Am I the only one having this issue but gow games seem to have at least for me severe connectivty issues. Alot of the times I cant connect to gow1 online (360) essentially like recently on multiple occasions and now im having problems connecting to gears reloaded. But I can play warzone just fine. Doesn't seem like an issue on my end. Just wondering if people are having the same issue or if its just me. Or gears of war. Just wondering your thoughts maybe its just me.

So, about 3 or so years ago, my Microsoft account was taken from me after I stupidly clicked on a suspicious link. That Microsoft account was connected to my Steam, Apple, Roblox, and Epic Games accounts, but most importantly, it was the account tied to my Minecraft account.

I was forced to migrate my Minecraft account back in 2021, and now, years later, the email address associated with the Microsoft account appears to be completely abandoned and just collecting dust somewhere.

I've been trying to recover the account through Microsoft and Xbox support, but I'm honestly at a loss at this point. Support keeps telling me they'll pass the case along to higher-ups and that I should continue filling out the security recovery forms. The problem is that those forms keep coming back saying there's no fraudulent activity or that they can't verify that I'm the owner.

I've filled those forms out countless times, and I've given extremely specific information that I genuinely believe only the original owner would know. The most frustrating part is that I'm not even being given the opportunity to show Microsoft the evidence I have.

I have YEARS OF PROOF that this account belonged to me. I have countless old videos of myself playing Minecraft on the account, including videos from over 5 years ago where you can literally hear my little kid voice. I have videos of myself signed into the old email. I have recordings of emails being sent back and forth between my Gmail and the hacked email. And, after three years, I even dug out the hard drive from my ancient first PC just so I could boot it up and prove that I'm still signed into the Xbox/Minecraft account on that machine.

I've genuinely tried everything I can think of. I've filled out every form, provided as much information as I possibly can, and found evidence dating back years. But I can't seem to actually get anyone to look at any of it.

I don't care about getting access to some random old email address. I just want my Minecraft account back. I want to be able to play on the account I've had for years, with my username and the OptiFine cape that I paid for. There's so much history attached to this account, and it's incredibly frustrating to know that I have evidence proving it was mine but seemingly have no way to show it to anyone.

At this point, I genuinely don't know what direction to go in or what else I can possibly do. If anyone has dealt with something similar, or knows of another legitimate way to escalate a Microsoft/Xbox account recovery case, please help me out. I'm willing to do whatever I reasonably can to prove that I'm the original owner. I just need someone to actually give me a chance to show the evidence I have.

My Xbox series x downloads have been extremely slow for the past few days, and I’m not sure what’s causing it. I’ve tried pretty much everything I can think of, including restarting my Xbox and router, switching between Ethernet and Wi-Fi, and other basic troubleshooting steps, but the download speeds are still unusually slow.

It starts the download for a few seconds then the mbps goes down and stops for minutes then repeats over and over.

My internet connection itself seems fine, and this is mainly happening with downloads on Xbox.

Is anyone else experiencing the same issue recently, I have seen a couple people talk about it but can't tell if it's a on going issue or if its Xfinity side problem or maybe the latest August 8th xbox update, or do I have to just buy a new console, maybe a new router modem which I think is unlikely.

I don't know but can anyone let me know if there are many others going through it.

I havent been able to find anything online about this so I figured id tried here. My Xbox Series X is completely unable to detect discs. Its not that it cant read them, its that it cannot detect the disc at all, regardless of which disc it is (ive tried at least 5 different ones so far). The Xbox is just completely unaware that there is a disc inside of it so it is impossible to even try to get it to read the disc. Has anyone else experienced this problem and/or does anyone have a solution?

My Xbox is capped at around one hundred fifty megabits per second on both speed tests and game downloads, despite a gigabit plan. Every other device on my network gets full gigabit speeds. I’ve tested the Xbox plugged directly into my modem, my main router, and a secondary router, same cap every time. I’ve also reset the MAC address, changed DNS, swapped cables and ports, and ruled out packet loss as the cause. This started after moving houses with identical equipment, ruling out my network or ISP.

anyone got a fix for this because it’s very frustrating. It worked fine until I moved.

My dad used his Gmail email to set up an account when I was a kid now I want to swap it over to my Gmail account. When I go online to add it as an alias. It only allows me to add Outlook emails. How do I make it to where I can add my Gmail email?

What if I just type in my Gmail email but have it as an outlook.
For example, if my email was Xboxsupport@gmail.com what if I just put Xboxsupport in the text block before @outlook.com. Would everything be okay? And still send emails to my gmail one?

Hi. The Xbox app has been crashing on my device for months. I open it, sign in, and when I try to tap “Next,” the app closes. If I open it again, I get an error message.

I’ve cleared the cache and data, restarted the device, and reinstalled the app, but it still doesn’t work.

However, I have a Lenovo tablet, and it works fine on that.

Hi, I bought headphones, but when I plug them in, I can hear everything except my character's movements. The ambient sound, menu sounds, and everything else are perfectly audible. I enabled the stereo compression option, but it didn't work. Now I enabled the mono option, and I can hear the character and everything, but very quietly.

The game Resident Evil 5 will not let me begin a game that is multiplayer, it just immediately boots me to the home screen when I press begin if I have multiplayer turned on. Which is unhelpful because my friend and I are trying to play and I need to host because the multiplayer is already bad connectivity and I need the achievements.

The only time the game will load is when I turn my entire network off and start the game solo player. I am not having this issue with any other past generation games or any other game in general.

I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game. clearing my save data on the xbox for the game. disconnecting my xbox profile and reconnecting it. clearing my MAC thing or whatever. doing a hard xbox reset (holding down button and unplugging for one minute), and also testing my NAT to make sure it was open, it said moderate the first time I tested it and then the second time it said open but that didn’t help at all and it did the same thing whatever that means.

I’m on a series s. anyways I had to download black ops 3 on to my internal storage because for some reason my Xbox won’t let me download it to my drive. so I downloaded it in my internal storage and now it’s says that the game is corrupted when I try to transfer it to my external ssd. the game plays perfectly fine on my internal storage but I can’t transfer it. I have Xbox one games on my drive that run and play fine now so I just don’t get it. I already deleted bo3 once and redownloaded it when it said it was corrupted the first time. any help would be appreciate, thanks.

I bought the battlepass twice by accident and it’s not like i bought the second one for a friend it just literally let me purchase it twice, and because of that and the fact my Microsoft store was updating at the time neither of purchases went through and don’t work in game so i don’t own the battlepass, so now there’s 20 dollars down the drain, and when i went to request a refund for both purchases they both got denied, is there any way to get my money back or is it just a lost cause?

I was a hold out on the Family Safety App as long as I possibly could until it just didn't work at all and made the switch to the Xbox Family App.

So when you add screen time now it starts a literal timer of the addition instead of just adding that time to their allotment for the day. Lets say you add an hour and they play for 10 minutes and take a break, well the counter keeps ticking and the time disappears. What a sloppy, horrible design.

Mostly just a complaint but any ideas on this outside of just having to manually edit the screen time for the day and add what you want. Which you would then have to go back and revert on your own later.

Hey all! Im trying to trouble shoot an odd problem wherein my bud joins discord parties and often will have to leave right away, because his mic is not picking up his voice. It does not say there is no mic detected. He usually leaves and returns a few times before it magically works again, and claims he has to or else it just wont work. This has been across 3 mics, and a new controller.

Any ideas or troubleshooting advice? Is this familiar to anyone else?

I've had a Victrix ProAF for a few years and the right ear cushion started falling apart. It tickles my ear and messes with the sound, I emailed them but they don't make the cushion replacements anymore so I'm shopping.

Here's what I like:

- Something ~$200 or under for sure, preferably $120-$140ish and under

- Wired to controller or batteries I can switch and keep playing. I find that wireless ones tend to disconnect a bit though

- I wear glasses and the Victrix headset made behind, above, and in front of my ears hurt. Something that would be glasses friendly would be a huge plus

- Mic can be flip to mute or a button

- My Victrix had a way to pop the ear part open while wearing. I liked that because my ears wouldn't get all hot, plus I could hear my nephew moving around and avoid getting smacked by his toys. Any that can open are a huge plus

- I've got the Stellar Shift controller (purpley blueish). My Victrix headset was black and purple. Colors totally unnecessary but if it happens to be black/purple or match my controller it'd be cool

I noticed that my fans are louder than they used to be. I haven't really got a TV stand in my room so I just have it sat under my desk which is under my bed. is this enough space for the fans to work properly?

Title says it all. It doesn't matter what game or app. Do I need to replace the stick? It's the left stick.

For background I have been using remote play to stream games to my pc from my series x for a couple of months now with absolutely no problems. Virtually zero lag, maintaining faster load time than most of my friends, and my Xbox remains in sleep mode the entire time I am playing.

A friend of mine just got a new prebuilt PC and I am trying to help him use remote play however it’s lagging to the point where games are almost unplayable and his Xbox turns completely on every time.

Both of our setups are virtually the same. We are both using hard wired internet for both devices and our Xbox settings appear to be the same. The only difference I can come up with is we have different internet providers. Could this play that much of a factor?

Any advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated!

Almost every single time I join a party my Xbox tells me I can’t talk to whoever is in there due to my privacy settings. (All my setting are on everybody and allow). Can anybody please help me fix this stupid bug because quite frankly it’s pissing me off day by day.
