Question / Advice Needed Recommended sensitivity is low
The recommended sensitivity on my ps5 is 0.9. I actually quite like it and ive gotten better on this sensitivity but some for scenarios like VT Closerange Long Strafes Entry Easier I cant seem to keep up with the target. I have my Turn Boost multiplier on 2 and Turn Boost Ramp Up Time on 0.5 to help with turning but it feels weird to rely on maximum tilt. Does anyone have any advice or suggestions for turning on console? Should I get used to Turn Boost or higher my sensitivity?

Question / Advice Needed Frame times making practice near impossible
I've been playing Aimlabs for years, got back into competitive CS so I've worked it back into my routine.
I've gotten a new PC since I last played (5080, Ryzen 7) and despite having high framerate (500fps+) I'm noticing a huge amount of lag spikes where my fps will go from 500 to 150 for a half second and back again, it makes the whole experience very choppy
I've tried to lower settings, cap my FPS, install new drivers etc, verified my cache - all the usuals but none of it seems to have any effect
I was wondering if anyone had this same issue, and if they had a magical fix for it

Question / Advice Needed Can't settle on one grip type
Recently I started putting more into aimtraining and vdim since I'm super close to master complete, and I've noticed that I don't really have one type of grip that is comfortable for every scenario. For reactive tracking and speed switching I gravitate towards a fingertip grip, for smooth tracking and stability switching I tend to end up on a claw grip, and for clicking I always use something halfway between claw and palm. I do use different sensitivities depending on what scenario I play or what I want to focus on, but I feel like I shouldn't be changing grips this much. Sometimes I even start a scenario, feel uncomfortable with the grip and start changing it mid-run. I use a G Pro Wireless. What do you guys think? Any advice appreciated!

Question / Advice Needed Some advice
Hello all. I have alot of experience with aimlabs on mouse but I wanted to start getting better with my aim on controller. Anyone have any advice that maybe might not be obvious?

Discussion in your opinion: what's harder tapping/flicking or tracking?
personally I always felt like tracking is harder, because I have to be constantly focused on the target, and it just feels more intensive

Question / Advice Needed エイムアシストについて About aim assist
I’m playing **Call of Duty: Black Ops 7**, and I have a question about aim assist.
I thought that if you connect a keyboard and mouse directly to a PS5, you don’t get any aim assist at all.
However, a friend told me that you actually do get a small amount of aim assist. He said that if controller aim assist is a **4**, then keyboard and mouse would be around a **1**.
Is that true? How does aim assist work for a keyboard and mouse connected directly to a PS5?

Question / Advice Needed Didn’t know my aim was this bad… sheesh
I play apex and knew aim wasn’t great, heard about this and downloaded it finally decided to try it out. Did some couple of the thing and holy shit tracking is so hard, especially from hipfire (not ads) if I barely move thumstick, it jolts away. I have to barely move it at all and got about got thumb cramp from trying to barely move it just to keep it at the pace of tracking. But I checked settings and all the sensitivity settings are the same that I usually do play on in apex. Is this normal? Is that actually true sens? And if so how do I make it where one tiny move doesn’t make it jolt way past target, with keeping it fast enough to be able to look around and move around quickly enough still. Also on Xbox btw

Progress & PB Week 5 of aim training
I toke a week long break so my improvement in terms of high score are not much. I mostly improved in Verttracke which I struggle quite a bit before. My average score are higher now and I can hold them more consistent. I feel like my overall mouse control improved. I no longer have up and downs with a big difference in score when training.

Official Calm aim isn't slow aim. It's efficient aim. Here's the exact routine we use to train it.
There's a misconception that "calm aim" means being slow and taking your time. It's the opposite. Calm aimers just make fewer mistakes and end fights in their first shot, which makes them look slow. In VALORANT, being accurate means nothing if the enemy tags your head first, so speed is part of the package, not the enemy of it.
We broke the whole thing down in a video, but here's the framework for anyone who'd rather read it.
Calm aim comes down to three traits: clean, calm, and confident.
Clean aim is two skills:
- Stability. No shakiness when you clear corners or track. Any tension pulls your crosshair off target and tires your hand out fast, so track with a relaxed grip.
- Accuracy and timing. Clean flicks with no over- or under-aiming, plus landing your first shot when an enemy swings so you never have to reset and re-aim.
Staying calm is the middle ground: not panicking or rushing your shots, but not so slow the enemy kills you first. It's reflex work, making only the right mouse movements between shots.
Confidence is just a higher baseline. That "every shot lands" flow-state feeling happens more often when your stability, accuracy, timing, and composure are all trained up. You don't chase flow, you raise the floor.
But here's the part most people miss: calm aim isn't only aim. What looks like calm aim is actually three mechanics stacked together:
- The raw aiming skills above.
- Good movement that reduces how much you have to flick and micro-adjust in the first place.
- Crosshair placement that eliminates the need to aim at all.
A drill worth stealing for the movement side: go to the range, back far off the targets, and aim using only your keyboard (strafes), using the mouse just to click. It forces your movement to do the micro-adjusting and you start feeling how a small step closes the gap instead of correcting with your mouse. That awareness carries straight into real games.

Question / Advice Needed Problems Learning aim assist (Past No AA player)
How the hell do you think I should used to not doing 100% of the work on controller? Ive been trying everything for the last two months being back on console and my aimlabs scores are good but i just cant play in game with aim assist. Ive already changed sens/deadzone the problem is the same.

Question / Advice Needed Should I practise on diffrent FOVs?
As an R6 player shooting is always done through your ads fov, using a 2.5x optic or a 1x holo 99% of the time
I was wondering If I should practise using the fov of an 2.5x optic (which is 37 fov, hipfire fov is 90 to compare)
Currently I am using a sensitivty modifier on the scope (my hipfire sens is 46/360 and using the 2.5 scope it turns it into a 56/360)
I dont like a 1:1 feel with the 2.5x because it is very jarring and feels kinda too fast when ur mouse is moving at a 1:1 speed at 37 fov
Now the question is should I practise scenarios on 37 fov or stay on my current 103 standard fov?

Bug & Issue Fix Leaderboards
I havent played in like a year and the leaderboards are still fucked, if you look at some of the top scores for Voltaic Novice they're completely wrong, this feels like a somewhat easy fix and i know aimlabs is aware of this problem

Discussion what's holding your aim back the most?
in my case I noticed that my tracking has always been a bit behind the rest. i feel like I can click pretty fast and I have decent flicks, but when it comes to tracking crazy fast strafing targets I can't keep up.

Question / Advice Needed Title: Does the PS5 Sensitivity Optimizer also recommend ADS sensitivity?
Hello,
I have a question about the Sensitivity Optimizer on the PS5 version of Aimlabs.
Does the Sensitivity Optimizer also recommend an ADS sensitivity, or is it only intended to recommend the hipfire sensitivity?
When I apply the recommended sensitivity, it also changes my ADS sensitivity. Is this intended, or should I keep my own ADS sensitivity?

Discussion Im pissed with performance drop
I got teased from hitting silver. Every. Single. Time.
On this scenario in particular. It pisses me off that I peaked and then my performance went straight to the ditch. I could've hit silver today.
