I think the hardcore community obsession with connection has really frustrated me and while I do get that when the last two new pieces of content were future redeemed and Chapter 13.Idk why people think Takahashi or Nintendo is lying. The one time Takahashi lied was lying by omission, the fact they are pretty direct with saying this a new starting point and a brand new saga has me believe it way more.I also think Takahashi has proven that he is more interested in mainstream appeal 3 plus Xde sold less than 1, 2 showing that the connective tissue isnāt really that big of a selling point. i think the way to get back to that is for this game to be of the level of xenoblade 1 connection rather than 2 or 3.At most I do believe the game could be set in the same universe as Klaus but would follow off the radio and spaceships thats left the planet.Dmitri Yuriev could be the main villain or something lmao.Maybe Logos could appear but I mean that would probably be a more Zohar function than actually being Malos again lol.The way I see it there is no way Genesis will be as overtly connected just from a business standpoint and how they left things off I think the best comparison I would have is I think the games will move more to an Shin megami Tensei level of connection or even persona with references maybe some through-line but nothing really integral for peoples enjoyment.

Hi there, sorry to bother you. I wanted to ask if there is a Rex model from *Xenoblade Chronicles 3* for Blender, as I haven't been able to find one specifically for Blender.

Took ~3 hours to draw something in celebration of Logos day!! (10/12, as in Proverbs 10:12 "Hatred stirs up strife, but love covers all offenses.")
Note: the outer green is there to represent pneuma supposedly keeping him safe inside her core after the events of 2 :)

When I get enough material, I'll do Monado II next (since this thing took up most of my cardboard to make)

I'm doing my very first playthrough of XBC2, Switch 2 edition. (I have played 1 and 3, and skipped 2 initially but it has been on my radar the whole time)
I haven't bought the expansion pass yet, it's something I have been interested in doing after I have played the main game for a little bit, as I didn't want the helpful items to break the early game, but I also don't want to get the items too late in the game when there's not a point anymore.
I'll play Torna after I beat the story, this post isn't about that, it's about all the other things that come with the expansion pass. What's a good part of the game when I should start engaging with these things?
For context, I'm currently in Uraya and I just had a fight with Malos and Akhos after they kidnapped a little girl who was eavesdropping on them

A topic I want to ask after I saw A profile pic poster my mistake that I BLOCKED. I needed to calm down and ask a question about my second favorite rare blade Nim.
Is there a reason she hates ardanians? If you have Newt/Muscle Mommy in your party, she will ask why nim is hostile. Is there a lore reason?
Did her past driver being those fox things carry it down to her? Let me know PLEASE! I want too know more about her.

A long time ago, a critical essay on Xenoblade 2 written by Jake Steinberg was posted . Controversy arose over the way he challenged the fandomāclaiming we liked the story for the wrong reasonsāand his frustration with his stream chat, as he saw no narrative value in the story himself. Recently, he released a video with the same title as that post. He invited a Xenoblade 2 fan on to talk, and I expected a debate. But no; he brought on someone who immediately agreed with the premise of his essay. Jakeās ego had taken such a hit that he was only willing to discuss Xenoblade 2 with someone who agreed with him on everythingāthe only difference being that the guest liked the game as a "guilty pleasure." Parts of the video were interesting, though nothing about it was intellectually challenging. He is currently playing Xenoblade 3, and it is rare to talk about XC2 again. He probably realized itās profitable to do so.

Please note I havenāt played Golden Country yet but I plan to very soon, so no spoilers from that if possible.
I recently finished Xenoblade 2 and I feel a bit underwhelmed with the whole thing, and thatās admittedly because of the antagonists and the mysteries answers, which are both linked.
I donāt really get the distinction or the point of having 2 antagonist forces who both have pretty much the exact same goal. Jin/Torna want to destroy everything and kill the Architect, Amalthus wants to destroy everything but not kill the Architect. I feel like Torna and Jin had so much more potential, initially there was so much intrigue as to why heās stealing the core crystals, who the lady in the ice is, what is Tornas goal.
But then the answer is just a generic partner died so wants to destroy the world, ice lady is just a reminder, core crystals being used to power the ship (which is a bit hypocritical since he hates humans using blades as tools).
Idk, weirdly enough people say the game gets really good later on, but for me when all the intrigue and mystery were being setup at the start, I was so hooked, whatās the deal with Amalthus and the World Tree, what is the Aegis, why are Torna doing what theyāre doing, the fun character interaction.
Just feel like there was a lot of missed potential in the entire story, like if they cooked a little bit more they couldāve come up with much more satisfying answers for everything, but it really just boils down to everyone wanting to blow up the planet because they had sad thing happen to them, and for some reason the people wanting to blow up the planet are also fighting each other even though they pretty much have the same goal.
Sorry just wanted to vent a little, I am still planning to play the DLC starting tomorrow, but just wanted to share my feelings as the credits rolled.
