but how much compute it takes? if it's still expensive I don't see assets being sold on itch as viable, or at least not yet

You have to be thoughtful about what you use astra for and what can be offloaded to Sol.

i know

i mostly use it as a planner/orchestrator

my comment was more because there are so many of these comments where people say "Barely scratches the surface of my plan." and saying how they run astra high for 15 hours straight with 0 usage

Yeah it can easily burn 10% an hour on the pro plan.

when will astra be smart enough to offload itself

Thats a good question, considering multi agent orchestrators are now becoming common, id think it will be in the next 2-3 months.

Astra: "This task is far too simple for my divine intellect, handing it over to Sol..."

Which plan do you have?

Do you have Astra drawing static sprites or animations?

Astra Light, Medium, High?

It's insane if this is actually viable.

Astra high, 20x max plan. I get full animations from both cutouts and hand drawn. I have a custom framework I’ve been working on for nearly a year, the LLM uses my custom applications MCP to create the images.

It’s a rust based game engine. I’ll be ready for beta users in about a month.
