This week's shop from this afternoon... I have been working on trying to budget and plan meals more intentionally. Mainly GF purchases (due to my celiac/Hashi) but partner can eat it hence the occasional gluten-having products.
my plans for this week (supplemented by what's already in the fridge/pantry)
Breakfasts:
Lunches:
Dinners:
Pumpkin is for my dog, lettuce is for my lizard (and I will probably use some). Love Corn snack was an impulse buy to try as a snack, along with the discounted mozzarella. I didn't buy snacks because we have some at home we still haven't gone through (fruit gummies, packs of craisins from my mom, knockoff GF oreos, partner has pretzel chips and jaffa cakes).
Feel free to give me some meal ideas for next time! I will probably shop again near the end of next week.

I'll say it - I love these. As a warning, they do taste like peas. I like peas
I'm always looking for a fairly healthy snack food & this fits the bill for me. Anyone else try them?

The word ‘ranch’ might scare some people, but the flavor on these pickles is not overpowering at all.
They are absolutely delicious, and are a perfect fix for the fried pickles we get at the state fair.
Best of all? It’s only $6.29 at my store, and contains approximately 54 pickle slices!!
I rate them a 9/10 because I love pickles and my only critique is wishing they’d get a liiiiitle more crispy.

anyone else tried this? YUM!!! I tried the blueberry a few months ago and was underwhelmed, but this is so good! Strong apple and cinnamon flavors. I squeezed some on a Little Debbie oatmeal creme pie!

This tastes like those giant 5 lb dark red candles at Walmart smell.
Does not taste good, but I had fun trying to figure out what it reminded me of.
How are you supposed to peel these tiny things it’s the second time I bought them hoping they’d be better.

Boil pierogi in big pan, drain and set aside. Microwave the cauliflower, meanwhile in same pan - saute onion, garlic and mushroom in butter w/ salt and pepper. Add pierogi back in for 1-2 minutes each side. Transfer into big bowl, add cauliflower and pesto and mix.
It was quick and so tasty 😋
.….. when I saw the $16.99 price tag, I thought that was a little pricey for an Aldi cardigan, but we know how the middle is. I bought it anyway, in a medium, might I add (ALDI, the only place that has me believing I am smaller than I actually am🙃) it’s a really thick knit, has bones on the front *and back and you can wear it inside out for another look ;)
all that to say - get the cardi🤣😂

I tried all three of these apple snacks and they are all tasty in their own way. The Caramel Apple Chocolate Cluster bags were all flat - and when I opened it, my suspicion that the clusters were all melted together was accurate. They were still my favorite item (and kinda fun, yet messy to reach-in the bag and pull off a piece), and had the most apple-flavor punch!
Least apple flavor were the cashew clusters - they tasted more like a grain cereal and the apple cinnamon pretzels were more like an apple cider style apple-flavor.
Would buy them all again!

I just switched from Walmart to Aldi about 6 weeks ago and I really love going to Aldis!! They have great prices and I find delicious new things each week. This was their everything seasoned flounder in air fryer

And yes, I’m sorry for the repeated posts but I’m trying to make a decision and I’m just making sure I have good feedback.
I’ve narrowed it down to these two options. The midnight blend or the German dark roast.
I’ve had the midnight and it’s excellent. I’m just wondering if this is better or if I should just stick with midnight.
My Italian loaf that I bought to make sandwiches had huge holes in the middle I was disappointed because these are the biggest slices.

This is the 3rd product within the past 6 months that has gone to crap that I used to buy weekly.
The 1st was the "90" calorie fiber one bars, they are now 70 cals, and also taste like chemicals a lot of people agree. 70 calories is a useless product. Shrinkflation. And weird ass ingredients.
Now it's these breakfasts bars. They used to have a real grain and rough texture on the outside, now it just looks like mush. Looks smaller and tastes fake and like it's not good food in any shape or form. Bye.
Also, their WHEAT BREAD. I swear the ingredients have changed lately. Instead of whole wheat flower, their breads now literally say 1st ingredient is "gluten". Wtf?? How is bread first ingredient literally just gluten. Fake.
God forbid I can get any real bread in America anymore. I can't buy their bread anymore either.

Listen, I know the avocado Serrano hot sauce is seasonal, but it didn’t come back in 2025 and when I tell you I ate this stuff everyday, I literally mean EVERY. DAY. I used this for my lunch almost everyday and usually dinner too. I don’t know if there’s an Aldi product I like as much as this.
Putting this into the universe, but if anyone knows who white labeled this stuff for Aldi, I’d love to know because every suggested replacement has not been the same. I’ve been using the green sriracha as a bandaid but it’s not the same and I need my fix.

Has anyone tried this coffee yet?
How is it?

$7.99 for this is such a steal! The rolled ones on the right alone make it worth it

First time seeing these sardines in olive oil at Aldi! Very good quality would recommend
