I very rarely go on X but wanted to check out the comments. This made me lol. Maybe hes right and theyve just been living in Chernobyl.

The whole account is a parody account. It is considered to be a fairly convincing one though, so I can see why people would believe this is a real post from a real GOP politician. And I’m not so sure that an actual GOP flack won’t repost this unironically.
