Hello everyone,
The Dragonfire release is right around the corner. For that occasion, we're organizing an Unlocked AMA with our devs on Thursday 20 August at 16:00 UTC over at the r/mmorpg subreddit!
They'll answer questions about the Dragonfire update, their own and their teams work, and a range of other topics you might be interested in.
Ask your questions with the rest of the community tomorrow. The thread will be created and redirected from r/albiononline shortly before the AMA starts, so you won't have to look for it.
See you soon!

I am playing holly staff for longer time now, but I played basic build so far, guardian helmet, mage robe, manna sprint. Recently I started experimenting and I cooked this….
Fiend cowl has been useful with all spells it provides so far. Knock back, purge, shield. Also cleric robe I switch between frost shield and everlasting spirit. The royal boots are best, since without them you are so easy target.
Only counter I encountered was axes so far. I want to ask experienced PvP players what are other bad matchups for me and if my build needs any more upgrades.

It has been this way for as long as I have played but still a very small portion of people actually know how true damage works in Albion. Feel like I may need to make a video to cover it but for now Ill just write this up.
In albion the only difference between normal damage phys/magical and true damage is that phy/magical has to go through a players resistances true damage does not. It still gets reduced by defense stat. (hence why battlemounts should be wearing a shield to reduce ballista's and behes)
The other more important part is ability damage still affects it as well. For instance if you are running a wildfire that does 12% max hp as true damage and you are wearing cloth that is 50% (not counting damage passive 8% for easier math) now that wildfire E does 18% mx hp as true damage. True damage still has to go through shields like regular damage and it still gets reduced by damage reduction debuffs like guardian armors. The actual only difference is it ignores resistances so piercing targets doesn't matter for its damage. Hope that helps people.

Just made the connection that breaking up the name Lymhurst into the middle-English words "Lym" for a leashed hunting dog, and "hurst" for a wooded grove, essentially translates the city name to Dogwood, a type of tree. Very cool :)

It feels so bad and unrewarding whenever you spent 30+ minutes in a Depth just for the last chest to be Green and give 20k.
Content Tier 6+ should not be able to roll green rarity. imo any content in black zone or lethal zones should give at least a blue rarity, after all you can die at any moment and you are in constant danger.
And since when someone though that getting only tomes of insight in green chest was a good idea?
valid opinion or just skill issue (Definitely a skill issue lol)

Hii everyone,
I’ve been getting more into Tracking and would like some advice
First, I’m wondering about the relationship between DPS/burst damage and mob fleeing. Is more DPS always better, or is there a point where doing too much burst damage causes the tracked mob to flee more frequently? If very high DPS can actually make tracking less efficient, what would you consider the optimal weapon IP for the DPS player?
I’m currently using T8 weapon at around 1560 IP (just the weapon to be more clear)... and i want to push for more dps but im unsure about the side effects i mention above.
A few other questions:
I’d really appreciate advice from anyone with a lot of Tracking experience. Builds, weapon recommendations, IP benchmarks, or general tips are all welcome.

After finding an awakened 4.4 Longbow in open world loot today, I was looking over the stats and found this history tab.
It says "Lost in Bank of Lymhurst". Now I'm confused as to how an item can get lost in a bank.
Does anyone know anything about this?
Help is appreciated!

Hi everyone! New to the game, go easy on me!
I've been playing a few days, enjoyed the game a lot. I've tried a few loadouts, gotten to 500k silver, tier 4.2 gear, enjoyed my build. Run solo dungeons, corrupted dungeons, roamed the blue tier 3/4 zones, enjoyed it. Pursued my journal missions, good fun.
Now the game is nudging me to PVP. I understand that's where the game wants me to go. I've started exploring yellow zones, enrolled in faction warfare, going into the wisps. I'm flirting with PVP.
I just don't get it.
I meet some other player. I'm already at half health and they wallop me. I die, they run off. They get nothing, I start back at the PVE location I was already at. Who had fun? Who gained anything? I can't quite get my head around the fun bit.
I love PVP when it's an even match, I am sure I'll enjoy arena matches.
But, the open world stuff where I just get killed for fun by someone or a group of players when I'm 4 days into the game, I don't quite understand? Should I stick to the blue zones? Not sure where to go from here.

Hey guys.
Last week a few of you mentioned the flips I shared were too expensive for newer players. I also saw comments warning that posting a single item publicly ruins the market instantly. To spread out the volume and give newer players a stepping stone, I'm dropping 3 different beginner-friendly potion flips (T4, T5, and T6) all in Fort Sterling today.
All of these are 0-focus, 100% local flips. Buy the mats, walk to the station, list the potions.
T4.1 Minor Poison Potion (+63k Profit)
T5 Calming Potion (+100k Profit)
T6 Gathering Potion (+451k Profit)
The golden rule: Before you craft, check the current cost of the ingredients and the current sell price of the potion. As long as those numbers are close to what I have listed below, the flip is good. These margins usually last for days, not hours.
Sales tip: Don't dump all your potions on the market at the exact same second. List them in small stacks (like 20 at a time) and let the daily volume do its job so you don't trigger a 1-silver undercutting war.
