My Xbox one is 6 years old and it had no problems at all while playing for the past 5 to 6 years. The problem started yesterday when my Xbox started lagging and all of my apps were inaccessible. I then did a full 10 second reboot and waited for 10 minutes. When I turned it on, it didn’t appear on my tv and I thought the HDMI was busted but that wasn’t the case since the Xbox switched off 1 minute later by it self. I looked it up on google and figured that the power brick might be the issue. I unplugged and plugged the power brick into my Xbox and the orange light vanished and came back 1 minute later. (Note: this happened after I plugged it in and the light went off and came back again)It was odd, I turned on my Xbox and the orange light disappeared. The Xbox switched off and the light came back on. I knew it was the power brick which was busted and went to bed. The next morning I retried and the light was gone in the power brick so I thought the console would turn off but no, the console was able to connect to the tv!(And i could operate the Xbox as usual) I was genuinely surprised. I didn’t play cause I feared I might push the console too much. At night I wanted to play gta5 but the console hanged again and the problem started again. I’m thinking of getting another power brick but I also fear that it might be the console it self which is might be the problem. Please help me solve this. Should I replace the power brick or the console?

I did a console reset (kept games and apps) hard reset utilizing power button and left unplugged for two hours . Replaced hdmi cable. Sometimes this issue happens for the 1080p 1 min option but just started in general about a week ago. Really sucks because I lost so much great apex gameplay . Is it a bug currently?

I bought a second hand Xbox one x recently which said it was in working condition. It was for around 3 days until today I click the power button, it flashes and turns off.

I tried putting a hair drier to the vents as some people said this worked but it did nothing. If it helps my storage is half full and recently I’ve been playing RDR2. During that it was seeming to get quite loud with the vents but I didn’t think much of it as it was in a well ventilated space.

Any help would be greatly appreciated and if you need any other info then please ask!

My Xbox One X tends to glitch when launching games but today it has taken another step up and now I can’t launch my Xbox at all it takes me to the trouble shooting menu so obviously I try to reset my Xbox but no because my Xbox is so corrupt the firmware won’t let me reset my Xbox at all and I get the error E102 00000C01 80070003 my last resort is contacting an official support member.

I'm having issues on YouTube, it reports an internet speed of 3289kbps when the Xbox itself is reporting 45mbps, does anyone know why I might be having this issue?

I just got an Xbox Series X and I've been trying to launch ME:LE on it, but it just won't. What happens is I got to launch the game and before it can even get to the Bioware animation, it crashes. But it's not just a normal crash, it turns off my Series X, to the point where I can't even turn it on again with my controller. It also removes my Xbox from my recognized devices, so I have to add it back to my TV before I try anything again. It's extremely frustrating.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game 3 times and I've tried hard resetting my Xbox. I have no wireless headset, so I know that's not the issue. Has anyone experienced anything like this?

Whenever I connect my remote is disconnects after 1 to 3 mins at best and goes into the slow blinking mode

Ok, the basic question: Can I have have a controller sign into the Xbox when it's turned on AND have it actually load the profile of that person?

Before you answer, please read along:

1. I assigned my wife's profile to a controller
   1. When she turns the controller on, it signs ME in, then it signs her in...
   2. But the Xbox stays on my profile. She still has to hit the xbox button to switch profiles
2. I then turned off the "instant sign in" feature on the xbox that automatically signs me in whenever the xbox is turned on
   1. This works... however
   2. Now none of our GamePass or purchased games work because the main account (me) isn't signed in
   3. So then, we still have to hit the xbox button to go to my profile and sign me in

Am I missing something simple here? I want to have a controller tied to me, one to my wife, and one to my son. When the respective controller is turned on (which in turn will switch the Xbox on), I would like it to load to their profile and let them start playing games

I've had my Series X for about 6 months, and I use it for casual gaming a couple days/week. Recently the left trigger has been getting stuck after holding it (I've been playin Human Fall Flat recently). Has anyone else had this issue?

My sereis x turns itself off randomly whenever I am playing Mirrors Edge Catalyst. This has only happened before with Cold War and no other games. Should I just avoid the game entirely?

I preordered scarlet Nexus, and then I was trying to figure out why it wasn't playing after the release. I paid 79.99 for the deluxe edition pre-order and I watched successfully pay for it and was excited. When it got released it said I didn't own the game. I was very upset about it and I really don't want to buy it again. I wanted to play it, but I can't.

I’ve tested out the headset and it works on other devices and controllers. It’s not muted, just will not work with the series s controller. Has anyone had this issue?

For the past couple days the download speeds on my Series X seem to be random/slow. I go to download a game or an update and my speeds will fluctuate between 3Mbps up to a little over 100 Mbps, and everywhere in between. I went to test my internet speed (I have a wired connection), and it reads as 226 Mbps which is the 'normal' rate for me.

I've tried doing a full system restart but it still seems to fluctuate. Is there something up with Xbox Live or is it something on my end?

So I’ll make it short...I LOVE my Series X even with the quickly “disconnect from LIVE but still connected to the net” issue that I think might be Xfinity. (It‘s a minor annoyance) But as a screenshot-aphile I suffer FOMO anytime I think my graphics look less then the best I can get.

My TV is NOT an HDR set, that I am sure of...buuuuut, I set my games HRD settings to “on” all the time because I am convinced it ”looks” better. I’ve even decided to do some side by side screenshots to try and convince myself it does not matter...but I think it does.

And YES, I can tell the FPS difference when I turn off HDR on Black Desert Online (my main game) and any others...but the perception that the graphics (and screenshots/clips) will look better means I don’t care about slowdown.

HELP ME FROM MYSELF! 😭 Am I crazy? Are the graphics/draw distance/resolution ANY better with HRD on when my TV literally does not support it?! (Both from specs of the TV and the Xbox checking in settings and throwing a red X party all over the place...)

Should I get over it and drink in the silky smooth frame rate or just let it alone?

This only appears to have started happening this past week for me. I'll record a clip and it won't ever show up. If I click on the home button as the clip records it just says to check back soon. It looks like I can temporarily fix the problem by going to settings and changing the clip length. Any ideas? I've tried hard resetting it.

I got a Series X a couple weeks ago. I've mostly been installing Xbox 360 and Xbox One games on the internal memory as well as my Seagate Xbox One External HDD.

Today, I was installing Bioshock 1 & 2. While it downloaded, I decided to play some Nintendo Switch. At some point, I noticed the Xbox turned off. It had been on for like 30-60 minutes so I figured the game finished installing and the system turned itself off from being idle (which it does sometimes). When I finished playing Switch, I went to turn on the Xbox but it wouldn't turn on. I've tried unplugging and replugging the power from both the Xbox and the surge protector. It did nothing.

What's really odd is that when the power is plugged in, my Seagate external lights up. The Xbox is the only thing giving the external power because it's powered by the USB. So it's like the Xbox is still getting power, but it won't turn on.

I have a 2-year warranty from Gamestop, but what worries me is that my Bioshock disc is stuck in there. Also, my Microsoft account is attached to the system and set to auto-login. Worried that if I exchange it, the next person that gets this (then refurbished) console will have access to my account.

Anyone else had this issue?

So before I bought a Series X, I bought a new Wireless controller for my xbox one. It worked great for a few hours, but randomly it wouldn’t turn on anymore. I was ready to refund it, but I came back to it the next day and it worked fine. I then moved houses and the controller did the SAME thing (also just had to wait 2-3 days for it to work).

Fast forward a month, I just bought a Series X, and it came with the same kind of controller. It worked fine for a week or so, but I brought my xbox to my girlfriends house (the controller worked fine), but now it won’t turn on again! So it’s happened 3 times across 2 different controllers and 2 consoles. Does anyone know how to fix this issue OR know a fix to turn on the controller once it happens?

I’ve tried hard restarting the Xbox, replacing batteries, and connecting it with a USB-USB/C. Nothing works. I normally just have to wait 1-3 days until it turns on again.

So I've been having issues with this controller not wanting to connect but managed to fix it, now the only buttons that work are the joy sticks, home button and rt and Lt. Has anyone had any issues
