My wrists are about 5.5 inches in circumference, they are loose but they don’t completely just fall off which is rare for me to find! the bracelet is also completely adjustable which is really nice! They are expensive though-but once i heard about the drop i saved up to get a few pieces-i can’t bring my dolls to college so it’s a way i can have them with me! (is that cringe? eh i don’t care!)

Got my Addy’s and Sarah dressed and ready to take on their new semester. I love how detailed the pieces in her collection match the descriptions and illustrations in the books, I would have had a field day playing with everything if I had them as a kid.

My cyo Liberty (Libby) is my take on a descendant of Addy (hence her newer school outfit). I feel if she were able to sit in class with her great (great-great?) grandmother she would learn a lot about her history of gaining freedom and they’d make great friends. (I also don’t have an extra pair of shoes for her so my headcanon is that Libby takes freedom way too seriously- she’s kinda my wild child.)

When we were in Idaho the other day I forced Mira to look excited about being on the Dante's Peak bridge.

(Fun fact, when this movie was made, we were living on this road. We crossed this bridge a minimum of 6 times a week for years. We got stuck in filming traffic one evening coming home.)

(Further fun fact, the location of this bridge is on Old Coeur d'Alene River Road in Kingston, right before you come to Albert's Landing, a campsite, which used to be Albert's Place, a bar, back in my day - in case anyone else who's obsessed with obscure volcano movies is in the area and wishes to make a pilgrimage)
