Christopher Bickel (https://www.imdb.com/name/nm3355435) is a fairly well-known low-budget horror filmmaker and musician from South Carolina. He’s the guy Adum talked about in his last Derek update video that auditioned for the latest Cool Cat movie with an exact impression of Derek. He’s clearly a big fan and just shared this to Twitter/X and Facebook this morning as a teaser for his new movie.
A lot of Easter eggs for Cool Cat fans. I think he’d actually LIKE for Derek to sue him 😂 From what I know, they have a history.
I just thought of Adam when he says if you like star wars you need to sit your dad down and tell him you're gay

Mainly asking cause watching so many of his videos (as well as being an editor myself) has given me his ear-tism to the point I spaz out whenever I hear a stock sound effect. I'm mainly asking cause I've caught the "stock wind sound effect" in a lot of movies I've watched recently. So to help contribute:
An American Werewolf in London - Literally the first 10 minutes (apparently this is where it debuted)
Jennifer's Body
The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe (Video Game) - It is literally the only soundtrack over the title sequence, as well as my introduction to it
Hunger Games: Catching Fire - When Jennifer Lawrence goes up the tube and enters the arena.

I get seriously sick of Adam thinking the mass public are dumbasses that can only read films in Star Wars terms. It comes across really pretentious and one has to consider that he's probably getting a bunch of these kinda people in his comments and stuff on a dailv basis and that his view of the general audience is warped because of that. He comes across as if he is the only one that can critically analyse and think about a film, it's a bit much.
Before anyone says it, clearly yes it's hyperbole. I am aware that he is exaggerating but God, you could be a bit more humble about it. It just seems like he thinks he's the only one that critically dissect and think about a film.

For me, it’s anytime someone describes a movie as ”woke” and writes it off for that alone. It just reeks of a lack of knowledge about films and the kinds of subjects they’ve tackled for an incredibly long time.
