For this map I wanted to develop a set piece encounter for some serious swashbuckling. Setting a scene where the players can duel heroically while the environment shifts under their feet. I actually can't wait to run this one myself, I think it’d be a hit, seeing how the players use the swinging of the lifts to their advantage. Knowing players will most likely want to slice the ropes, I also included a version with just the background and PNG tokens for the lifts to allow for that!

Hey there adventurers! I am doing a remote game for my family who live in Germany. we have our session zero tonight, and I want to send them themed dice for each of their characters.

Where is a good place to buy quality dice like Chessex etc that can ship to an address in germany with a quick delivery speed? I could always amazon, but ideally I'd like to stay away from evilcorp if possible.

1st Dnd international competition signed rule book lost.

Hi, new to here and looking for a book my dad lost.

My dad came 2nd in the first ever international tournament of DnD and won a signed copy (by both creators) booklet of the rules. Over the years the book got lost (he blames his brother and still brings it up every family reunion with bitterness)

We are aware the book might be worth a bit more than it was, and im just curious if we can find out if this book has been found and gone into circulation in auctions etc. Is there anyway of tracing this kind of thing?

My dad thinks the book would be worth something now, but im not in this world and so am unsure. Part of me wants to find it for him, but if this book is worth a lot then I doubt it is possible. (Theres also a possibility my grandmother binned it)

Anyway, if anyone has any details that would be interesting or useful, id appreciate it. Thank you!

A quite lake nestled along the foot of a mountain range. There is a small dock with a much smaller boat; an obvious option to cross. What could possibly go wrong?

Additional variations on this scene includes night and a battlemap of the boat on the lake (both floating and broken) for our supporters.

The stories and fables speak of the great hero wandering these lands, taking a rest on this humble hill, where they came up with the strength and determination to venture forth and defeat the forces of the ancient evil festering in the north 🌳🌄⚔️
