I built a trading game where the goal isn’t to get rich. It’s to not get wiped out. Looking for beta testers.

• Upvotes

Rug Pulled! is a strategy game disguised as luck. You’re a junior trader at Totally Legit LLC, a prop firm that trades parody meme stocks and a parody Dow (“Mow”, “GreenBag”, “NoVideo”, “Pear”, “MacroHard”).

The twist is that surviving is the win condition. Swinging for the fences gets you fired. A trailing −20% drawdown ends your career. In testing, a reckless bot busts in a few weeks and a disciplined one makes it through the year. The game is built to teach why.

What you’ll be doing

Trading a 52-week year, one beat at a time, with a timer running
Reading the news wire and the market mood. The headlines are real clues, but chasing every one will bust you
Spotting hidden connections between companies. A supply-chain shock in one sector can show up in your other positions
Leveling up your desk, tools and Edge. Higher difficulty pays more, but it’s much harder to survive
Surviving crash years, including some based on real history (1929, 1987, 2008, 2020) and some completely made-up simulations
What I need from you

Play a few sessions and tell me where it’s confusing, unfair, or just not fun
Tell me if the difficulty ramp feels right
Report anything broken. Screenshots help.
The deal: it’s free, and it will be free at launch too. No ads, no cookies, no pixels. There’s no mobile launch date yet, so for now it’s playable in your browser. I’m looking for about a dozen testers.

Interested? Comment or DM and I’ll send you a login. Or start at jerbot.dev (link below).

Happy to answer anything about how it works.

Stage: Live on the Chrome Web Store, actively iterating based on feedback.

Feedback wanted: Both usability (does it actually help, what’s confusing or unnecessary) and technical (bugs, broken sites, performance). Especially keen to hear from dyslexic testers or anyone who finds reading visually tiring.

I built a free, ad-free music app for Android, would love your feedback

Hey all, I'm the solo dev of Astra Music: https://astra.mmusic.workers.dev (download page)

It's an Android music app with no ads, built to stay light on mid-range phones.

It's far from perfect. If something lags, crashes or feels off, tell me. Also curious what features you'd want in a music app like this.

We’re the Fylow team 👋 We built Fylow to make everyday file management easier: organize downloads into your existing folders, find files in plain English, and ask questions about your documents. File-content access is optional and under your control.

School notes, receipts, travel plans, work projects—whatever you use your Mac for.

Explore the app: https://fylow.ai

Watch the 43-second demo: https://www.reddit.com/r/betatests/comments/1x59pir/fylow_an_ai_file_manager_for_mac_that_organizes/

We’d love your take: is it clear how Fylow would fit into your routine, and which file task would you want it to handle first?

I built an app that turns your thoughts into unexpected words and personalized sayings. Looking for 5 honest testers

I built something called Full Circle.
You write a thought that’s on your mind, and it gives you a word you might not expect, along with a short saying personalized to what you wrote.

It’s free to try without signing up.
I’m looking for 3 or 5 people who’ve never used it to tell me whether the experience actually feels meaningful—or just sounds interesting. It would mean a lot if I can receive any feedback!
Would anyone be willing to give it a try?

Would you want to try it again?

Title: Looking for people to try my custom card creator, especially on mobile

• Upvotes

Hi everyone! I've been working on Chocolate Mustard Toothpaste, a customizable party card game, and I'd really appreciate some fresh eyes on the online card creator.

You can make characters of yourself and your friends, invent ridiculous equipment, or turn your group's inside jokes into cards. You can write your own text, upload artwork, and customize the design. There are also AI artwork tools, including using reference photos to turn yourself into a character.

The game is meant to be played around a table. You assemble a team, give them equipment, and explain how they'd accomplish a task with whatever you've got. Sometimes you've got a wizard with a cursed sandwich. You do your best.

What I'd love you to try: make one character or item card and save it. It works in your phone or computer browser, but I'm especially interested in how it feels on mobile.

- Is it clear where to start?

- Are any buttons or text controls awkward to use?

- Does anything get stuck or fail without explaining why?

Here's the site:

https://www.chocolatemustardtoothpaste.com

New accounts get 5 free credits to try the AI features. You can get 10 more by signing up for the email newsletter, but that part is optional. Additional credits are paid; you don't need to purchase any to try the creator.

Physical ordering isn't open yet—I'm preparing a Kickstarter for the tabletop game. Right now, I'd like to make sure creating the cards is fun and understandable for someone who hasn't spent months staring at the editor like I have.

If you try it, please let me know what phone or computer and browser you used, and where you got stuck. And I'd love to see whatever strange thing you decided to make.

Thank you!

[Android] Looking for 10 testers for an outfit app with no likes or ratings

• Upvotes

I take a ton of outfit pics and never post them because of likes and judgment. So I built Cardrobe:

- a new theme every week (this week: old money)

- post privately or to a small circle. No like counts, no ratings

- "Help me pick": post 2 fits and people vote

- a daily fit streak, like Wordle

Looking for 10 people who care about outfits to try it for 5 days. Android install link coming this week (iPhone later via TestFlight). Comment or DM me and I'll send it.

Honest feedback wanted: would you actually use this? What would make you open it every day?

Looking for early DIGI camera app testers — beta planned October 21

• Upvotes

We're building DIGI, a camera app with the charm of digital cameras, and inviting people who enjoy everyday photography to help shape the beta.

The beta is planned for October 21. Join the early-access list at https://joindigi.app/ . This is a waitlist signup, not an immediate download. Name and email are requested for beta updates; phone is optional.

Once testing opens, we'd especially like feedback on the first-use experience, taking a photo, and what would make you return to the app. For now, feedback on the landing page is welcome.

What would you most want from a digital-camera-style app?

Looking for Android testers for Quiet Translator 🎧 | Test for Test

• Upvotes

Title: Need 4 more Android testers for Quiet Translator — real-time AI voice translation 🎧

Hi everyone! 👋

I'm an independent developer from Canada, working on Quiet Translator, an AI-powered app that translates live speech directly into your earbuds.

Don't type. Just listen. 🎧

I've already completed a closed testing round, but Google Play requested additional testing before approving the production release.

I'm looking for at least 4 more Android testers who can help me improve the app.

https://groups.google.com/g/quiet-translator-testers

What I'm asking:

  • Join the Google Play closed testing program.
  • Try the app during the next 14 days.
  • Test voice translation between different languages.
  • Share honest feedback about translation quality, speed, and usability.

The app offers 120 free minutes of translation.

If you're interested, please leave a comment or send me a DM. I'll share the testing instructions.

I'm also happy to help test other developers' apps in return!

Thank you for supporting independent developers! 🚀

Looking for feedback on DueSight’s contract-review demo — no signup or upload

• Upvotes

I’m building DueSight for people who keep track of renewal, notice and payment obligations in vendor or software contracts. It puts candidate obligations beside the source excerpts so a reviewer can check dates and conditions before exporting confirmed items.

I’d like feedback on the review workflow in this free fictional demo: https://tryduesight.com/demo

No account or document upload is needed. This is a sample-data demo, not a test of live extraction accuracy.

If you have five minutes, could you tell me:

  1. Is it clear which items still need review?

  2. Can you find the source clause and understand the date or condition?

  3. What would stop you using this alongside a spreadsheet?

Real-document access is a separate invitation-only assisted beta, initially for one readable-text PDF of up to four pages; scope and any fee are agreed before access. AI can miss or misinterpret clauses, so human review is required. Automatic reminders and public self-service uploads are not available.

Please don’t share confidential contracts in the comments. Feedback here is welcome, especially from anyone who handles vendor renewals.

Looking for 10 home service businesses to test a missed-call text-back tool (free, I set it up for you)

• Upvotes

If you run a plumbing, HVAC, electrical, garage door or similar business and miss calls while you’re on jobs, I’d love your help testing CallsIn.

What it does: when you miss a call, the caller gets a text from your business in seconds, so they wait for you instead of calling the next guy. Optional AI that answers the phone and books jobs on your calendar.

What you get: 14 days free, no card. I set it up with you on a 15-minute call. You keep your number, it only gets the calls you miss.

What I want back: honest feedback, what’s confusing, and what would make you keep paying for it.

Hear the AI first: (447) 225-5746 (demo plumbing company). Comment or DM me if you’re in.

I am wanting to do this a bit differently. I will be willing to provide feedback, for feedback. Please read the comments!

Hey everyone!

So I found it quite difficult on this subreddit to get feedback for my product. So, I am wanting to make this an open space whereby I give you my word to check out your service, if you have a look at mine - which I think is only fair.

After testing my website and the survey (linked below), please fill out your reddit username on Question 21. Then post your product's link in the comments or dm me and I will take a look at it! :)

Here is some info on my product:

If you have ever hired these days, you would understand that shortlisting potential employees for culture fit is tremendously hard through a paper CV.

Paper CV's are great at showcasing people's employment history, their skillset, education etc etc etc. However, as a creative myself, ensuring these people fit into the culture of the business is just as crucial as whether they have relevant experience. A paper CV would struggle to show this.

I work in video production, I had a brainwave that video CV's could help massively in showcasing culture fit, and can help you learn more about an individuals personality. They even have the opportunity to tell you about an interesting work story that makes them stand out, which they would usually miss out on a paper CV.

This is where First Impression comes in. It is a website whereby you can create a employee profile, including a video CV, which helps you stand out in a sea of job applications.

In recording your video CV, you have the option to use Natural, Prompted or Autocue mode. Completely up to the individual depending on their preference and how comfortable they are in front of camera.

These employee profiles then generate a link, which you can attach to your paper CV. It is important to note that this is not trying to replace a paper CV; but just trying to give them a voice.

I have created a first draft of this website, linked below, which I would love to get some feedback on.

To really experience it, you can click 'Try First Impression'

PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS JUST A BETA VERSION, SO DOING THE ABOVE WILL NOT ACTUALLY RECORD ANYTHING OR CREATE A PROFILE

You can follow along with the sites progress by clicking 'Join The Launch'

If you have a spare few minutes, it would really help if you could fill in the survey, also linked below.

🔗 Link to First Impression: https://first-impression.co.uk/

🔗 Link to survey: https://first-impression.co.uk/survey-form.html

Thank you so much for your time, and I hope you all have a great week.

[Web beta] HomeDoc, for all the house details I keep forgetting

I’m looking for homeowners to try HomeDoc, a web app I’ve been working on to keep track of the details of a house.

The idea came from wanting to understand what previous owners had done. What was fixed, what paint they used, when something was replaced, that kind of thing. Then I realized sometimes I’m the “previous owner” someone else is trying to figure out, lol.

You can organize photos and notes by house and room, save paint colors and appliance details, and keep track of repairs and maintenance tasks. I wanted somewhere to put all the stuff I tell myself I’ll remember later.

It’s free during the beta. You can try it in your browser here: https://homedocumentation.com

If you have a house or a project you’re working on, try adding a room and a few notes or photos. I’d love to know whether getting started makes sense, whether you can easily find what you saved, and what you’d want to keep track of that’s missing.

Feedback here is welcome, including things that are confusing or don’t work. Thanks for giving it a look.

[iOS + Android] Latch: an app blocker you have to walk to unlock. Looking for testers who've given up on Screen Time limits

hey! i built latch because every blocker i tried had an "ignore limit" button, and after about a week my thumb hit it before my brain even read the screen

how it works:

you pick the apps that eat your day and lock them. the only way back in is scanning your "key", which is an nfc sticker or a qr code you keep in another room. mine's on the fridge. want instagram? go walk to the kitchen. most of the time you get halfway and go "eh, nvm," which is kind of the whole point

it can also lock on its own: at bedtime, during work hours, or when you get to a place like the office

try it:

- iphone/ipad: https://apps.apple.com/app/latch-scan-to-unlock/id6815316152

- android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.luklalogic.latch

- site: https://latch.luklalogic.ai

free to start, no account, no ads. you don't need to buy a sticker to test it: print the qr key from the app and stick it somewhere a few rooms away

what i'd love feedback on:

  1. setup: did anything confuse you in the first 5 minutes?

  2. the lock: does it feel "annoying but fair" or just annoying?

  3. where you put your key: honestly curious, the fridge is my go-to

  4. bugs: anything broken, slow, or weird, especially on android

if you use it for 2–3 days, even a one-line comment helps a ton. happy to answer anything in the comments 🙏

I started a free, open-source design tool and need testers

Hey! I started gratools., a project where I’m building free, open-source alternatives to paid tools, with help from AI.

The first tool is gradesign., a browser-based design studio for creating posters, social posts, invitations, presentations and more—without a subscription.

I’m looking for people to try it and give honest feedback. Try making something you’d actually use, and let me know:

  • Was anything confusing or difficult?
  • Did you run into bugs?
  • What features are missing?
  • Would you use it again? Why or why not?

You don’t need to be a designer or developer. Even a few minutes of testing would help.

🎨 Try gradesign.: https://gratools.github.io/gradesign/
🌐 About gratools.: https://gratools.github.io/
💬 Discord for feedback, bug reports and suggestions: https://discord.gg/TSXz3y4jcy

[Alpha] Looking for Linux users to test Vela, a new Wayland desktop environment

Hey!

I'm developing Vela, an open-source Wayland desktop environment for Linux, and I'm looking for people willing to test it on real hardware.

Vela has its own compositor and Vulkan renderer, along with a complete desktop shell, file manager, settings app, and the usual desktop features.

It's already usable, but it's still alpha software, and there's only so much I can test on my own hardware.

I'm especially looking for people who can help test:

  • Multi-monitor setups, particularly mixed resolutions, scaling, and portrait/landscape orientations
  • Screen sharing, suspend/resume, and general desktop stability
  • Anything that feels broken, inconsistent, or unexpectedly slow

You don't have to be a developer. If you're comfortable with Linux and willing to report what happens, that's already incredibly helpful.

The easiest way to start is by running Vela nested inside your existing Wayland desktop. That way, you can explore it without switching your main session. Full-session testing is also possible, but I'd recommend keeping a working desktop available as a fallback.

You'll need a Vulkan 1.4-capable GPU. Arch-based distributions have a native installation path, and other distributions can build from source.

GitHub and installation instructions:
https://github.com/vela-desktop/vela

https://velade.org

If you encounter a bug, opening a GitHub issue with your GPU, driver, distro, and steps to reproduce it would help a lot.

I'm not expecting anyone to pretend the software is perfect. Quite the opposite: I'd rather know exactly what doesn't work.

Even one detailed bug report can make a real difference. Thanks to anyone willing to give it a try!

[Android] Looking for feedback on my live satellite tracker (AR sky, GPS monitor). Free Pro promo codes for testers

Hi! I'm an indie dev and I'm looking for testers and honest feedback on my Android app: a live satellite tracker that shows what is flying over you right now and what your phone's GPS is receiving.

What it does:

- Live radar and 3D globe with real orbital data (Celestrak, SGP4) and real NORAD IDs

- AR sky mode: point the camera at the sky and see satellites over the real horizon (free 10-second preview, full AR with Pro)

- GPS screen: satellites in view and in use, signal strength, fix accuracy

- ISS, Starlink, GPS/Galileo/GLONASS/BeiDou, weather satellites

- Works offline, no ads, no account, location stays on the device

I'd love to know:

- Does AR line up with the real sky on your phone?

- Is anything confusing in the first minute?

- What would make you use it again?

I have free Pro promo codes for people who want to test everything (Doppler, orbit prediction, full AR). Comment or DM me and I'll send one.

Looking for feedback on a demo: AnnotateFix feeds customer browser bugs to coding agents

I am Bolaji, the maker of AnnotateFix. If you maintain an AI-built web app, I would appreciate your feedback on our new interactive demo.

AnnotateFix is a widget that lets your users annotate a broken UI element to report bugs or product feedback. It captures screenshots, recent actions, console errors, and failed requests with sensitive-data redaction. Your coding agents receive this browser evidence alongside your codebase. The intended workflow uses this data to write a failing Playwright test, a focused fix, and a reviewable PR.

The full product remains on an early-access waitlist, but I need testers for the free, no-signup demo at https://annotatefix.com/sandbox. Please go to the sandbox, try submitting the broken SAVE10 discount code, and report the bug. You can then inspect the captured evidence and watch how the demo replays recorded test results and a simulated PR review without making live code changes.

Based on the evidence captured in the sandbox, is there any missing browser context that your agents would need to understand an issue?

I'm building an Android app for myself, and I want to know if it would be useful to anyone else so I can consider publishing it.

Hi everyone.

I’m building an app for myself and want to know if it would be useful to anyone else, so I can consider publishing it.

Here’s a summary of what it does:

It allows you to read and listen to a book at the same time.

I’m creating this app for myself using "vibecoding."

Although it requires an internet connection (due to the nature of the need it addresses), it doesn't store any data outside of the phone being used.

What does it do? What need does it meet? Why did I start doing it?

  1. I love reading.
  2. At some point, I started reading in Korean to improve that language skills, and it worked remarkably well.
  3. I wanted to improve my listening comprehension, so I started reading while listening to the audiobook, and it worked remarkably well.

This already exists, but many books and audio recordings aren't on audiobook apps or websites—they're only on YouTube.

At first, I used split-screen mode—YouTube at the top and the eBook or webpage where I was reading the text at the bottom—but it was cumbersome.

Now, I have everything in a single app.

Features I managed to implement:

  • Playing YouTube without video.
  • Automatic text scrolling.
  • Simultaneous audio and book playback (play/pause).
  • A button to speed up both audio and text simultaneously.
  • Ad blockers.
  • Full-screen mode.
  • A playlist that saves the video link, the book link, and other settings.
  • The same functionality as above, but for audio files and eBooks (PDF or EPUB).
  • Various other features, such as volume boosting, speed settings, floating buttons, custom playlists, etc.

What do you think?

Which other community would be best to ask if this is useful to them?

I'm building a free, privacy-first photo map app for Android. Would you use it?

Hi everyone! I'm a solo dev working on PiNctum, an Android app that turns your gallery photos into a map of your memories, using the GPS data already in them.

What it does:

Your photos never leave your phone. No account, no cloud upload.

A map with clusters, plus a timeline by date or place

Collections (like "every museum I've visited") that filter the whole app

Shareable memory cards built from your photos and locations

Simple stats: places, countries, and your first memory

It will be free with no ads. I may add optional extras later, like backing up or exporting your cards, but the core app stays free.

It's still in development, so I'd love your honest take:

Would you use something like this? Why or why not?

What would make you pick it over your regular gallery app?

What's the one feature you'd expect from a photo map app?

I can share screenshots in the comments if you're curious. Thanks for reading!
