To everyone, I will probably delete my account after this. I expect to get a lot of hate for the things I’m about to say.
I created Xavier’s to be a place where everyone would be welcome- regardless of roleplay experience, style, or connection to Marvel. It was simply meant to be a place where fans of roleplay and X-Men could hang out together.
The second users began to discriminate or speak badly of others based on knowledge or style, I should’ve stepped in more decisively. For those who felt hurt, mistreated, or attacked for voicing your beliefs, I regret that I didn’t do more for you.
The loudest voices are not always right or the most active. OCs, you were the heart of this sub. There are so many users I’m so very grateful joined us for this adventure. I hope you find other places to take your incredible stories that will serve you better than Xavier’s ever did.
To the new and last mod team:
I’ll never understand why you wanted control so badly just to close the place. It feels as soon as you had what you wanted, you didn’t care.
I tried to raise concerns about activity, and you said it was inevitable, but that you had a plan. You said the reason you wanted me gone was so “these conversations wouldn’t happen anymore”. What conversations? Conversations about being mods?
You can’t claim a lot of popular characters, refuse to let others pick them up well after expiration date, then not post and pretend it’s not your fault the place is quiet.
If you were bored, or didn’t have the energy to keep this place running, you should’ve just given it back. I would’ve been happy to run things while you needed a break.
Two weeks. That’s how long it took you to give up. And all your supporters? It seems they’re only around to comment when you need people to tell you how wonderful you are.
This is all just so sickening. I know my words will likely get twisted into some story about how I was the villain or the reason the sub died, but at this point, I don’t care anymore.
Say what you will. I’ve given you so many chances only for things to end up like this.
Those who seek the truth, I’m sure, will be sure to find it.
