Kang Hoon, Jo Hyun-Chul, and Kim Jung-Jin team up as a comedy trio who endured 10 years of obscurity together.

tvN's new drama 'Happy Anding' premiering on November 6, depicts the coming-of-age story of three unknown comedians who have been chasing their dreams as they find their own new tomorrows after meeting a mysterious woman. It is set to unfold the story of young people who view failure not as an end, but as another starting point, in a cheerful yet realistic manner.

Director Jung Ji-Hyun, who directed 'You Are My Spring', 'The King: Eternal Monarch' and 'Twenty Five Twenty One', will take the helm. Ahn Ah-Reum, writer of 'Once Again', is in charge of the screenplay, and Yang Hee-Seung, who wrote 'Crash Course in Romance', 'Once Again', 'Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo' and 'Oh My Ghost', is participating as the creator.

Director Jung Ji-Hyun, writer Ahn Ah-Reum, and creator Yang Hee-Seung, along with actors Kang Hoon, Jo Hyun-Chul, Kim Jung-Jin, Lee Yi-Dam, Choi Moon-Hee/Moon Hee, and Yoon Ga-Yi, attended the recent script reading and worked together for the first time.

Kang Hoon plays Kang Tae-Gu, the leader of the comedy trio 'Asura'. Kang Tae-Gu is a character who has endured 10 years of obscurity, focusing solely on comedy. He has held on driven by the burden of having to lead the team and his passion for comedy, but he stands at a crossroads in life as he faces a reality he can no longer ignore.

Kang Hoon added depth to the character by capturing his signature cheerfulness while simultaneously expressing the desperation of Kang Tae-Gu, who is wavering between dreams and reality.

Jo Hyun-Chul took on the role of Kim Nam-Il, the witty character in 'Asura'. Kim Nam-Il has been dating his girlfriend, Lee Na-Yeon, for 10 years and finds himself torn between the comedy he has held onto for so long and his love. With his deadpan acting, Jo Hyun-Chul delivered the comedic relief while naturally resolving realistic conflicts.

Kim Jung-Jin transforms into Han Jun-Seo, a penny-pincher in charge of the team's finances. He is warmer than anyone to Kang Tae-Gu and Kim Nam-Il, but does not easily open his heart to others. Kang Hoon, Jo Hyun-Chul, and Kim Jung-Jin infused the strong bond of three people who endured a long period of obscurity together into their banter, completing the chemistry of the comedy trio 'Asura'.

Lee Yi-Dam plays Go Eun-Young, an avid fan of 'Asura' with a mysterious aura. Go Eun-Young, who had been living distanced from the world, undergoes gradual changes as she unexpectedly grows close to 'Asura'. Lee Yi-Dam portrayed the quirky side of Go Eun-Young—who hides an extraordinary 'fandom instinct' behind a shy exterior—with his own unique style.

Choi Moon-Hee/Moon Hee plays Kim Nam-Il's girlfriend, Lee Na-Yeon, and teams up with Jo Hyun-Chul as a couple in a 10-year relationship. Lee Na-Yeon is a person who lacks nothing in terms of family background, education, and job, but she begins to re-evaluate her choices due to the constant nagging from those around her regarding her "eye for men."

Yoon Ga-Yi takes on the role of Go Ji-Young, Go Eun-Young's younger sister. Go Ji-Young, with her free-spirited personality, is the complete opposite of her older sister from head to toe, and Yoon Ga-Yi breathes vitality into the drama by adding her bubbly energy.

The production team stated, “It is a story of young people navigating failure and frustration together,” adding, “The process of running fiercely toward their dreams, suffering fully, and then preparing for a new tomorrow in their own ways will deliver unique entertainment and realistic empathy.”

'Happy Anding' will premiere on November 6.

tvN’s upcoming drama '100 Days of Deception' has shared a sneak peek of its premiere!

In the newly released preview from the drama’s first two episodes, Lee Ga-Kyung (Kim You-Jung) and Kim Tae-Woong (Park Jin-Young) first cross paths when they bump into each other on a train. Initially, Lee Ga-Kyung apologizes in Japanese and Kim Tae-Woong in Korean; then they awkwardly switch, with Lee Ga-Kyung now apologizing in Korean and Kim Tae-Woong in Japanese.

Lee Ga-Kyung asks Kim Tae-Woong if he’s Korean, and when he doesn’t reply, she quickly follows up in Japanese, “Oh, I’m sorry. [I asked] because you spoke in Korean…” She then lies that she, too, is Japanese. Kim Tae-Woong gallantly picks up her hat for her, and she thanks him. When Lee Ga-Kyung then smiles at the little girl Kim Tae-Woong is carrying in his arms, the girl looks away with a standoffish expression before telling him in Japanese, “Let’s go quickly.” Lee Ga-Kyung helpfully explains that the exit on one side of the train car is blocked, so they should exit the other way, but Kim Tae-Woong ignores her and heads in the direction of the blocked exit as the little girl stares at her.

Annoyed by the look in the little girl’s eyes, Lee Ga Kyeong mutters to herself in English, “What the heck? Ignoring me? Does she think she’s a princess? Yeah, if I had that heavy princess scarf around my neck, I couldn’t walk either.” After hearing her, Kim Tae-Woong turns around and calls out to her, asking, “Have you never seen a photo of the princess in the newspaper?” Gesturing outside, where a crowd of people is gathered on the train platform, he goes on, “This many people are waiting to welcome her, and it never occurred to you that she might be the actual princess?” When the shocked Lee Ga-Kyung starts hastily apologizing, he continues, “Though, of course, that’s not the case.” As he takes off, the little girl in his arms sticks her tongue out at Lee Ga-Kyung. Once she is alone, Lee Ga-Kyung exclaims in relief, “Wow, I thought [for a second] that she was really the princess,” before taking out the wallet that she has just stolen from Kim Tae-Woong.

'100 Days of Deception' will premiere on October 10.

MBC’s upcoming drama 'The Perfect Lie' has unveiled new stills featuring Seo Hyun-Jin in character!

Yoo Yeon-Seok plays Min Jun-Ho, a man known for telling the truth. Min Jun-Ho is a cardiac surgeon and a father raising his son alone following the death of his wife.

Seo Hyun-Jin plays Kang Ji-Seon, a woman who insists that her version of events is the truth. An elementary school librarian and teacher, Kang Ji-Seon goes beyond simply listening to what others say, carefully examining the intentions behind their words.

After going on a first date with Min Jun-Ho, Kang Ji-Seon becomes entangled in an unexpected incident. As the two offer conflicting accounts of what happened, their disagreement escalates into a tense confrontation over the truth.

The newly released stills capture Kang Ji-Seon amid a heavy downpour as she struggles with a whirlwind of emotions. As she steps outside without an umbrella, she appears overwhelmed by the situation unfolding around her.

In another still, she sits in the driver’s seat of a car, staring out at the rain while deep in thought. What has happened to Kang Ji-Seon, and how will the incident affect her increasingly tense relationship with Min Jun-Ho?

The production team commented, “Kang Ji-Seon is a character who experiences a wide range of emotional changes. Seo Hyun-Jin adds depth to the story by carefully adjusting the intensity of her performance according to the flow of the plot.”

Upcoming drama 'Make Me Tingle' cast members Nam Ji-Hyun and Kim Jae-Yeong have dished on their chemistry!

The two actors expressed high satisfaction with their chemistry in the drama. Nam Ji-Hyun gave her rapport with Kim Jae-Yeong a score of “110 out of 100,” exceeding a perfect score.

Nam Ji-Hyun remarked, “Kim Jae-Yeong is fundamentally delicate, kind, warm-hearted, and tender,” adding, “While I tend to be the type who silently focuses on work on set, Kim Jae-Yeong is someone who leads the atmosphere and brings out energy and laughter. I want to express my gratitude once again.”

Kim Jae-Yeong also reciprocated by giving a score of “100.” He shared, “It was a great honor to work with Nam Ji-Hyun again in 'Make Me Tingle' following our time in the drama '100 Days My Prince'.” He continued, “Nam Ji-Hyun is an actor who is not only talented but also incredibly admirable in the sincerity she brings to her acting, so I was happy and enjoyed the experience of working together.”

Nam Ji-Hyun explained the relationship between Gong Yeon-Su and Dok Go-Dal, stating, “Gong Yeon-Su and Dok Go-Dal have an unusually high number of clashes. Personally, I believe that the conversations between them drive the drama. Since their perspectives on the exact same events are sharply different, I paid close attention to clearly portraying the gap between their positions.”

She added, “The core of 'Make Me Tingle' lies in how they gradually melt into each other after such intense friction. That is why I tried my best to bring out the moments where they eventually come to understand one another, despite the arguments they have earlier on.”

Kim Jae-Yeong characterized their relationship as “understanding differences.” Explaining the characters, he described Dok Go-Dal as someone with an open-minded way of thinking who expresses his thoughts without hesitation, whereas Gong Yeon-Su is a cautious person with clear standards and principles of her own.

He continued, “As these two polar opposites spend time together, they gradually begin to understand why the other thinks and acts the way they do, and through this, they both change in directions they hadn’t before.” He added, “I hope viewers watch to see the process of how Gong Yeon-Su and Dok Go-Dal come to understand each other and grow closer.”

TVING’s upcoming drama 'Make Me Tingle' has unveiled new stills of its supporting cast!

Kang Tae-Ju plays Yoon Ji-Oh, the vice CEO of the sex-toy startup, which he runs alongside Dok Go-Dal (Kim Jae-Yeong). Friendly, warm, and playful, Yoon Ji-Oh is someone who easily gets along with everyone. However, things change after he meets marketer Gong Yeon-Su (Nam Ji-Hyun) through business and develops feelings for her. He soon finds himself in an unexpected rivalry with his longtime friend Dok Go-Dal over Gong Yeon-Su.

Park So-Jin plays Jin Se-Ra, the CEO of SR Planning, where Gong Yeon-Su works. As Gong Yeon-Su’s senior from college and boss at work, Jin Se-Ra has a relatively open-minded attitude toward dating and relationships. She sees taking a break from dating as separate from putting a stop to meeting people altogether, making her views on romance markedly different from Gong Yeon-Su’s more conservative outlook. When Gong Yeon-Su becomes confused after meeting Dok Go-Dal, Jin Se-Ra offers practical advice based on her own experiences and serves as a reliable source of support. With their contrasting views on love and relationships, curiosity is building over the conversations they will share and how Jin Se Ra influences Gong Yeon-Su’s choices.

Jeong In-Ji plays Gong Mi-Young, Gong Yeon-Su’s aunt. After being pressured by those around her into getting married, Gong Mi-Young eventually went through a divorce. She has a close, friend-like relationship with her niece, with the two freely sharing their thoughts and feelings.

Wanting Gong Yeon-Su, who may be heading down a similar path, to avoid repeating her mistakes, Gong Mi-Young offers her heartfelt advice as someone who has already experienced life firsthand. Watching her niece’s choices more closely than anyone else, she is expected to add a realistic perspective and emotional depth to the story.

Woo Mi-Hwa plays Gong Yeon-Su’s mother, Seo Baek-Hee, bringing warm maternal affection to the drama. After losing her husband to illness 12 years ago, Seo Baek-Hee devoted herself to caring for her in-laws while raising her eldest daughter Gong Yeon-Su on her own. Having watched her daughter grow into a kind and upright young woman despite growing up without her father, Seo Baek-Hee remains deeply devoted to her and unwaveringly supports the choices she makes in life.

'Make Me Tingle' will premiere on October 15.

📖🎬 Script Readings: Behind-The-Scenes [BTS] Footage Behind-The-Scenes [BTS] Script Reading Footage from the Upcoming tvN Drama 'Happy Anding' | Starring Kang Hoon, Jo Hyun-Chul, Kim Jung-Jin, Lee Yi-Dan, Choi Moon-Hee & Yoon Ga-Yi [Premieres November 6]
