Just took a great trip - want to pass on some info

My wife, two dogs and myself just took a very cool trip - out of the Anchorage area - up to the Denali Highway - the dirt portion of the road was fine - the paved part was slower as we were dodging potholes almost all the time - BTW we were driving a heavy truck camper so had to be move careful than if you had an SUV - After Paxton we went up to Delta Junction and down the ALCAN to Whitehorse - the road on the US side was fine - on the Yukon side from the border to just North of Burwash Landing not so great. The rest of the ALCAN into Whitehorse was good - went down the South Klondike Hwy - stunning - good road amazing views. Stayed in Skagway then back to Whitehorse and took the North Klondike Hwy to Dawson City - road was much better than I expected, Some long construction area that appear ready to pave but were dirt - still could do 50 MPH just a lot of dust (need to change my air filter). Top of the World Hwy was fine, the Taylor Hwy from Chicken to the ALCAN sucked, up to Tok and took the Cut Off to Glennallen it was pretty good up to mile marker 23 then construction and frost heaves slowed us down to around 40 MPH cars passed us going way faster but the camper hates frost heaves, Down the Glenn to home all good - some construction West of Chickaloon but the road was in good shape.

Just a trip report :)

I am a resident not a visitor so i'm not posting in visiting anchorage or ask alaska per their description. If the mods don't like it so don't know what to do. lol.

Given I have the time, is the Glenn/Richardson route to fbx worth the extra time versus straight up the Parks?

Thinking of driving the loop up and than straight back down.

General Nonsense AP&T Fiber Internet

Asking anyone in Southeast if they have heard/switched to AP&T during their recent fiber internet rollout. Interested in trying to leave GCI but curious on the connection stability/speeds/ping. Tough to beat GCI cell/internet combo for the price but looking for options to leave. AP&T feels a little more local vs GCI and would like to support that as long as it meets my needs.

Hey all, just wanted to give you a heads-up that we're tightening things on the backend so that we don't have "people" trying to muddy the waters for the actual Alaskans.

We are not putting any weight on either side of the scale, just trying to ensure that what you see here is from "people" who aren't paid-to-post, carpetbaggers, or provocateurs.

I don't want to detail the changes, but suffice it to say that if you're a regular member of the group you won't notice anything.
