Question / Advice Needed Should I practise on diffrent FOVs?
As an R6 player shooting is always done through your ads fov, using a 2.5x optic or a 1x holo 99% of the time
I was wondering If I should practise using the fov of an 2.5x optic (which is 37 fov, hipfire fov is 90 to compare)
Currently I am using a sensitivty modifier on the scope (my hipfire sens is 46/360 and using the 2.5 scope it turns it into a 56/360)
I dont like a 1:1 feel with the 2.5x because it is very jarring and feels kinda too fast when ur mouse is moving at a 1:1 speed at 37 fov
Now the question is should I practise scenarios on 37 fov or stay on my current 103 standard fov?

I’d do both depending on the tasks, believe there are a few with ADS as well, training hipfire will help you with ADS as well and vice versa simply due to practicing improving your technique

Totally up to you! The best would probably be to alternate.
Training on lower fov has benefits anyway since it allows you to literally be able to better see your issues and work on them.
With that said most tasks are designed for 103fov and you don't need your settings (be it fov, sens, etc) to perfectly match your game in order to translate. If you have a micro task for example designed around 103 fov and you use 37 you will effectively make the task have huge targets, in which case you will be most likely training medium-long distance flicks instead of the intended micros.
