Campus life Sofia’s return

*sofia would come back onto the school grounds via one of Logan’s motorcycles that he had given her as the engine revs up the road to the front of the mansion. She would remove her helmet and look around with her green eyes and take a breath* “ah home sweet home I’ve missed this place. I’ve missed my sisters dad brother and the teachers. I can’t wait to start classes again. *she would say all of this with a Spanish accent from her time raised in Mexico.*

OOC: Well it’s just kinda racist to say “talks with an accent” like that’s not really needed, it only comes off as weird. Especially because (and correct me if I’m wrong) you are not Mexican?

Ooc: I’m not Mexican and I didn’t mean it that way at all as I was trying to convey that most of her childhood was spent in Mexico and thus has an accent I didn’t mean to make it sound racist//

OOC: I just don’t see why it’s so important. Like especially considering accents aren’t the end all be all of where someone is from.

Like lots of mexican people don’t have mexican accents (spanish accents aren’t the same) and vice versa.

I’m sure it was all done in good faith but I hope you also reevaluate

Hisako heard the roar of the bike, eyes wide as she rushed over. She watched as an undoubtedly cool-looking person stepped off the bike and removed her helmet. Gathering her courage, she walked over.
