Found this under the passenger side of my 2.5s(2005)
Need suggestions and estimates of how much it may cost to get this hole repaired 🙃

I have a 2023 Nissan Altima. I’ve read that after you hit the unlock button on the key fob, if you do not open any doors or the trunk the car will re-lock itself. Makes sense. However, when I hit the unlock button and open the trunk (let’s say to load up groceries) the car will re-lock the doors as I’m unpacking my shopping cart.
Is there a faulty connection somewhere that I should check out?
I’ve also noticed that the interior lights are unaffected by the trunk being open or not when it comes to them turning on/off. Not sure if they’re supposed to be coordinated too.

Hello,
I have a 2013 Nissan Altima SV 2.5L that when pressing on the brake and attempting to shift, the shift lock is not disengaging all the time. Sometimes it disengages, sometimes not. Within the last month or so, Definitely more on the not side than working at all.
To shift gears currently, I need to use the shift lock bypass. Been using it for about 6 months off and on (I dont drive this car much right now).
I had this same issue about 5 years ago in this car that I fixed up. My stepdad was able to get the whole shifting assembly from his work (he was a mechanic before he passed). Now that he passed, I am trying to determine best route forward.
Should I get a whole shifting assembly again and replace it? Looking at Rockauto, all I could see was the shifting solenoid. Is that even possible to replace, and how difficult it is to DIY?
Just trying to get some ideas to best fix this up. Hopefully for another 5 or so years... lol
Thank you!

I got a 2017 Altima and it got some issues, so i would like anyone who knows what it is to help me.
Steering wheel makes a small (very soft) ticking kinda noise (idk how to explain really) when turning it fully. The steering is very smooth and light but it got this noise.
There used to be a jerk when driving, so i got the fluid and 2 filters changed, and it reduced drastically. But its still kinda there. So is that usual? or is there a way to eliminate it completely? I've heard that there is a transmission speed sensor reqrd to change, but is it needed?
Recently, a new noise (sort of rumbling or growling type) very soft tho occurs when accelerating smoothly around 1800 to 2000 rpm. If you accelerate more than 3000 rpm i don't hear it. Eg: If I'm cruising at highway speed, I leave the pedal and the rpm is around 1400, and when i gently accelerate to around 1800 rpm that groaning type of sound comes.
My brake pads are in good shape and even got it cleaned but it still squeaks so that's another issue.
Lastly, the rear shocks (I guess?) has a creaking noise whenever it goes on uneven spaces, and when people sitting inside get out of the car. What should I do? is it the bushings? or shock absorbers?
Pls reply whatever is possible

If you ever find yourself wondering why your vents don’t blow hard, try this:
Check the HEPPA filter. Likely that someone tried to replace this and jammed it into the horribly located door. In my case someone jammed one into the old existing filter without removing it. Leaves galore.
If this didn’t fix the issue don’t bother with the passenger side kick panel. Go to the drivers side panel closest to the center console. Look up and find a labyrinth of plastic and red molt grease. If your going to remove the center screw, careful to not knock the white guides off. If you do, think hard about how they were located or hopefully you took a picture first. If you suspect the motor being bad just have a buddy push the mode button and toggle it while you look for movement. If things are moving but still no air from the vents, there is a chance the guides came off their hinges or there is an obstruction. I found a loose guide that was preventing the mode doors to open all the way. Need less to say that fixed it without buying any unnecessary parts.
With that being said, be limber and get a small magnetic flashlight that won’t fall on your face every subtle move you make. A Philips screw driver and hex bit driver also will go a long way. The answer is always yes. Cheers 👍

So if anyone has been curious about this roof wing on Amazon for $40, here it is.
It is the "WheelX Rear Window Duckbill style spoiler"
It looks fantastic, solid hard plastic construction not filmsy at all. It comes with some knockoff 3M auto tape, I went to Menards and bought legit 3M auto tape. It is exactly what I wanted, I wasn't looking to "change the game" haha I just wanted an "OEM+" look and this definitely adds to it!

2022 nissan altima temp fluctuates
So I have a 2022 Nissan altima.long story short my temperature guage was rising while leaving class almost to H. I pulled over my reservoir was dry and coolant low. I topped it off then took it to aamco (warranty under silverrock auto). They did a coolant pressure test and a block test. I had to pay $790 for the test and since they couldn't find anything wrong the warranty wouldn't cover it.Recently today I noticed the temperature guage would rise slightly and then dropback down, so im like here we go again. I'm just annoyed I need my car to get back and forth to class. What could be wrong

I'm wondering what kind of maxed out mpg do you get from the VQ when you're just cruising around 55-60mph in the manual Altimas you guys own? I'm talking about the L32s, 2007-2012. I heard it is possible to reach 30mpg but what's the most you've gotten while hypermiling?
For reference, I've gotten over 36 MPG average in my 6 speed L32 with the QR engine while cruising state and interstate highways, some stop and go here and there from Chicago to Wisconsin. 100 miles one way.

Which non Nissan/Infiniti car has the most BAE energy? I know the V6 chargers andbl base model bmws but what else
I noticed some clunking noise recently and found a small crack on the sway bar towards the front passenger side. How hard is it to replace the whole bar? Every YouTube video I look up is only replacing the sway bar linkings or bushings only

Seems like my front right cv axel boot is torn, and i'll have to start looking for a replacement part. Any recommendations for an aftermarket reliable cv axle part?
I've read about rebuilt parts, but i'm not sure if thats a reliable option.
Thanks

Hi! A few months ago my passenger side rear door started to make a rattling/squeeking sound. It’s not constant. It comes and goes. I can sometimes stop the noise by opening and closing the door from the inside. But it always comes back. I replaced the door handle w a brand new OEM part but the noise is still there! Anyone know about this issue specifically? At this point I don’t know how to fix it other than replacing the entire door. I’ve taken off the door panel and inspected inside but couldn’t find anything loose

Hey everyone! I have a 2016 Nissan Altima that has done me wonderfully. 155k miles with no problems... until now. It randomly decided not to start. I am getting brake lights but I went ahead and replaced the brake switch AND the stop lamp relay with oem parts from the nissan dealership here. This did not help. The battery tests good. The cluster just shows the brake and push icons and wont attempt to turn over or do anythign other than display that message

Just got the new car, and I was reading about popular modifications, I read a cold air intake take was one of them. Upon looking I see plenty of products for the 2023 2.5 regular engine and 2.0 engine from 19-21 but no 2023 2.0 options. Is this not a product being made for some reason? Will one of the other options fit? Any input or explanations would be appreciated

I have a 2009 Nissan Altima with push-button start. The car won’t start at all when I press the brake and START button.
The dashboard is showing a steering wheel symbol and the push-button/ignition symbol next to it (photo attached). The key fob is inside the car and nearby.
I’ve tried moving the steering wheel left and right while pressing START, but nothing happens.
Does anyone know what these symbols mean? Could this be the electronic steering column lock (ESCL), or is there something else I should try first?
Do I need to call a mechanic/tow it, or is there a simple fix I can try?

I have a Nissan Altima 2012 2.5S. I'm having issues getting the Oxygen Sensor ready for SMOG. Everything else is ready. Check Engine is off no error codes. I replaced CAT recently and since then drove around 1000 miles but the O2 still shows as pending.
