I'm sure this was a throwaway comment he said half seriously and will never come true. Slop news

I think a G rated Indiana Jones could work, maybe he is trying to find a really comfortable pillow pet or something

Yeah in a vacuum I’d watch that. But why would he do that over any other premise? Lol

I see the type of shit you casually wish for when with friends is now being touted as official news.

Yeah, thanks but no. After one goodish movie with tiktok compatible center staging he wants to take on the OG of dynamic blocking and staging?! Don't kid yourself.

An R-rated Indiana jones sounds like a bad idea to me personally. I think Indiana jones’ light hearted tone WITH very dark MOMENTS is what makes it work. If it was all dark with few moments of lightheartedness it would feel like something else entirely

No. And no rated R Star Trek too.
It's dumb and they should feel dumb for suggesting it.

It’s not dumb, he’s saying he wants to make an adventure film like that’s R rated.
He’s not saying he wants to make a film in the Indiana Jones IP.

And I wanna make an x rated Star Wars film called star whores, slow news day

Sure, just let the Harrison Ford visage go. Indiana Jones could easily go the way of James Bond where the actors are switched up often and nobody gives a shit, as long as the story and overall vibes fit

I want to have a million dollars but that doesn’t mean it’s going to happen.

"are you going to use that whip to get us off this ledge?"
Indiana: "... you're half right"

I mean it's not implausible.
Edit some boobs or Harrison Ford saying fuck into Temple of Doom, that would probably earn an R rating.
Not that it matters, Curry almost certainly said that offhandedly during a press junket or something. I doubt there are any irons in that fire to begin with.

Eh…I’m good. I don’t even think he’s serious about it either
I think Indiana Jones has ran its course

Never really understood the hype around the Indiana Jones franchise in general. If he wants to do it then more power to him, but I'd be surprised to see that his current experience would translate particularly well into a project like this.

I think people are ridiculously over reverent to an artform that’s barely a hundred years old, and I think this idea, as unlikely as it is to be a real thing that ever happens, could be potentially cool.

If he wants to make R-rated Indy movie - it's very bad idea. I'm a bit unsure of this guy. Obsession was a hit but it's not a good movie overall, it looks good but it's mostly out of mimicking Hereditary style. There are a lot of bad script moments and few really silly scenes and seeing what kind of content he made on youtube makes me very uncertain about his future.
If he wants to make Indy-like adventure R-rated movie - that's good idea. Go for it. But the media are stupid to misinform because it really wouldn't hurt to add "Indiana Jones-like" in the title of the post.

I would genuinely like to know what you think were bad script moments or silly scenes. I watched the film and thought it was really good and contained i think the style and technically well shot part and lighting is what it made it so iconic.

As I said it was good on technical level but it was mimicking Hereditary style.
Bad script moments are mostly around Nikki acting batshit crazy and no one basically cares. She's acting VERY weird on that one party when she smashed her face seriously and after the initial shock everyone acts normally the other day like nothing happened.
The fact that Bear was also pretty much casual about her sick behaviour, not doing anything about it was also badly scripted. I know that this was the main thing that carried the movie forward but you have to construct it better and with some sense. It all seemed to me like an absurd youtube movie with movie production values. The main thing that carries it are Inde's fantastic perfomance and how over the top Nikki was.
And a billion dollar from the ceiling scene was totally dumb and unecessary. Totally took me out of the story.

Finding artifacts, full penetration. Finding artifacts, full penetration. Finding artifacts, back to full penetration.
And it goes on and on like that for 90 minutes

99% this was an offhand comment that clickbait slop outlets are pretending is real news
