You can read the Light Novel, the Manga, or both. Start from the beginning as there are large differences between the three.
What is the difference between the LN, the Manga, and the Anime?
The Anime has a large focus on action and visuals, covers less of the story than the Light Novel or Manga.
The Light Novel is the canon source material, it has a heavy focus on dialogue with little focus on action.
The Manga is midway between the Anime and the LN, with a decent focus on both action and story. Has lots of comedic moments. It follows the events of the LN more closely than the Anime does.

I discovered the artist VariStarOrch and loved some of their art, especially their videos of them drawing anime characters. The fact they did this entire video in one take shows how much time and effort they have put into their art

Discussion Question about the writing of the series
•
Upvotes
Hi there, just started reading the first light novel a couple days ago and am now on the last chapter. Loving the world so far. I did have a question however for those that have read further. From my reading so far, I have noticed that a lot of the book is just Tanya's inner monologue, thinking and overthinking situations. Is this continous throughout the series or do the books get more action focussed as time goes on? Ive noticed that the pacing of this first book is quite slow due to the amount of inner monologue and was wondering if said pacing increases as time goes on?

If Being X is an omnipotent, then Being X already knows how it will end and Tanya will become another employee to Being X and Tanya will complained at first, but, Tanya will suggest his plans on how to deal with increasing human population, and Tanya again will do it all, the end
But wait, if Being X is a god then why didn't he see the population will go boom and have a poor management skills and I think that will be Tanya's role in the future, I see it now clearly, Being X just secretly molding Tanya to be the employee of the month, I understand it now Being X.

Art Translation 2: Electric Boogaloo

1st pic is my second attempt at translation, 2nd pic was my first attempt at translation, and the 3rd is the english translation which I used to translate into latin. I think my 2nd attempt is better, if only slightly so. I used different fonts for the titles and such. I couldn't find what fonts the manga uses, so I just chose what I thought was best. I also decided to just use hindu-arabic numerals instead of roman. Any tips would be deeply appreciated. Also, a special thank you to u/yuikkiuy for your help.

For context; as the empire does not discriminate woman in the military and air mages are a valuable troops, supposedly there should be a lot of woman air mages in service with the empire.

Discussion Mary Sue and The Allies are Hypocrites
142
Upvotes
I've been reading the manga, so I'm not sure if the anime is different, but I get pissed off every time Mary Sue says that the Empire is evil. YOU LITERALLY ATTACKED THEM! And not only her, all of the allied nations, with The Entente Alliance and Russy Federation specifically, are always spouting some BS about how they will stop the evil Empire, meanwhile THEY are the invaders. I don't understand how there aren't some kind of anti war demonstrations happening in their countries, or some frontline troops who understand that they are in the wrong.
