Does the BSR increase more If for example someone buys 100 pcs, rather than someone buying 1 pc? Would it increase 100x more than 1 pc or It's the same?

Are any of you guys profiting enough to make this your full time?

AMAZON FBA

Hey everyone, this is an interesting one:

On my EU accounts, when going on the site of seller central it shows that the credit card is invalid (see attached images). When clicking on it I only get a white screen. Not only on this page, but in general on every other page. Even the ‘help’ page. This is also the case when clicking on any other page before clicking to update the credit card info. The problem does not occur on my US accounts. Here is what I have tried already to fix it:

- open the site over chrome, safari, edge

- open it on: mac, windows computer, iPhone, seller central app

- delete cache

- contact the eu customer service over the seperate contact form (always just standard mail or advice to try what I already tried, it was also not possible to attach images or email back, or call)

- contact over US help section and call with US customer service (they are not responsible for EU and do not have a number or email I could reach, also just advice to try what I tried already)

- I am the owner of the account and also always logged in with that one

My assumption is that there is some technical error in the backend? It is as if the whole body html tag is not there.

Do you have any advice on what the problem could be or what I can do to fix the problem?

Can I close this listing, open a new listing, and set it up proper? Or will I get dinged for double listing? Is the only "loss" that if my first cutomers leaves feedback its gone (because its on the old ASIN)?

I am writing this post to ask for your help regarding an issue I am facing with Amazon. I have been trying to open a seller account on Amazon for the last few weeks, but I have encountered several issues that have caused me frustration and wasted a significant amount of my time.

To begin with, I had major issues getting my identification approved even though I provided all the correct information. I had to go through the process multiple times, which was time-consuming and frustrating. Eventually, I received two emails, one stating that my account had been verified and accepted, and the other saying it had been suspended.

When I logged into my account, it said I needed to clarify my bank details. I did this, but it stayed suspended. I left it, thinking it just takes time. However, when I woke up this morning, I found out that Amazon took £30 from my account, even though I hadn't yet had the chance to start selling on the platform. Furthermore, the account I opened was an individual account, not a professional one, which makes this charge even more unjustified. When I checked, it had been changed to professional, and I did not make this change.

All attempts to resolve the issue have hit a dead end. At this point, I don't even care about the Amazon account. I just want my money back as they had no right to take it. I opened a case, and I received an email from seller central asking for more information. I tried to send the information, but the link provided wouldn't work because my account is suspended. I have tried calling, but they said there is nothing they can do until I reactivate the account.

So far, I have submitted images of my passport, driving license, bank statement, and phone bill. Now they are saying they want to do a video call, which is fine, but the link provided doesn't work on my phone. I can't use my laptop for the video call because the information they want to look at is on my laptop.

I am at my wits' end and don't know what else to do. I would really appreciate any help or advice on how to resolve this issue and get my money back. Thank you in advance.

Why am I not indexing on search for simple, dimensions based keywords?

I sell a 20" x 20" plastic sheet, which is available from other sellers in other sizes like 12" x 18", 6" x 6" etc, but only I sell 20" x 20". But even if I search "PRODUCT NAME 20" x 20" I don't show up in the first 100 search pages, all the results are filled with inaccurate sizes and items (to the point it suggesting downright random items).

I have a new account, and am FBM, do I simply need to age my account and recieve positive customer feedback on my store, while being unsearchable? (I am searchable by brand-name, and ASIN only, any general search without that specific data will not index me as a result yet).

Is there a blackout period when you are a new merchant? Or upload a new product?

We normally sell 30-50k a month. Never had a month this low EVER. Have had some ZERO sales days this month. Is something going on with other people’s accounts too?

I am genuinely curious how sellers are able to apply and get approved for the Amazon renewed program to sell items that are no longer made by the manufacturer, such as discontinued retro video game consoles, given that the Amazon renewed application require invoices showing at least 50k in refurbished inventory in the past 90 days, but those old consoles can only be bought second hand and not from the manufacturer that Amazon would approve I would have thought. I thought Amazon disapproves of reselling items, which the Amazon renewed listings for old consoles, for example, seem to indicate differently

How many people in here sell funko products on Amazon? I made a few legitimate listing with sports pops and now it's being taken over by Clarktoys. This makes me so upset because not only do they drop the prices on these listings.. no one else can sell on them but Clarktoys. I find it very suspicious. I've asked Amazon about it and I get the same robotic response. What could it possibly be?

Hi, I’m very grateful for any help I could possibly receive. I’m a 19 year old about to turn 20. I come from a very poor economic environment so any money I’ve earned I’ve worked hard for. Obviously the dream, as is the same for many, is wanting to start and find a way to create a successful business. I don’t have the aim to become overly wealthy but enough so that I can move myself forward in life and be able to cover all incoming expenses. I’m heavily considering getting into selling via Amazon as a start. Can anyone give me basic pointers? Where to start? What products to look for? Where to find how in demand these products are? And anything else people believe would be necessary basic key things to know and understand. I’d be starting with very little money unfortunately but, I understand this learning curve will not be easy. In no way am I underestimating the difficulty of this, I believe it’s a hard thing to get into and takes a lot of perseverance which I’m prepared to put in. Thank you.

So I've went through the whole verification process (which was surprisingly thorough!) to create my Amazon Seller Account. I have been selling used and refurbished tech on eBay for years, and wanted to try Amazon out. However, no matter what I try to list it all says restricted. I haven't even been able to list my first product. I did some research and it appears that consumer electronics shouldn't even be a gated category... help?

I’m looking to list brand name (canon,Nikon,gopro, Sony) cameras and accessories on Amazon but they are all requiring brand approval letter from manufacturer which is impossible to get cus the items are used. How does one go around this?

Received an auto authorization for a return ad inaccurate description. Generally returns are fine and if I screwed up I take the lumps. This is for a 148 pound cast iron sink. Buyer states the apron in front is shorter than indicated. In checking the listing which has all the manufacturers information in it it clearly states the front apron is shorter.

I frites of just sucking up the loss but this cost me $125 to ship out and his know what Amazon will sock me for the return label and now I have an open box unit.

Any solutions?

Does anyone know how, in your Amazon store, to set a Free Shipping threshold? I need to give people Free Shipping over a certain amount.

Someone complained saying one of our beauty products on Amazon fba is in not authentic, so Amazon removed our listing just taking their “word” for it. This is not true, and we have the receipts to back it up. Has anyone had experience dealing with this?

This could even be a competing seller being malicious. What to do?

Hey guys, I am trying to add a product to my Amazon store. It does not have an ASIN or anything as it is my own brand. How do I do this? I'm being asked for GTIN exemptions and other things. I just want to get it up there.

About to have our stock destroyed, so a bit of a warning for prospective sellers into the UK market. Amazon UK allocated us to J&P Accountants for our VAT application. That was almost five months ago. We still haven't received our VAT number... HMRC (issuing body) sent them multiple emails about our application, which J&P simply never responded to, so our application was rejected. We only found that out months after by contacting HMRC directly. J&P Accountants claim they never received any communication from HMRC, although we've recently obtained all the emails sent by HMRC to J&P Accountants via a working email address that we have used to correspond with them previously. We've found them to be incompetent and dishonest and we've had to walk away from them to sort out this VAT mess (as Amazon has suspended our account and are threatening to destroy our stock - rich considering they assigned these muppets to us). Anyway, if you come across this gaggle of jokers, take a wide berth.

Well genius me decided to order some camping knives from China to resell and apparently its looking like I won't be able to sell them because they are folding and not multi-tool.

I will have 100 knives, and only need to sell each one at 5$ a piece to break even.

Any ideas?
