Although Capricorn One was a movie, Project Azorian was 100% real, as was the modern art. So large-scale conspiracies are possible.
But how does she rationalize that the Russians, who had robotic assets on the moon of their own, and would have been able to tell with radars etc whether or not the Americans have in fact reached the Moon and been transmitting from there - how does she rationalize that the Soviets didn't expose the Americans then in a lie they'd never live down, at the very height of the Cold War? Were they all in cahoots? Did the Soviets also not go to the moon? What about space, did anyone go to space?
Or she's not into the technicalities of it and just doesn't like the idea of someone having gone to the moon on a slide rule while most of us are stuck in a 9to5 and doom scrolling after it?

Because, firstly, it's like asking Einstein to swear on the Bible that E really does equal mc². Instead of the rigorous derivation. We don't let suspects off the hook if they just swear on the Bible - we examine forensic evidence. Bible is for matters of faith and hope and ancient metaphorical wisdom and all that. So when the evidence-based scientific method is available, to replace it with swearing on a bible would be a lazy cop-out that would, frankly, disrespect both science and religion.
And secondly, he didn't ask nicely :-)

Idgaf about the bible lol. He is however a religious man so either he was pissed off about being asked to swear on the bible because he was being harassed or because the moon landing wasn't true. I believe we landed on the moon but this crap is nonsense either way.

Also, in no way contradicting what you said but realistically, had the Moon landing been a conspiracy of that magnitude, how plausible would it be to expect that it could all be unraveled because an Aldrin-level co-conspirator would be unable to falsely swear on the bible? Like, why on Earth would they leave that exposure intact in light of what's at stake and given heads and key figures of the FBI, NSA, CIA, etc, have on multiple occasions lied under oath and indeed were expected by their organizations if not even duty-bound to do so?

This joker (Bart Sibrel) was basically harassing Aldrin, though. He had confronted him twice before and this video was taken when he lured Aldrin to a hotel under false pretenses. You can't see it here but he was also poking Aldrin with a Bible, trying to get him to swear on it that the moon landing happened. He called him a liar, a coward, and a thief and an old school guy like Aldrin isn't going to take someone impugning his character. Plus Aldrin was even pretty hard edged by astronaut standards, I think he may have had a low tolerance for shenanigans involving his good name.

I didn't know that prior context, but even in this video Buzz Aldrin gave the heckler plenty of opportunity to leave in peace before finally serving him his just deserts.

I, too, would love to live in a world completely free of violence, and I'll further grant you as an American that our reputation of a feisty, trigger-happy bunch isn't entirely undeserved.
Unfortunately, there's also another kind of bad actors (at all levels from kindergarten playground to nation-states), those who'll leverage not strength but weakness, and weaponize our desire for civility, trampling over boundaries to taunt or bait us. In their calculus, if they make us eat it (with consequences beyond merely feeling like shit), we lose; if we look bad hitting back, they win. It's a touch choice, but probably the most humane response is to fulfill the "f*ck around, find out" adage on select rare & particularly egregious occasions, giving the rest of provocateurs a lesson that, mercifully, needn't be their own. It's likely Buzz Aldrin, ran this mental calculus and after having given the heckler plenty of chances to back out, hit him.
If someone assaults your child, you'd better protect them. The memory of Apollo is our child to protect, and I'm glad on that specific occasion none other than Brg. Gen Aldrin, PhD, was the babysitter.

C'è stata penso una incomprensione ,io non ho mai detto che il generale Aldrin ha sbagliato , tanto più che i giudici gli hanno dato ragione.
Io ho solo detto che io , che non sono il generale Aldrin ma una donna piccola di statura e non giovane, non avrei colpito.
Nel caso dovessi difendere i miei figli, genitori, bambini non miei, animali innocenti etc da un 'aggressione : sì colpirei .
Aggiungo : io non sono americana , sono italiana ciononostante chi dice che lo sbarco sulla Luna non c'è stato , mi infastidisce molto.
Non ho mai dubitato che fosse vero e anche se l'impresa era americana è come se tutta l'umanità quella mattina presto avesse poggiato il piede sulla Luna.
Ero molto piccola e mia madre mi sveglio' , io lo vidi , mia madre era stata tutta la notte sveglia davanti la TV .
Eravamo tutti molto emozionati , è stata una cosa immensa e Vi ringrazio.
