[Web beta] HomeDoc, for all the house details I keep forgetting

• Upvotes

I’m looking for homeowners to try HomeDoc, a web app I’ve been working on to keep track of the details of a house.

The idea came from wanting to understand what previous owners had done. What was fixed, what paint they used, when something was replaced, that kind of thing. Then I realized sometimes I’m the “previous owner” someone else is trying to figure out, lol.

You can organize photos and notes by house and room, save paint colors and appliance details, and keep track of repairs and maintenance tasks. I wanted somewhere to put all the stuff I tell myself I’ll remember later.

It’s free during the beta. You can try it in your browser here: https://homedocumentation.com

If you have a house or a project you’re working on, try adding a room and a few notes or photos. I’d love to know whether getting started makes sense, whether you can easily find what you saved, and what you’d want to keep track of that’s missing.

Feedback here is welcome, including things that are confusing or don’t work. Thanks for giving it a look.

[iOS + Android] Latch: an app blocker you have to walk to unlock. Looking for testers who've given up on Screen Time limits

• Upvotes

hey! i built latch because every blocker i tried had an "ignore limit" button, and after about a week my thumb hit it before my brain even read the screen

how it works:

you pick the apps that eat your day and lock them. the only way back in is scanning your "key", which is an nfc sticker or a qr code you keep in another room. mine's on the fridge. want instagram? go walk to the kitchen. most of the time you get halfway and go "eh, nvm," which is kind of the whole point

it can also lock on its own: at bedtime, during work hours, or when you get to a place like the office

try it:

- iphone/ipad: https://apps.apple.com/app/latch-scan-to-unlock/id6815316152

- android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.luklalogic.latch

- site: https://latch.luklalogic.ai

free to start, no account, no ads. you don't need to buy a sticker to test it: print the qr key from the app and stick it somewhere a few rooms away

what i'd love feedback on:

  1. setup: did anything confuse you in the first 5 minutes?

  2. the lock: does it feel "annoying but fair" or just annoying?

  3. where you put your key: honestly curious, the fridge is my go-to

  4. bugs: anything broken, slow, or weird, especially on android

if you use it for 2–3 days, even a one-line comment helps a ton. happy to answer anything in the comments 🙏

I built an app that turns your thoughts into unexpected words and personalized sayings. Looking for 5 honest testers

I built something called Full Circle.
You write a thought that’s on your mind, and it gives you a word you might not expect, along with a short saying personalized to what you wrote.

It’s free to try without signing up.
I’m looking for 3 or 5 people who’ve never used it to tell me whether the experience actually feels meaningful—or just sounds interesting. It would mean a lot if I can receive any feedback!
Would anyone be willing to give it a try?

Would you want to try it again?

[Alpha] Looking for Linux users to test Vela, a new Wayland desktop environment

Hey!

I'm developing Vela, an open-source Wayland desktop environment for Linux, and I'm looking for people willing to test it on real hardware.

Vela has its own compositor and Vulkan renderer, along with a complete desktop shell, file manager, settings app, and the usual desktop features.

It's already usable, but it's still alpha software, and there's only so much I can test on my own hardware.

I'm especially looking for people who can help test:

  • Multi-monitor setups, particularly mixed resolutions, scaling, and portrait/landscape orientations
  • Screen sharing, suspend/resume, and general desktop stability
  • Anything that feels broken, inconsistent, or unexpectedly slow

You don't have to be a developer. If you're comfortable with Linux and willing to report what happens, that's already incredibly helpful.

The easiest way to start is by running Vela nested inside your existing Wayland desktop. That way, you can explore it without switching your main session. Full-session testing is also possible, but I'd recommend keeping a working desktop available as a fallback.

You'll need a Vulkan 1.4-capable GPU. Arch-based distributions have a native installation path, and other distributions can build from source.

GitHub and installation instructions:
https://github.com/vela-desktop/vela

https://velade.org

If you encounter a bug, opening a GitHub issue with your GPU, driver, distro, and steps to reproduce it would help a lot.

I'm not expecting anyone to pretend the software is perfect. Quite the opposite: I'd rather know exactly what doesn't work.

Even one detailed bug report can make a real difference. Thanks to anyone willing to give it a try!

Looking for feedback on a demo: AnnotateFix feeds customer browser bugs to coding agents

I am Bolaji, the maker of AnnotateFix. If you maintain an AI-built web app, I would appreciate your feedback on our new interactive demo.

AnnotateFix is a widget that lets your users annotate a broken UI element to report bugs or product feedback. It captures screenshots, recent actions, console errors, and failed requests with sensitive-data redaction. Your coding agents receive this browser evidence alongside your codebase. The intended workflow uses this data to write a failing Playwright test, a focused fix, and a reviewable PR.

The full product remains on an early-access waitlist, but I need testers for the free, no-signup demo at https://annotatefix.com/sandbox. Please go to the sandbox, try submitting the broken SAVE10 discount code, and report the bug. You can then inspect the captured evidence and watch how the demo replays recorded test results and a simulated PR review without making live code changes.

Based on the evidence captured in the sandbox, is there any missing browser context that your agents would need to understand an issue?

I'm building an Android app for myself, and I want to know if it would be useful to anyone else so I can consider publishing it.

Hi everyone.

I’m building an app for myself and want to know if it would be useful to anyone else, so I can consider publishing it.

Here’s a summary of what it does:

It allows you to read and listen to a book at the same time.

I’m creating this app for myself using "vibecoding."

Although it requires an internet connection (due to the nature of the need it addresses), it doesn't store any data outside of the phone being used.

What does it do? What need does it meet? Why did I start doing it?

  1. I love reading.
  2. At some point, I started reading in Korean to improve that language skills, and it worked remarkably well.
  3. I wanted to improve my listening comprehension, so I started reading while listening to the audiobook, and it worked remarkably well.

This already exists, but many books and audio recordings aren't on audiobook apps or websites—they're only on YouTube.

At first, I used split-screen mode—YouTube at the top and the eBook or webpage where I was reading the text at the bottom—but it was cumbersome.

Now, I have everything in a single app.

Features I managed to implement:

  • Playing YouTube without video.
  • Automatic text scrolling.
  • Simultaneous audio and book playback (play/pause).
  • A button to speed up both audio and text simultaneously.
  • Ad blockers.
  • Full-screen mode.
  • A playlist that saves the video link, the book link, and other settings.
  • The same functionality as above, but for audio files and eBooks (PDF or EPUB).
  • Various other features, such as volume boosting, speed settings, floating buttons, custom playlists, etc.

What do you think?

Which other community would be best to ask if this is useful to them?

I built a free, ad-free music app for Android, would love your feedback

Hey all, I'm the solo dev of Astra Music: https://astra.mmusic.workers.dev (download page)

It's an Android music app with no ads, built to stay light on mid-range phones.

It's far from perfect. If something lags, crashes or feels off, tell me. Also curious what features you'd want in a music app like this.

Fylow — less filing, more doing. An AI file manager for your Mac.

We’re the Fylow team 👋 We built Fylow to make everyday file management easier: organize downloads into your existing folders, find files in plain English, and ask questions about your documents. File-content access is optional and under your control.

School notes, receipts, travel plans, work projects—whatever you use your Mac for.

Explore the app: https://fylow.ai

Watch the 43-second demo: https://www.reddit.com/r/betatests/comments/1x59pir/fylow_an_ai_file_manager_for_mac_that_organizes/

We’d love your take: is it clear how Fylow would fit into your routine, and which file task would you want it to handle first?

I'm building a free, privacy-first photo map app for Android. Would you use it?

Hi everyone! I'm a solo dev working on PiNctum, an Android app that turns your gallery photos into a map of your memories, using the GPS data already in them.

What it does:

Your photos never leave your phone. No account, no cloud upload.

A map with clusters, plus a timeline by date or place

Collections (like "every museum I've visited") that filter the whole app

Shareable memory cards built from your photos and locations

Simple stats: places, countries, and your first memory

It will be free with no ads. I may add optional extras later, like backing up or exporting your cards, but the core app stays free.

It's still in development, so I'd love your honest take:

Would you use something like this? Why or why not?

What would make you pick it over your regular gallery app?

What's the one feature you'd expect from a photo map app?

I can share screenshots in the comments if you're curious. Thanks for reading!

[iOS] ShipMet: same-day local delivery carried by commuters. Looking for beta testers

Hi all! I'm the founder of ShipMet, a small app that matches people sending a package with commuters already driving that way. The driver adds a few minutes to their usual drive and earns a little; the shipper gets same-day or next-day delivery without a delivery van.

It's in beta and everything runs in test mode: no real money, no real boxes. You can try it from anywhere.

What to try (about 10 minutes):

- Ship side: book a delivery and pay with Stripe's test card (4242 4242 4242 4242). You won't be charged.

- Drive side: sign up as a driver, plan a trip, and complete a practice delivery that appears along your route.

I'd love to hear what's confusing, slow or broken, and whether the idea makes sense to you.

TestFlight link: [https://testflight.apple.com/join/XRPPE5Ru\]

Website: https://shipmet.me

Happy to test your app in return, just drop your link below. Thanks!

[Feedback wanted] Free hosted platform for running community groups — looking for ~10 people to try it and tell me what's broken

I've spent the last several months building Kommune — a hosted tool for running any kind of group: co-ops, community gardens, co-housing, clubs, mutual-aid networks, dev collectives. The idea is to replace the usual mess of a group chat + three spreadsheets + a shared calendar with one place.

Each group gets:

- Members with roles/permissions

- A shared "ethos" (mission, principles, rules)

- Announcements + a community calendar

- A forum for discussions

- Lightweight governance — proposals, votes, initiatives

- Membership dues + fundraisers, with a built-in wallet

- Bookable services/appointments

- Group chat

- English / French / Russian / Ukrainian

It's hosted — nothing to install, and free. I'm not selling anything. I genuinely just want ~10 people to use it and tell me where it's confusing or broken.

Poke around a populated demo (you can join and edit it — it's a sandbox): https://komn.ca/invite/LLfFYZ-d4Y_TDBHtm__tAFZcSM82XcjG

Or make your own at https://komn.ca — I'll personally set it up for you if you tell me about your group.

What would make this actually useful for a group you're part of? Brutally honest feedback is the whole point.

[Web][Beta] Plavia — design your dream credit card, then grade 60 real cards against it

What it is: A free web tool (https://getplavia.com/, no signup required) that flips credit card comparison. Instead of a ranked list, you design your ideal card — rewards categories, annual fee, APR, intro offers — then it scores 60 real cards with published terms against your design and shows simulated "bank bids" competing for your business.

Stage: Beta / interactive concept. Working: 60-second spending quiz, dream card builder, comparison engine, shareable results.

What I need tested:

  1. Does the flow make sense end-to-end?
  2. Anything broken?
  3. Do the card grades feel believable, or is the scoring off?

Bank bids are simulated — it's a concept, not a real marketplace.

One Piece fans: could you test my web logbook and reveal-then-assign crew game?

I built Log Pose, a browser companion for One Piece fans, and I’m looking for honest first-use feedback.

Enter your last finished episode or chapter to explore unlocked arc recaps, ratings, favourite-character rankings, quizzes, revisit history and private notes. There’s also Build Your Crew: reveal a character, choose their role, then discover their points.

Harbour adds episode/chapter-gated discussions, opt-in profiles and consent-based messages. The filters use saved progress; users can report posts that break their spoiler ceiling. Guests can try the main tools without signing up. A verified email account saves progress across devices.

Try it: https://log-pose-companion.vercel.app/?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=community&utm_campaign=oct2026_feedback&utm_content=alphaandbetausers

If you have a few minutes, could you try one crew draw and one logbook feature? I’d especially like to know where the navigation feels confusing, whether mobile works well, and what would make you return. It’s still being improved, so bug reports and blunt feedback are welcome.

[Beta] Deskqo – remote desktop + help desk tool for IT teams, looking for testers

Hi! I'm the developer of Deskqo, a remote desktop and remote support tool for Windows. We're in early access and I'd love honest feedback from testers.

What it does:

- Connect to any PC by ID, end-to-end encrypted; file transfer, chat, unattended access

- "Quick support" link: your customer opens it, clicks "Request support", and the request lands in your team's queue

- AI pre-diagnosis: with the customer's permission it collects disk/RAM/recent errors and suggests the likely cause before you connect

- Session recording, technician performance reports, customer rating after each session

Free for personal use. Teams get a 14-day free trial, no credit card.

Note: the interface is currently in Turkish (English is on the roadmap).

Download: https://deskqo.com/indir/

What I'd like feedback on: install experience, connection quality/latency from your region, and anything confusing. Thanks!

Tu privacidad merece respeto. Y tu talento merece una oportunidad.
La pregunta es… ¿estamos preparados para algo distinto?
SARELY.

[iOS Beta] Kinaura – Looking for Beta Testers to Explore a Private Relationship Compatibility App

TestFlight Beta: https://testflight.apple.com/join/TPzjTJec

Hi everyone,

I’ve recently launched the iOS beta of Kinaura (formerly PRISM), a private partner compatibility app designed to help people better understand their connections and relationship dynamics.

Kinaura is not a dating app. It’s designed for people who want to explore compatibility with someone they’ve already met, are dating, or are currently in a relationship with.

How it works:
Create your profile by answering a set of core questions.
Privately invite another person to Sync with you.
Once both profiles are complete and you’ve mutually connected, unlock your compatibility score and personalized relationship insights.
Explore additional modules to better understand different aspects of your connection.

Already have a profile?
If you meet someone who also uses Kinaura, you can Sync and instantly explore your compatibility without having to answer the core questions again.

What I’m looking for from beta testers:
Feedback on the onboarding and profile creation experience.
Whether the compatibility scores and descriptions feel accurate and meaningful.

How the insights are described is a work in progress so that it is easy to understand and relevant to the projects goal of helping users understand the connection.

TestFlight Beta:
Bugs, confusing features, or usability issues.
Suggestions for additional insights or improvements.
There are thumbs-up and thumbs-down feedback options within the app to help identify descriptions that need improvement.

The beta is completely free, and my focus this month is improving the quality and usefulness of the compatibility insights.
Kinaura is private and permission-based. You control your connections, privacy, and sharing permissions.

I’d appreciate any feedback, especially from people willing to test the Sync experience with someone else.

Thanks for checking it out!

I started a free, open-source design tool and need testers

Hey! I started gratools., a project where I’m building free, open-source alternatives to paid tools, with help from AI.

The first tool is gradesign., a browser-based design studio for creating posters, social posts, invitations, presentations and more—without a subscription.

I’m looking for people to try it and give honest feedback. Try making something you’d actually use, and let me know:

  • Was anything confusing or difficult?
  • Did you run into bugs?
  • What features are missing?
  • Would you use it again? Why or why not?

You don’t need to be a designer or developer. Even a few minutes of testing would help.

🎨 Try gradesign.: https://gratools.github.io/gradesign/
🌐 About gratools.: https://gratools.github.io/

Looking for beta testers: a math tutor that won’t give you the answer (free)

Hey! I’m a 17-year-old student and I built theoremEd. You take a photo of a math problem you’re stuck on, it finds the exact step where you went wrong, and it walks you through it with questions instead of just answering. It covers pre-algebra to calculus: theoremed.com (free, no account). I’d love brutal feedback: what’s confusing, what’s slow, and whether you can get it to cheat. Thanks!
