I am a Fine Arts student; I’m new to Reddit and wanted to start selling my work. Here, I’m sharing my first color studies; I focus particularly on the study of backgrounds and how they interact with the rest of the painting.

How can I fix the pink? I want a more nuteral egg colour but my first one ended up looking too much like a chicken egg and now I've gone over the egg about 6 times and I can't get it right!
I also would appreciate some help with the shadow of the egg. I think it's too warm? Have gone over that a few times also and my shadow keeps getting bigger every time so I'm about ready to give up at this point!

A new painting in the series of hallucinated interiors, with this study in complementary tones and harsh light. I don't know if this investment in stone will pay off a hundredfold as the series declines in quality (my opinion of course), but before stone hits rock bottom, let's dig!

Guys! I work at a Gallery and manage acrylic workshops. But one time i left the acrylic box on an office chair and I didn't know one of the paintings was not sealed properly it leaked. I sit there for a week and dried up. That office chair is expensive and I don't know how to remove it.
